Chapter 103 Your Face is Big

The chat was interrupted here, and Nathaniel lifted his eyelids to take a look.

"Discussing whether your face is big or not."

Aurelia couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Ashley already regarded Aurelia as her imaginary enemy. Everyone around praised Aurelia's beauty; even Reed and the butler Ted sided with Aurelia. She was getting really annoyed.

She looked at Aurelia and unconsciously touched her face. In her mind, she thought, 'My face isn't big either.' The key was that Aurelia was the typical small-faced beauty, and she had to admit that the annoying Aurelia did have some charm.

"Nathaniel! Aurelia's face is even bigger. You should say that to her."

Ashley was anxious, her face turning red. Nathaniel shouldn't say that about her.

Nathaniel's initial comment was meant as a joke, but Ashley took it seriously. He actually compared them and then looked at Aurelia and finally concluded, "Your face is bigger than Aurelia's."

Ashley was directly annoyed and sat in a lounge chair without saying a word.

A waiter brought fruits over, and Nathaniel, having upset Ashley, casually picked up a grape and ate it, completely ignoring Ashley, who was sitting beside him with a sullen face.

Aurelia, in a good mood, watched his profile from the side and thought to herself, 'He really is a sharp-tongued man, not even sparing his sister.'

"Do you want some?" Nathaniel picked up a grape and asked.

Aurelia shook her head. She had indeed just finished a satisfying meal, and Amber had advised her to monitor her sugar intake during her last prenatal check-up. Lately, Aurelia had been sticking to fruits with low sugar content; hence, she dared not indulge in grapes, known for their sweetness.

Ashley glanced sideways and saw her favorite grapes on the plate. Nathaniel only asked his wife if she wanted some, completely ignoring his sister.

She couldn't bear the frustration building up inside her, so she got up from the lounge chair, grabbed the plate full of grapes, and proudly glanced at Aurelia.

Nathaniel furrowed his brow. "Ashley, mind your manners. Show some courtesy."

Ashley chuckled, holding the fruit plate, and asked Caleb beside her, "Caleb, do you want some?"

Caleb shook his head.

Ashley suddenly felt it was pointless. She had snatched the plate of grapes, but no one seemed to care, making her look petty.

She wanted to annoy Aurelia, but it didn't go as planned. It was like punching cotton with no impact!

Ashley tossed the fruit plate onto the table.

She said, "Aurelia, you haven't even started comparing with me yet, and you've already run away. Are you scared?"

She was determined to embarrass Aurelia in front of her to seek joy.

Nathaniel stood up first, holding a shirt that the waiter had brought over.

"Aurelia, let me teach you how to play," Nathaniel said.

Then, they walked to the field. Before they began, Nathaniel tied the shirt around Aurelia's waist, feeling relieved only when her dazzling fair thighs were covered.

Just like before, Nathaniel came up from behind and held her hand, the gesture so intimate that even Caleb dared not look.

"Aurelia, feet apart shoulder-width, grip the club tightly, knees slightly bent, and pay attention to the flexibility of your wrists."

Aurelia felt the warmth behind her and a faint scent in her nose, momentarily distracted. In just a few seconds, he noticed.

"Aurelia, focus."

Aurelia's ears turned red. Before she could react, her hand was already swinging the club.

The ball seemed to follow a predetermined path and smoothly went into the hole with a single stroke.

Applause erupted behind them. Ashley turned her head, and Caleb was clapping alone. It was Nathaniel who had made the shot, not Aurelia.

Ashley was annoyed to see Aurelia sticking to her brother, so she took the opportunity to play with her phone while the two were practicing.

Aurelia took a few shots, Nathaniel guiding her while Ashley stood by patiently.

"Can you even do this? Do we need a man to compete between us?"

Nathaniel let go of Aurelia's hand first and asked her, "Can you do it?"

Aurelia wasn't very confident either and pursed her lips. "I'll give it a try."

She thought to herself, 'As a beginner, losing to Ashley wouldn't be too embarrassing.'

Ashley suddenly perked up.

"Let's stick to the previous rules: three rounds, two wins. The loser has to help the winner to take her shoes. How about that?"

Nathaniel frowned. "Do you have to be so disgusting? Everyone knows your feet stink!"

"My feet don't stink."

Ashley felt speechless.

Ashley took three shots, two balls went in, and the last one missed by a hair. She looked triumphantly at Aurelia.

On the other hand, after Aurelia took a shot, she was preparing for the second one when she caught Nathaniel's sudden change in expression.

Following his gaze, she saw a figure in white slowly approaching.

Chelsea was wearing sunglasses and swinging her long hair. Aurelia remembered her using crutches yesterday, but today, she wasn't limping at all, walking with confidence.

Aurelia's hands tightened, sweating a lot.

"Who invited her?"

Nathaniel locked eyes with Ashley. The atmosphere around them was thick with tension.

Ashley, usually bold, was only afraid of Nathaniel. At that moment, she realized that Nathaniel didn't welcome Chelsea's arrival, even though she had secretly invited her through Facebook.

To avoid getting into trouble, Ashley threw the golf club and ran toward Chelsea faster than a rabbit.

Nathaniel rubbed his head, feeling a headache coming on, wanting to strangle the troublemaker Ashley.

He had just found some peace for the day, but it seemed like there were no more quiet days ahead.

With Chelsea's arrival, Nathaniel lost all interest in playing, and the atmosphere immediately turned awkward.

"Nathaniel, I'm late. Are you guys having fun?"

Nathaniel leaned back in his chair, silent for a while,

"Why don't you keep Ashley company?"

"Because Ashley had invited her; she should entertain her."

Chelsea tossed her hair. "It's been a while since I last played golf. I can’t beat Ashley. How about you teach me?"

Nathaniel remained silent.

Caleb, unaware of the relationships between the people, occasionally stole glances at Aurelia, sensing her displeasure since Chelsea's arrival. He also started to develop a dislike towards Chelsea.

After a few tense moments, Aurelia began to feel nauseous. She hadn't had morning sickness for a while now.

Perhaps seeing Chelsea made her feel sick.

Aurelia retched a few times in the bathroom but couldn't vomit. After coming out, she didn't dare to walk far, afraid she might feel sick again later. She slowly strolled to the nearby racetrack, where several horses were tethered in the stables, munching on grass.

She squatted down, plucked some grass leaves, and fed them through the fence. The horses finished the grass in her hand and neighed as if interacting kindly with her. She fed them attentively, completely unaware of the footsteps approaching from behind.

"Ms. Semona, do you find it more comfortable to be with horses than with people?"

Aurelia was startled and saw Caleb awkwardly smiling at her.

"Mr. Sinclair, I'm really sorry for making you think I was Ashley."

Caleb became more serious and stopped making humorous remarks after realizing she was Nathaniel's wife.

"It's not your fault. I assumed you were the Heilbronn family's daughter without asking first. I was presumptuous."

As Caleb spoke, his gaze remained fixed on Aurelia's face, unable to look away.

Feeling uncomfortable under his gaze, Aurelia asked, "Mr. Sinclair, did I overdo my makeup?"

Caleb rubbed the back of his neck apologetically,

"I'm sorry. I got distracted."

After a brief conversation, Aurelia saw Nathaniel striding towards them with a straight face.
