Chapter 77 Mrs. Heilbronn's Position Secured
It cannot be denied that he pleased her in bed.
Aurelia fell silent for a moment, then kissed the same spot again,
"Use my hands," she said in a coaxing tone.
She really couldn't stand using her mouth, even though he loved to kiss every inch of her body every time.
Nathaniel was extremely uncomfortable, reluctantly accepting her proposal.
The morning's intimacy directly caused both of them to be late.
Aurelia quickly put on some light makeup and didn't even have time for breakfast, yet she still didn't clock in before nine.
Nathaniel didn't care. He would go whenever he wanted, and being the boss, no one dared say anything to him.
As Aurelia stepped into the design department, Amy Stone greeted her with a roll of her eyes,
"Aurelia, even the boss’s wife is here before you!"
Aurelia naturally knew whom she referred to.
At that moment, Chelsea sat at her desk with a perfect view, looking unfriendly in their direction.
Aurelia spoke in a nonchalant tone, "I overslept. You can deduct my pay."
Amy rolled her eyes. "Tomorrow is the annual design competition in the design department. Everyone has to participate. Those who pass the assessment can get a raise, and those who don't can leave the company on their own. Hurry up and get ready; who knows if we'll see you after tomorrow?"
Aurelia sat at her desk, slowly turning on her computer.
She was only informed about tomorrow's competition; they're just setting her up for embarrassment. Amy's 'voluntarily leaving the company' condition was quite attractive to her. She really didn't want to stay here, but even if she had to leave, it wouldn't be because she was forced out.
This group of people rejected her and wanted her to leave, but she wouldn't let them have their way.
Her current mindset was: I want you to dislike me and yet be unable to do anything about it.
Amy walked away with a sway of her hips.
Aurelia opened her work email and found a new message from the morning; it was about the competition tomorrow.
She asked Tiffany, who was working next to her,
"Are you prepared for the competition tomorrow?"
Tiffany clasped her hands together devoutly. "I've been preparing for a week. Whether I can stay at the Heilbronn Group depends on the competition tomorrow. May the luck be by my side."
"When did you receive the notification?"
Tiffany recalled. "About ten days ago."
Aurelia was speechless; she had guessed right, and it was targeted at her.
After understanding the design requirements, she immediately immersed herself in the design.
With her speed, although the time was short for a day, she didn't need to create a perfect piece. Just getting through the competition was no problem at all. To her, everyone in this room was like elementary school students, not even worthy of shining her shoes in the industry.
She was so busy that she didn't even have time to eat lunch that day.
As the end of the workday approached, her work was about to be completed.
She checked her phone and saw several missed calls from Nathaniel around noon. She guessed he was probably calling her to go upstairs for lunch.
After sitting all day, her back was stiff.
"Who is Ms. Semona, your delivery!"
A delivery person in a work uniform with a helmet shouted outside the door.
Aurelia was stretching lazily when she heard the voice and instinctively felt that Ms. Semona, who the delivery guy mentioned, wasn't her; she hadn't ordered any delivery.
The delivery guy waited for a while, but no one came, so he dialed a number on his phone.
Aurelia's phone on the table rang.
She was a bit confused as she accepted the meal delivered by the delivery guy and brought it to the dining room. It was her favorite sandwich.
After careful thought, there was only one person in the company who knew she loved this sandwich.
She picked up a sandwich, took a bite, and found it very soft and sweet as if it were filled with honey.
Women are so easy to please. A small sandwich touched her so much that, at that moment, all she could think of was his goodness.
Having been at the Heilbronn Group for so long, it was the first time she had been so engrossed in work that her whole body was stiff from sitting all day.
After work, Aurelia remembered that Zack had signed her up for a yoga class, but she had missed several sessions. Today, she had nothing else to do, so she decided to relax her body and mind.
Aurelia stepped on the gas, driving her own car straight to the yoga studio.
She had stored her clothes here, so she went to the changing room first to put on her yoga outfit.
In front of the mirror, she gently touched her belly, and those sensitive could already see that her usually flat belly was slightly protruding. She was carrying twins, and it seemed like she was showing earlier than a single pregnancy.
At the rate her weight was increasing, she would probably need to change her maternity yoga outfit after wearing it only a few times.
Nathaniel had mentioned a few times that she had gained weight, but in reality, it was just her belly and chest.
Aurelia tied her hair up in a convenient style for movement, then walked out of the changing room and toward the yoga room.
The maternity yoga and regular yoga rooms were opposite each other, each occupying half of the floor.
As she stepped into the classroom, someone behind her called her name fiercely.
"Aurelia, what are you doing here?"
When Aurelia heard that voice, she couldn't help but feel a shiver down her spine. It was Chelsea.
"It's none of your business."
She was truly speechless. Why was Chelsea everywhere? Was there really a place in the world without Chelsea? She didn’t expect to run into Chelsea here at all.
She even suspected that Chelsea was following her; otherwise, there couldn't have been so many coincidences.
Chelsea looked at her and then at the sign on the door as if she had been stimulated, her face showing uncontrollable panic. "Why are you in that room?"
Aurelia only then realized that Chelsea cared about this. She had upset Chelsea by appearing in the maternity yoga room.
Being as clever as she was, Chelsea could naturally guess why Aurelia was wearing maternity yoga clothes in the maternity yoga room; she just couldn't believe her eyes.
Apart from Marcus, Chelsea was the second person to discover her pregnancy.
Aurelia wasn't panicking. Knowing how nervous Chelsea was about Nathaniel, she wouldn't voluntarily tell Nathaniel about this matter. She was probably the last person in the world who wanted Nathaniel to know that his wife was pregnant.
"Are you pregnant?" Chelsea couldn't calm her emotions, asking again with an unbelieving tone.
Aurelia nodded calmly. "Yes, you should congratulate me."
Chelsea's face turned pale in a second. Her lips couldn't help but tremble slightly. She knew very well what Aurelia's pregnancy meant.
Nathaniel was currently the head of the Heilbronn Group, so naturally, his child would be the heir of the Heilbronn Group. Reed's fondness for Aurelia was something she had witnessed with her own eyes. Perhaps as soon as Aurelia's baby was born, Reed would be eager to divide the family property.
She was carrying the heir of the Heilbronn Group, and Mrs. Heilbronn's position was now secure.
Chelsea took a step back, feeling a bit unsteady. Her eyes were fixed on Aurelia, who was full of hatred.
Chelsea thought, ‘How could Aurelia have such good luck getting pregnant with Nathaniel's child? She doesn’t deserve it!’
Her gaze fell on Aurelia's belly as if she wanted to poke two holes in it.
"Aurelia, the child isn't his, right? He doesn't like you at all. He would never touch you."
Chelsea's smile was very ugly.
