Chapter 62 Your Man Is Here

Betty was half asleep, glancing at her phone to see it was almost 1 a.m. About five minutes later, Betty handed the keys to Nathaniel, looked towards the guest room, and couldn't help but advise,

"Mr. Heilbronn, Mrs. Heilbronn is actually easy to please. Women are sensitive creatures when it comes to language. Soothe her a bit, and you won't argue."

Reed was eager to have his great-grandson, calling every day to ask, but he couldn't help with the couple sleeping separately. Both Nathaniel and Aurelia were stubborn and firm in this matter, so Betty didn't dare say much, fearing she might offend them.

Nathaniel took the keys and nodded. "Thank you, Betty. You can go rest now."

Betty quickly went downstairs, afraid of delaying Nathaniel's reconciliation with Aurelia.

Nathaniel inserted the key into the lock and easily opened the door.

The fragrance that greeted him inside sparked a sense of restlessness in his heart.

She had used a sleep-inducing fragrance.

He walked to the bedside, not knowing how many times he had gazed at her like this in the middle of the night. Her makeup was removed cleanly, her fair face tender and delicate, with her small mouth slightly open, breathing directly onto his face.

"Aurelia."

He called out, but she continued to sleep soundly.

He lifted a corner of the blanket, lay down gently beside her, and pulled her into his arms.

Aurelia turned over, her fuzzy head nuzzling into his chest. Her restless little hand also skillfully found its way into his robe.

In her deep sleep, her guard was almost down to zero.

Aurelia muttered, "Nathaniel, I feel really sad that you divorced me for Chelsea."

Nathaniel stiffened. "Aurelia, I tore up the divorce agreement."

He couldn't promise her not to see or contact Chelsea again. As he tried to explain further, he felt a dampness on his chest. His thumb gently slid over her smooth, tear-stained face.

"If you didn't want to divorce, why did you sign the agreement so quickly?"

He still felt somewhat indignant about it. On the surface, Aurelia seemed weak and easy to bully, but in reality, she was quite strong-willed. When he mentioned divorce, she truly started to distance herself from him.

Divorce was his idea, but he hadn't expected himself to be the one who couldn't bear it first.

Nathaniel called out, "Aurelia?"

He got no response. After a while, he called out again. Finally, he heard Aurelia say, "Samuel, where are you?"

Nathaniel was seized by anger and jealousy upon hearing that name again. He propped himself up to look at her face, realizing she had been sleep-talking.

He couldn't help but clench his fist, thinking, ‘Samuel! Samuel! It is always Samuel in her dreams. I, however, only appear in her nightmares.’

At this moment, he wanted to push her away, seeing Aurelia curled up into a small ball. She always curled up when she dreamt, like an insecure cat.

Aurelia in Nathaniel's arms was warm and fragrant, and holding her made him feel excited.

He resisted the urge to wake her up and removed the hand on her abdomen. If he continued like this, it was really hard to guarantee what could happen.

It was the first time he had restrained himself like this while sharing a bed with her, and he couldn't believe what he was holding back. With his legitimate wife in his embrace, he found himself wrestling with the need to suppress his own surging emotions.

That night, he barely managed to fall asleep as dawn approached.

Aurelia was awakened by a phone call.

Her phone had just started ringing when Nathaniel's phone also rang.

Aurelia looked at Nathaniel in front of her in surprise.

She remembered locking the door before going to sleep, yet he had managed to enter with a key, just as he had said. A door couldn't keep him out if he wanted to come in.

Still in a panic from waking up next to Nathaniel, her mind was muddled. The call was from Ulysses. Calling so early must mean something urgent.

Almost simultaneously, Nathaniel also answered the call.

Ulysses said, "Aurelia, who gave you that glass of juice on your desk yesterday?"

Aurelia, still groggy, agreed, and before she could ask, Ulysses blurted out, "I drank your juice yesterday, and something happened; I ended up sleeping with a man."

Aurelia's mind cleared a bit. "Sleeping with a man isn't that unusual."

It would be more surprising if he had slept with a woman.

There was a pause on the other end, then a heavy voice came. "You know the person I slept with."

Aurelia fell silent, unable to guess who he had slept with. Recalling yesterday, the glass of juice was brought by Ashley. She never drank anything from someone she didn't trust in such situations.

She hadn't noticed that Ulysses had drunk it, and now something had indeed happened.

Thinking about it, Aurelia felt a sense of dread.

At that moment, the man next door, in a bad mood, said into the phone with irritation,

"It's just a small matter. A man crying like a baby is really unreasonable."

After speaking, Nathaniel hung up.

Nathaniel felt no sympathy for the person on the other end of the call, but he was more interested in the woman in front of him.

"Aurelia, come here."

He reached out his long arm and pulled her into his arms without giving her a chance to react, his voice carrying the laziness of just waking up. After this move, he even used one hand to hang up the call Aurelia had been on ruthlessly.

"Aurelia, you should pay more care to your man first."

He took her hand, guiding it to the part of him that was hot due to the desire that he had been suppressing all night.

Aurelia was scared, as if she had been electrified. She tried to leave, but he forcefully pulled her back.

"Aurelia, how long has it been since we last made love? Don't you want to make love with me?"

As he spoke, he rolled over and pinned her down, looking at her with passion, his eyes intent as if he wanted to see through her.

Aurelia was wearing a modest nightgown with a tie. Terrified, she unconsciously tightened her neckline.

In Nathaniel's eyes, these small actions were a clear provocation.

As she tried to tighten it, he deliberately loosened it.

After a few rounds of struggle, he simply untied the thin strap around her waist. He smoothly pushed aside their shirts, revealing her graceful figure before him.

Nathaniel stared for a few seconds, his breathing becoming rapid.

"Aurelia, I think you've gained some weight."

Aurelia's heart almost leaped to her throat. "Where?"

Her soft chest changed shape under his large hand. The slight difference in his palm couldn't be ignored.

He moved his hand away, gently sucking her breasts with his mouth.

Aurelia's mind was in a whirl because of his actions.

"Nathaniel. No..."

Her feeble voice resisted, but he was rebellious.

Aurelia gasped with her head tilted back, like a fish out of water, desperately seeking a source of water. The scorching body temperature that didn't belong to her made her even more dehydrated.

She was so seduced by him that her mind couldn't think straight, her eyes going from dazed to unfocused.

Nathaniel held her chin, making her look into his eyes, filled with desire. Aurelia was unable to resist.

"Aurelia, look at me."

Aurelia's mind cleared slightly, and she stubbornly turned her head to the side, only to be forcefully turned back by him.

"Aurelia, don't take Marcus's car and don't smile at him. Your man is here!"

She chuckled faintly, realizing Nathaniel was holding a grudge.

Not hearing a definite answer, Nathaniel asked again, "Did you hear me?"
