Saul had been too nervous to touch the tea Zack had brought earlier. Now, he finally dared to take a sip and savor it.

Saul chuckled awkwardly. How could he say it without making Nathaniel uncomfortable?
"Mr. Heilbronn, I have a wife, so I understand!"
Nathaniel was puzzled, not sure what Saul understood, but he had guessed correctly, "You're right. We do have a very good relationship."
Saul seized the opportunity to get closer and asked tentatively, "My wife loves playing poker and often complains about lacking partners. Does your girlfriend share this hobby?"
Saul's question reminded Nathaniel of the past.
She had been taken to poker games by Beatrice and lost every time, never winning once.
