Chapter 398 Red Mole on the Chest

Aurelia's heart suddenly contracted, her gaze lifted, and the next second she saw Marcus's gentle and harmless face.

He stepped in, walking to the bedside, with no discernible emotion in his eyes behind the glasses.

Aurelia heard her own heartbeat; the person who kidnapped her was actually Marcus!

Who could have thought that he could do something so crazy?

Aurelia suddenly sat up, her body shrinking back against the headboard, "Uncle Marcus, what are you going to do?"

Her expression was extremely fearful, unable to imagine what Marcus would do to her next. Considering his previous confusing behavior, she couldn't figure him out at all.

Marcus adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, his voice still gentle, "Aurelia, don't be afraid, I won't do anything to you."

How could Aurelia not be afraid? Any woman would be terrified in such a situation—being inexplicably drugged and carried to a hotel on her way home.

Now, alone in a room with a man who had previously made confusing remarks to her, it would be strange not to be scared.

For some reason, all Aurelia could think about were those tragic news stories she had read before, about girls being assaulted, often by someone they knew.

At this moment, Aurelia was so scared her face turned pale, her hands tightly clutching the blanket.

She recalled the day she flew back, seeing a familiar figure on the plane. She thought she was seeing things, but now it seemed Marcus had followed her back to Coral Bay.

The more she thought about it, the more terrifying it became.

"Uncle Marcus, if you have something to say, say it. Don't come any closer."

Marcus curled his lips slightly, speaking calmly, "Aurelia, you really don't need to be afraid. I won't hurt you. I haven't done anything to you; I've just been waiting for you to wake up."

As he spoke, he took a few steps forward, reaching out to pull the blanket Aurelia was clutching, "Aurelia, I brought you here this time just to confirm something that has been bothering me for a long time. I hope you can cooperate. I really won't do anything."

Aurelia's expression was almost desperate, her eyes filled with fear. She didn't have the strength to resist Marcus. The blanket she clung to like a lifeline was suddenly yanked away by him.

She shrank back against the headboard, trembling, "What do you want me to cooperate with?"

Marcus squinted his eyes. He didn't believe what others said easily. He only trusted his own eyes.

"Burry has a red mole on her chest. I want to know if you are her."

Aurelia realized what he wanted to do. She looked down at her clothes, which were still intact.

"Why are you deceiving yourself? I'm not the person you're looking for. As for why she looks like me, I don't know. Maybe she had plastic surgery."

Marcus clenched one hand into a half-fist, coughing lightly into it, "Aurelia, be good. Let me take a look. I really won't do anything. If I wanted to, I wouldn't have waited for you to wake up."

As he spoke, he climbed onto the bed, kneeling on one leg, inching closer.

Aurelia had never experienced such a situation before. The immense fear made it almost impossible for her to think. Probably as an instinctive reaction, she kicked out at Marcus with one leg, one kick after another.

Marcus didn't dodge, letting her vent.

"Aurelia, is that enough?"

After a while, Marcus grabbed Aurelia's slender ankle, a look of joy in his eyes. The feel of her skin was familiar to him. How could she not be her?

"Aurelia." Marcus called out in a steady voice, pressing down on her, pinning her hands above her head,

"Aurelia, be good." His tone was coaxing.

Every time he spoke, it scared Aurelia to her core.

The difference in strength between men and women was significant. Even though Marcus looked frail and sickly, he was not someone she could push away.

Aurelia used all her strength but couldn't move him an inch.

Marcus stared into her eyes for a long time, memories flooding his mind.

Countless passionate nights, he had her beneath him, her eyes red from pleading, her body honestly pressing closer, entangled with him. Now, looking into those wet eyes again, it struck his soul.

How could she not be her? It was impossible.

He resisted the urge to kiss her, one hand moving to unbutton her silk blouse.

One button.

Two buttons.

Her smooth skin gradually revealed before his eyes, like a pure and tempting poppy flower.

His hand paused on the button at her chest, looking up to meet Aurelia's eyes.

At this point, Aurelia had struggled to the point of exhaustion. Combined with the lingering effects of the drug, she had no strength left to do anything. At this moment, she felt a desire to die.

Marcus's mind connected some dots, his eyes suddenly turning blood-red, like a beast that had been offended,

"Aurelia, why did you have children with someone else? Why?"

He was almost crying, his voice filled with extreme sorrow. Thinking about the two children he saw in Reed's hospital room, jealousy drove him mad. The severe violation of his possessiveness made him unable to think straight.

After suppressing it for so long, he finally lost control at this moment, "You said you only loved me. Why did you sleep with another man? Was everything with me just an act? Do you have no heart?"

Marcus suddenly had a violent coughing fit, his skin turning red, veins bulging on his neck, giving the impression he was about to suffocate and die.

His coughing made him loosen his grip.

Aurelia's hands, which had been pinned above her head, were freed. She turned her head and saw her bag by the bed. At this moment, she didn't care about anything else, only wanting to escape from this madman's sight.

She used all her strength to grab her bag, and without hesitation, she smashed it against Marcus's head.

Marcus was still coughing violently, as if someone was choking him.

Aurelia didn't hold back. She felt this was her only chance to escape tonight. She kept swinging her bag, hitting Marcus, while simultaneously freeing herself from him and getting off the bed.

Without bothering to put on shoes, she ran out frantically, using all the strength in her legs.

Outside the room, she remembered to call for help.

Her phone was intact in her bag. Aurelia, with trembling hands, took out her phone, unlocked it, and dialed Joe's number. Before she could speak, Joe's voice came through, "Where are you?"

"Joe, I..."

Aurelia looked around, realizing she was indeed in a hotel. Holding her phone, she walked unsteadily towards the elevator, frequently looking back to see if Marcus was following,

"Joe, I'm in a hotel, in a suite on the 16th floor. I don't know the name of the hotel." Her voice was filled with extreme fear.

Aurelia pressed the elevator button, leaning weakly against the wall. The elevator numbers changed one by one, and then the elevator doors opened.

Aurelia stood at the door and collapsed.

Can't win me back
