Chapter 486 Do Not Let a Single One Escape

As Nova was speaking, Nathaniel walked through the door.

"The Sinclair Family's artists are always in the news for the wrong reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if they go bankrupt soon."

Nova turned around at the sound of his voice. Her sharp tongue always seemed to get her into trouble.

"Mr. Heilbronn, the Sinclair Family is doing just fine under Caleb's management. Caleb didn't even sign Lori; he's been trying to terminate her contract for a while now.

And not to be rude, but your Heilbronn Group really needs a new batch of designers. The current style is nowhere near what it used to be. If this keeps up, your position in the domestic jewelry market will soon belong to Aurelia. By then, it'll be too late to cry about it."

Nathaniel frowned slightly. Was she cursing his company?

"Aurelia and I are practically one and the same. Merging our companies isn't out of the question."

Nova shot him a sideways glance.

"That's aiming pretty high. Aurelia is the god of the design world."

Nova meticulously reviewed several design drafts and discussed the quality and types of jewels with Aurelia before leaving.

Finally, Aurelia was done with her work.

Nathaniel stood up from the couch.

"Aurelia, what do you want to eat? Should I have The Velvet Palate prepare something, or should we cook at home?"

He paused for a moment.

"Let's have The Velvet Palate handle it."

Thinking about the two bodyguards waiting downstairs, Nathaniel figured Joe would be furious if he took Aurelia home right after Joe left. The little trust they had built would crumble again.

Aurelia, unaware of his thoughts, said, "I want some soup, something light. And just a few other dishes, nothing spicy. I've been feeling a bit under the weather."

Nathaniel leaned in to take a closer look at her. Sure enough, there was a pimple near her nose.

"With me and Joe backing you up, what do you have to stress about? Who would dare mess with you?"

Not even a celebrity, let alone a few ghosts, could harm her with him and Joe around.

Just then, Nathaniel's phone rang. It was a lawyer Zack had arranged.

"Mr. Heilbronn, everything you asked for is settled. The court date is set for the 13th. We're suing about twenty people, including three media workers and four entertainment industry folks. The rest are Phoenix's fans. Should we also go after other accounts that made negative comments about Ms. Semona?"

"Don't let a single one off the hook."

"Understood. In my experience, these cases usually end with apologies and financial compensation. As for the media, their careers are pretty much over."

"Handle it all. Remember, no mercy."

"Got it."

After hanging up, Aurelia looked at him curiously. Nathaniel put his phone away and asked, "You heard all that?"

"Yeah, you tracked down everyone who insulted me?"

"Every last one. You can't go easy on these people. If spreading rumors and online harassment come without consequences, they'll just get worse. We need to make an example of them so they think twice before doing it again. We're doing this to clean up the online environment for everyone. No need to feel guilty."

"I won't feel guilty. They should've thought about the consequences before they insulted me. I have people backing me up; not just anyone can mess with me."

Aurelia's proud tone made Nathaniel feel good. He was happy to be her support, to be needed by her.

"So, don't stress out. Don't waste your energy. If something comes up, come to me or Joe. And if all else fails, you can always turn to your son. He's quite capable, you know. Back then, he..."

Nathaniel almost let something slip. He and Jacoba had agreed to keep this secret from Aurelia. He quickly changed the subject.

"Shall we go downstairs to eat?"

Aurelia asked, puzzled, "What did my son do to you?"

Nathaniel cleared his throat and grabbed her bag from the coat rack.

"Nothing. Let's go to The Velvet Palate for dinner."

Three days passed in a blur.

During these days, Nathaniel picked up and dropped off Aurelia from work, playing the role of her protector diligently. He made sure to get her home on time every night. Life was peaceful, and there were no more online scandals.

Karma Jewelry's ads were everywhere, drawing significant attention.

The official Karma Jewelry account was now free of Phoenix's fans, filled instead with Aurelia's supporters and people attracted by the jewelry in the ads. The comments on Instagram were all positive.

"@Karma Jewelry, your pieces are stunning! Where can I find a store in the US? Are the prices reasonable? How come I never heard of you before?"

"Wow, I did some research and found out the lead designer is Lolly, the winner of the Cynthia competition and a star in the jewelry design world. I'm sold!"

"Is Karma Jewelry a new brand? Why can't I find any stores in the US? The designs are so classy. We need stores here!"

Seeing the enthusiastic responses on Instagram, the entire Karma Jewelry team was thrilled.

After all their hard work, they were finally seeing some results. Everyone was excited and united in their goal to grow the brand and surpass the Heilbronn Group.

Aurelia called a meeting with the marketing team. The next step was to contact major malls and consider setting up brand counters to officially enter the market.

"Ms. Semona, I completed the market research report last week. We've targeted eight large malls in four major cities for a trial run, with two counters per city. If you approve, I'll start making arrangements tomorrow."

Aurelia took the report from the marketing manager. The selected malls were all sizable and part of national chains.

She reviewed the current jewelry brands in those malls, noting the presence of the Heilbronn Group. Her eyebrows raised slightly.

From now on, Karma Jewelry was officially a competitor of the Heilbronn Group. Aurelia knew that as a new brand, they couldn't immediately match the established Heilbronn Group.

After all, the Heilbronn Group had been in business for years and had a substantial customer base. It wouldn't be easy to catch up.

"We're targeting malls that also have the Heilbronn Group. Let's set a goal: if our sales reach one-tenth of the Heilbronn Group's after our counters are set up, everyone will get an extra month's bonus at the end of the year."
