Chapter 443 Better to Have Them Just in Case

"Aurelia, are you off work? Haven't had dinner yet?"

"Grandpa, we both just got off work."

Reed laughed and said, "It's nice that your companies are next to each other. Nathaniel found a good office location this time. You can have lunch together and go home together in the evening."

Nathaniel went to the fridge to grab things on his own, taking out a lot of meat, eggs, and vegetables. Reed watched as he emptied his fridge and took Aurelia upstairs.

This rascal only had Aurelia in his heart now!

Nathaniel put the things he took out in the kitchen and specifically checked if the door was locked to avoid another awkward situation like last time.

He wasn't trying to avoid Reed, but if it happened again, he really wouldn't be able to appease Aurelia.

The two of them went back to the kitchen to prepare the vegetables together, like an ordinary married couple.

Aurelia said, "Kindergarten is about to start. You and I will go to the opening ceremony together."

Nathaniel paused while washing the vegetables. He hadn't attended any of the kids' parent-teacher meetings yet, but now he had the opening ceremony to look forward to. There was no reason to miss it. "Of course, I'll go."

"Yeah, next Monday. Remember the time and don't forget. If you forget, your daughter and son won't talk to you for a month."

Nathaniel took the vegetables out and put them in the colander, then went to wash other vegetables. He recalled his own childhood; it seemed like Reed always attended the parent-teacher meetings, and his parents rarely went.

Thinking about it now, he felt a bit regretful that Matthew and Beatrice never showed up together at his school.

"Don't worry, I won't forget anything about the kids."

Aurelia put the sliced meat into a bowl and leaned against the counter, deep in thought.

After a moment, she said, "I'll prepare tomorrow and fly to Imperick the day after. Do you think the timing works?"

Nathaniel nodded. "I can do that."

"Then I'll have Aurora book the tickets. I need to tell the family when I get back; my grandmother doesn't know about this yet."

After dinner, the two of them nestled on the couch, absentmindedly watching TV. Neither of them paid attention to what was on.

Aurelia glanced at Nathaniel, "How about I help you pack?"

Nathaniel leaned back, one hand resting on the back of the couch behind her.

"There's not much to pack. We have a home in Imperick with all the essentials."

Then he asked, "Aurelia, how about staying at the Bloom Villa with me this time?"

Aurelia responded with a soft 'mm,' and Nathaniel was very happy.

He dreamed of living with her at the Bloom Villa again, but unfortunately, those days were gone.

Their wedding house was always kept clean by Betty, with everything arranged as it was, waiting for the lady of the house to return.

"Aurelia, thank you..."

He didn't know how to express his joy, blurting out a thank you.

Aurelia stood up from the couch.

"Alright, since there's nothing else to do, I'll help you pack. We still need to bring some daily necessities."

She went to the master bedroom, where the bed was still in the state she left it in the morning. The clothes she had changed out of were already washed and hung up.

She pulled out a suitcase, opened it, and placed it on the floor. Aurelia put his shirts, pants, and other items in, finally adding socks and underwear, just like she used to do before his business trips when they lived at the Bloom Villa, thinking of everything he might need.

Nathaniel stood by, watching her, not helping.

To him, this scene was a kind of enjoyment he didn't want to miss a second of. When Aurelia finished packing and was about to close the suitcase, Nathaniel strode to the bedside and threw in the unused condoms from the night before.

Aurelia's ears turned red, and she glared at him, "What are you doing?"

Nathaniel smiled mischievously, "Aurelia, better to have them just in case. The ones at the Bloom Villa are expired."

"Who said I would use them with you?"

Nathaniel hugged her from behind and apologized, "It was my fault yesterday. I promise to listen to you next time, okay?"

Then he whispered in her ear, "I'll give Betty a vacation, so it'll just be us at home."

Aurelia felt a tingling at the back of her neck, her most sensitive spot, and he rested his chin there, perhaps intentionally.

"Someone said they'd come back and kneel on durian, but it turns out to be a lie?"

Nathaniel pecked her behind the ear.

"How do you want me to kneel, with or without clothes?"

"Roll up your pants and kneel!"

Nathaniel smirked, "You're really ruthless."

He said this as he turned and left the room, heading to the fridge to get the half durian.

When he returned, he had a plate and disposable gloves.

He peeled the durian flesh and fed it to her.

With Nathaniel serving her, Aurelia lazily opened her mouth, quickly finishing the large piece of durian. As she ate the last bite, she licked his fingers, and the next second, they both froze.

A few seconds later, Nathaniel's fingers moved, touching her wet tongue, sending a tingling sensation through his body.

He reluctantly withdrew his hand.

Aurelia's lips were still covered in durian flesh, and she licked them unconsciously. In that moment, his tongue met hers.

A gentle suck.

They forgot what they were talking about.

The two, separated for too long, were filled with passion.

The two boxes of condoms just packed were taken out again. Nathaniel was right; they would be needed.

Can't win me back
