Chapter 512 Can You Do It or Not

Aurelia couldn't get any answers from Nathaniel, so she turned to Joe.

Joe and Nathaniel seemed to be in cahoots, both staying silent.

Nathaniel spoke up again, "I'm leaving the day after tomorrow. I'll sort out my tasks tomorrow."

He was relieved that his grandfather was out of the hospital, easing his worries.

Joe saw Nathaniel's determination and didn't try to persuade him further. He acknowledged Nathaniel's competence and knew that no one was more suitable for the job.

"I'll hire a couple of bodyguards to keep you safe. I'll handle the company's affairs and join you in a few days," Joe said, adding, "Safety first!"

Nathaniel felt a bittersweet warmth in his heart at Joe's concern. "Don't worry. I have kids and a girlfriend. I value my life more than anyone."

The dinner ended with just the two men clinking glasses. Aurelia, caught in the middle, stayed silent and lost her appetite. She wasn't naive; she understood the gravity of their conversation. This trip was no simple matter.

After dinner, Joe prepared to head home, exhausted from his business trip.

Aurelia stood by Nathaniel, not moving. "Joe..."

Joe sighed inwardly, understanding the complex emotions in her eyes. "I have some other matters to attend to, so I won't be taking you home."

He gave her an out.

Once Joe left, Aurelia got into Nathaniel's car, her mind in turmoil. "Nathaniel, I don't want to go home right now. Just drive anywhere."

Nathaniel chuckled, "Alright, my princess, hop in."

He helped her with the seatbelt and drove aimlessly until they reached the beach. This area was undeveloped and quiet at night.

Aurelia had been silent the whole way. When the car stopped, she finally asked, "Nathaniel, tell me the truth. How dangerous is this trip?"

Nathaniel tried to sound casual, "Come on, do you think I'd rush into danger? I'm not stupid. Besides, your brother hired bodyguards to follow me, and the police are involved. What could go wrong?"

Aurelia felt suffocated in the car and rolled down the window halfway. The damp sea breeze made her eyes water. "Nathaniel, if you're lying to me, I..."

Before she could finish, Nathaniel pulled her close and kissed her.

"Aurelia, are you that worried about me? What are you afraid of? I still have to attend your grandmother's birthday, be Zack's best man, and go to Casaviya with you. I have so much to do. I won't let myself get into danger."

He kissed her again, gently prying her lips open, savoring her taste.

His kiss was both tempting and comforting. Aurelia gradually lost herself in it, her eyes becoming hazy. Between kisses, she murmured, "Nathaniel, Nathaniel..."

Nathaniel's throat tightened. He unbuckled his seatbelt and pulled her onto his lap. Somehow, the seat reclined, making the position even more intimate.

Aurelia clung to his shoulders, her eyes filled with desire. The hard bulge beneath her left no room for other thoughts.

Adults don't need to spell everything out. Nathaniel understood her every emotion.

"Aurelia, there's no condom in the car."

Aurelia sniffled, feeling wronged. "I don't care."

Nathaniel laughed wickedly, "Are you afraid I won't come back and want a farewell?"

Aurelia bit his neck, "Stop talking. Can you do it or not?"

At this point, he had no choice but to comply. Nathaniel felt her clumsy teasing, and the tension in his mind grew. She was determined to make love.

Nathaniel's body tensed, blood rushing south. "Aurelia, is it a safe time?"

Aurelia didn't care about anything else. "Just do it."

It was their first time making love in the car, urgent and thrilling. Clothes quickly scattered, and Nathaniel took control, kissing every sensitive spot on her body.

The car seemed to float on the sea, rising and falling with the waves.

After what felt like an eternity, they finally finished. Aurelia lay on him, breathing heavily. Nathaniel caught his breath. "Aurelia, put on your clothes. Don't catch a cold."

Aurelia ignored him, staying close. "No, let's do it again..."

Nathaniel thought he had misheard. She usually complained after one round, but now she wanted more.

Aurelia turned all her worries into desire, clinging to him desperately.

Nathaniel chuckled, pulling a nearby shirt over her back. He rolled up the window, sealing them in a private space.

"Can I rest for a bit?"

Aurelia was exhausted but still warm. "How long do you need?"

Nathaniel was taken aback, feeling pressure for the first time. "Ten minutes, okay?"

He had been too excited earlier and felt drained. Nathaniel remembered Phoenix's teasing about being an old man in his thirties, and he felt a bit insecure.

Four years ago, at the Bloom Villa, he always wore her out, leaving no chance for her to ask for more.

Aurelia rested her head on his chest, like a contented cat, kissing his muscles.

Nathaniel was going crazy with desire. "Aurelia..."

His voice was hoarse. "Come home with me tonight. Don't go back to the Semona Family."

Aurelia nodded slightly. She understood Joe's attitude, knowing he was giving them time alone.

Nathaniel bit her soft flesh, "Then why rush? We have all night."

They stayed by the beach for hours, only heading home when it was nearly bedtime for the kids.

Jacoba, Dorothy, and their great-grandfather were having a blast. When their parents walked in, the kids were still too excited to sleep.

Usually, Reed would be asleep by now, but tonight he was being stubborn like a child.

Nathaniel picked up Dorothy, "Dorothy, it's bedtime. Great-grandpa is tired. You can play more tomorrow."

Dorothy reluctantly agreed, "Okay."

Jacoba chimed in, "Great-grandpa, rest well. We'll play more tomorrow. I still need to learn chess."

Reed laughed, "Go to sleep, kids. You need lots of sleep to grow tall, taller than your parents."

Kids love hearing about growing tall. They dream of growing up to do many things.

The two kids happily followed their parents to their rooms.

One followed Dad, the other Mom. After getting ready for bed, they prepared to snuggle in.

Dorothy and Jacoba's rooms were across from each other. Before entering, Nathaniel paused and looked at Aurelia. They exchanged a silent, meaningful glance, communicating thousands of words in seconds.
