Chapter 426 The Vixen

Zack returned after seeing off the guest and knocked on the door.

"Mr. Heilbronn, if your discussion is settled, I'll have the legal department prepare the contract. We'll need to confirm the terms with Mr. Pena."

Nathaniel nodded. "Get the contract drafted as soon as possible. Have the design and marketing departments move over first. HR should talk to everyone; those willing to relocate to Coral Bay will get a 10% salary increase. For those unwilling, we'll terminate their contracts with triple compensation and continue hiring to expand our team."

Zack noted down everything Nathaniel had just said. "Mr. Heilbronn, should we also hire a few secretaries and assistants here?"

Nathaniel was meticulous in his work, making it tough to work under him. The secretarial department at Imperick had over a dozen people, and when things got busy, everyone was swamped with no time to rest.

Without those assistants, Zack's job as a special assistant would be much harder.

"Have HR handle it. Use the original staff if possible."

Zack understood; it was the same principle as the design department.

Nathaniel finished his instructions and then noticed a message from Aurelia. He unconsciously licked his lips and wiped them with his finger, leaving a faint red mark on his hand.

Zack, busy taking notes, hadn't noticed at first but was drawn in by Nathaniel's action. Zack cleared his throat, trying not to laugh.

"Mr. Heilbronn, there's some on the left side too."

Nathaniel wiped the left side with another finger, leaving another faint red mark.

"Mr. Heilbronn, your upper lip..."

Nathaniel glared, and Zack swallowed the rest of his words.

"Anything else?"

Zack did have one more thing to mention.

"Mr. Heilbronn, Mr. Novak from Golden Horizon Bullion Group has invited you to dinner tonight."

"I already have plans." Nathaniel remembered his dinner date with Aurelia and declined without hesitation.

"Understood." Zack quickly exited the office.

Karma Jewelry.

Aurelia received a message from Caleb with detailed information about the popular male star Phoenix and his endorsement fee.

Aurelia consulted Joe, who confirmed that the price Caleb quoted was very reasonable, the lowest among all of Phoenix's endorsements.

Aurelia: [Isn't this a bit too cheap?]

Caleb replied almost instantly, as if he had been waiting for her message.

Caleb: [Not at all. The entertainment industry is lucrative, and this doesn't cost much. The more endorsements, the more money. Phoenix is one of my artists, so I have some say in this. Don't worry.]

Aurelia knew that getting this price was partly due to Caleb's personal reasons. At market rates, this price would only get a second-tier artist, not a currently trending star.

Aurelia hated owing favors, especially those that couldn't be repaid.

Aurelia: [Alright then, as a thank you, I'll design a set of top-tier jewelry for Nova's wedding. Thanks for your help, Caleb. When is Phoenix available for a meal?]

Caleb: [I'll arrange everything, don't worry!]

Caleb might seem carefree, but he was reliable, and she trusted him.

After chatting with Caleb, Aurelia carefully reviewed Phoenix's information and then sent a message to the group: [I found an endorser. What do you all think?]

The group chat exploded instantly.

[Phoenix is my dream guy! Is he really endorsing our brand? Does this mean my designs could be worn by Phoenix?]

[I just want to say, Anna, you're amazing! How did you find this god? Such great taste!]

[Anna, will Phoenix come to our company? Will we get a chance to meet him, shake hands, or get autographs?]

Aurelia wasn't a fan, so she didn't expect everyone to be so excited about Phoenix endorsing Karma Jewelry.

Aurelia: [Everyone, calm down. Meeting him isn't guaranteed, but I can try to get autographs. Whether he agrees or not, I can't promise, but I'll try!]

As soon as she said that, someone in the group started a sign-up list.

Aurelia watched the list grow and wondered if so many autographs would exhaust Phoenix.

She finished her work on time and was about to leave when she heard a commotion outside, getting closer.

When she heard the woman's shouting, her brows furrowed.

Outside, Aurora was blocking the door, refusing to let anyone in.

Beatrice had somehow found her way here, demanding Aurelia come out to settle a score.

Aurora saw the well-dressed, wealthy-looking woman and knew she wasn't easy to deal with. No matter the reason for her visit, Aurora was determined not to let her in.

Aurelia stepped out of her office, and Beatrice was still shouting.

"Aurelia, you vixen! You have the nerve to seduce my son but not to face me? My son is so bewitched by you that he doesn't even care about his family anymore. He's moving the company, and he didn't do anything when his sister was taken by the police. He's not a cold-hearted person. Come out and explain what spell you've cast on him to make him abandon his mother and sister and give up everything to be with you!"

Beatrice's voice echoed through the entire floor. Seeing Aurelia only made her shout louder, almost jumping in anger, and Aurora could barely hold her back.

Such explosive news made everyone stop working, but with Aurelia present, no one dared to gossip. The usually relaxed office atmosphere was now tense and silent.

Only Beatrice's shouting could be heard.

Aurelia met her gaze and calmly told a colleague nearby, "Jack, call security."

Beatrice was infuriated by Aurelia's attitude. After all her shouting, Aurelia didn't react at all and just called for security.

At the very least, she expected a shouting match.

Now she felt like she had punched a pillow. She had underestimated this woman, who turned out to be very patient.

Aurelia wasn't being patient; she just knew that arguing wouldn't solve anything and would only lower her own status. It was better to have security remove her.

Jack immediately called the security department, and they promised to send someone over right away.

Beatrice was determined to make Aurelia speak. She couldn't believe anyone could be insulted like this and not retaliate.

"You secretly had children with my son, moved to another city to give birth, and won't even let the children acknowledge their family. They even have your last name. What are you planning? I'm telling you, the children's last names must be changed, and custody belongs to the Heilbronn family."

The more Beatrice shouted, the more agitated she became. During Nathaniel's days in Coral Bay, she had begged many people in Imperick, but no one could get Ashley out. Even long-term business partners of the Heilbronn Group refused to help her.
