Chapter 1010 This Evidence is Simply Too Amazing!
As Thessaly ate, she wondered if it was Kelvin who had rescued her and exposed Brandon's dirty deeds, or if she was still trapped in Brandon's web, just another pawn in his game.
If Brandon threatened Kelvin, saying he'd kill her if the bug's contents were revealed... what would Kelvin do?
Kelvin, despite his cold and ruthless exterior, would still care about her well-being because of Penelope.
So, would he just hold onto the evidence without making it public?
No way.
Thessaly had worked too hard to get this evidence; she couldn't just let it go to waste.
As she thought about it, she suddenly burst into laughter.
Brandon glanced at her.
'What is up with her?'
"Nothing, don't mind me," Thessaly said with a smile, biting her fork. "I just thought of something really funny."
Brandon looked away.
"Mashed potatoes are so delicious," Thessaly said, poking at her food. "I've been watching my figure for years and haven't eaten my fill in so long. After being hungry for days, mashed potatoes feel like the best food in the world."
Brandon remained silent, assuming she was just rambling.
Keeping Thessaly confined in the Walker Mansion wasn't a long-term solution.
She had to go back to filming and appear in public. He couldn't watch her every moment.
He needed to come up with a plan...
At the King Manor.
Penelope walked ahead with Lucy, while Sam dawdled, eventually catching up to Kelvin.
"What's up, kid?" Kelvin asked, looking down at him. "When you held my hand at the Walker Mansion, I knew you had something on your mind."
Sam looked serious. "I have something important to give you."
"What is it?"
Sam pulled the bug out of his pocket.
Kelvin took it. "Where'd you get this?"
"Thessaly slipped it into my pocket when she hugged me," Sam explained. "I noticed but didn't say anything and ran back to you."
If Thessaly gave it to him... it must be evidence!
Kelvin's expression turned serious immediately.
"Is Thessaly in danger? Did she use this method to tell us because she couldn't say it out loud?" Sam asked. "Kelvin, we have to help her!"
Kelvin pressed his lips together, saying nothing.
"Kelvin!" Sam was anxious. "Say something! She's my angel, I have to protect her!"
Kelvin gripped the bug, crouching to look Sam in the eye. "Don't tell anyone about this bug."
"Why?"
"No reason. Just keep it secret. You want to protect Thessaly, right? If you tell everyone about what she gave you, is that protecting her?"
Sam asked, "What should I do then?"
"Stay home and act like nothing happened."
"But I want to do something for Angel Thessaly..."
"What you need to do is nothing." Kelvin patted his shoulder. "I'm going to see Thessaly now. Take care of Mom and Lucy. If they ask about me..."
Sam quickly replied, "I'll say you had an urgent meeting at the office!"
"Smart boy!"
Kelvin praised him, then quickly got into his car.
Sam called out, "Kelvin, I'll be waiting for your news!"
"Alright, you did great today."
Thessaly giving the bug to Sam was a risky move.
If Sam had acted strangely, Brandon, who was watching, would have noticed quickly.
The bug would be destroyed, and Thessaly would be exposed.
With Penelope and the kids there, any conflict could have put them in danger.
Luckily, Sam held it together!
Kelvin's son, indeed!
Kelvin gripped the steering wheel, flooring the gas pedal as he sped towards the Walker Mansion.
Thessaly must be in danger. She wouldn't have taken leave from the set to stay at the Walker Mansion, appearing so utterly exhausted, otherwise.
Had Brandon already taken control of her?
Kelvin turned on the bug, connecting it to Bluetooth. After some static, Brandon's voice came through.
And Thessaly's voice.
On the way to the Walker Mansion, Kelvin listened to the entire recording.
As expected, Brandon hadn't succeeded!
This evidence was perfect!
Kelvin remembered that Brandon had planted the bug in Thessaly's bag, but she had turned it against him, recording his crimes!
Well done!
Finally, Kelvin had solid proof!
Penelope wouldn't have to feel guilty or inferior anymore, and she could see Brandon's true colors!
At the Walker Mansion gate, the security guard was surprised to see Kelvin. "Mr. Davis, you're back."
He had just left, so why was he back?
"I forgot something," Kelvin said calmly. "Came to get it."
The guard quickly responded, "Of course, Mr. Davis. Next time, just let me know, and I can bring it to you."
"No need."
Kelvin hit the gas, driving into the Walker Mansion.
By the time Brandon heard Kelvin was back, Kelvin was already in the foyer!
His footsteps were steady and powerful, exuding an aura of commanding dominance!
"Mr. Davis." Brandon quickly stood up from the couch, looking at him. "What brings you back?"
Brandon was on high alert.
He was still very wary of Kelvin!
"Mr. Davis said he forgot something," the butler explained. "Came to retrieve it..."
Brandon asked, "What did you forget?"
Everyone's eyes were on Kelvin.
Kelvin raised his hand, pointing at Thessaly. "Her."
Brandon's face changed.
"I'm here to take her," Kelvin said, his chin slightly raised, exuding confidence. "Brandon, any objections?"
"Of course I do. Thessaly is my girlfriend, living in my house. What right do you have to take her?"
"Because she wants to come with me."
Brandon looked at Thessaly, asking each word clearly, "You want to go with Mr. Davis?"
Thessaly continued eating, chewing slowly, looking unbothered.
Because, whether the outcome was good or bad, she was ready to face it calmly.
"If I can leave, of course, I want to go," Thessaly said. "Right, Brandon, you understand."
"I don't understand!"
"Mr. Davis is here, and you're still playing dumb?" Thessaly smiled. "Stop deceiving yourself. We all know the truth, so let's be honest."
Brandon clenched his fists.
Kelvin had come back, clearly suspecting something.
But from the moment Kelvin's family arrived at the Walker Mansion to when they left, Brandon hadn't noticed anything unusual!
Thessaly had been in his sight the whole time!
