Chapter 895 Make the Davis Family Restless

Liam raised his cane, his voice trembling with anger. "Do you want me to spell it out, to expose you, and leave you with no dignity?"

"Grandpa, just say it straight. I can't guess, and I don't understand."

"Fine, fine, I'll grant you that!"

With that, Liam pulled out some photos and slammed them onto the table.

The photos were scattered messily across the surface.

"Take a good look at these! What is this?" Liam pointed at the photos. "How could you be caught in such pictures? If Penelope finds out, will this family ever have peace again?"

"They were delivered right to our doorstep. This is a warning, a provocation! If these get out, have you thought about the impact on the Davis family's reputation?"

The more Liam spoke, the angrier he became.

"Penelope is the one you're supposed to marry. You love her that much, and this is how you repay her?"

"Kelvin, you're out of your mind!"

"Have you been living too comfortably? Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you about staying vigilant in times of peace?"

Liam's scolding was relentless, his face turning red with anger.

Kelvin lowered his eyes and glanced at the photos.

He casually pushed them around with his hand. "Grandpa, where did these photos come from?"

"That's not important! What's important is that they show you being intimate with another woman!"

"It is important, Grandpa."

Liam replied, "The butler found them in the mailbox when he went to get the newspaper. He handed them to me, and that's how I found out."

Kelvin's lips curled slightly. "I see."

"So, what are you going to do about this? Are you going to keep it a secret, or use your connections to suppress it?"

Kelvin asked back, "What do you think, Grandpa?"

Liam was furious. "I don't even know what to say to you! Did you cheat? Do you not love Penelope anymore? How can you hide this? How can you suppress it? If she finds out, you'll be the one at fault, and you won't get custody of the kids!"

"Penelope already knows."

"What?"

Kelvin repeated, "Grandpa, Penelope already knows about this. She's seen the photos."

Liam almost lost his breath. "Then, what was her reaction?"

The Davis family was currently stable, harmonious, and thriving, which was exactly what Liam wanted. He couldn't tolerate any mistakes.

So, when he received the photos, he was extremely angry!

During the four years when Penelope was presumed dead, Kelvin had no women around him, staying pure and avoiding any romantic entanglements.

Liam had tried everything to introduce women to him, hoping to continue the Davis family line, but Kelvin refused to touch any of them.

Now that Penelope was back and they had children, he couldn't resist and wanted to cheat!

"I've already explained everything," Kelvin said. "She understands, and I thought this matter was settled."

He hadn't expected Rosewood Manor to receive these photos!

Thinking it over, Kelvin's expression darkened slightly.

The other two elders had come to The King Manor at the same time. Could it be they also received the photos?

This situation was more complicated than Kelvin had initially thought.

The person behind this wasn't just trying to stir up trouble between him and Penelope; they were taking it a step further.

They were determined to use these photos to disrupt the Davis family's peace.

Kelvin had believed that since Penelope trusted him and he wouldn't see Thessaly alone again, the matter would be resolved.

But clearly, there was more to come.

"Explain? Understand?" Liam was baffled. "You didn't cheat? You have no relationship with this woman? The photos are fake?"

"No, the photos are real."

Liam's confusion deepened.

Kelvin clarified, "The photos capture a real moment, but they don't tell the whole story. They were taken by paparazzi to create an illusion of intimacy. The woman in the photos is Thessaly, and Penelope knows her."

"So, it's a misunderstanding?"

"That's right." Kelvin nodded. "A misunderstanding. I already explained and apologized to Penelope, and I promised to keep my distance from other women."

Liam picked up the photos and scrutinized them.

He slowly realized, "Someone deliberately took these photos and sent them to you, but you and Penelope didn't take them to heart and became even closer. So, the photos were sent to me?"

"Yes."

"This person wanted to use me to stir things up." Liam frowned. "I received the photos early this morning and came over immediately. I didn't expect to run into Dr. Johnson and Mrs. Wright. So..."

Liam and Kelvin spoke in unison, "They also received the photos."

"No wonder." Liam sighed repeatedly. "I was puzzled why everyone was heading to The King Manor so early. I thought it was a coincidence, but it was too much of a coincidence. They didn't mention the photos, and neither did I."

"They probably wanted to talk to Penelope privately, not to start a big argument right away."

Liam nodded. "That must be it. Looks like we all had the same idea."

Kelvin clenched the photos in his hand and then tore them up.

With a few ripping sounds, the photos turned into several pieces, which he threw straight into the trash.

He had a good idea of how the whole thing had happened.

Someone had taken advantage of the night to place these photos at the doors of the Cooper family, the Mitchell family, and Rosewood Manor.

The goal was to have them see the photos and come to The King Manor to question and argue!

But unfortunately, this person had completely miscalculated.

Liam, Connor, and Nicole were not impulsive people and wouldn't start a confrontation right away.

"I think Mom is probably asking Penelope about the photos right now."

Liam said, "It's a good thing everyone chose to handle this privately, to ask about the details first and then decide what to do. If they had come straight to argue, it would have been a noisy mess, and people would have laughed at us!"

Such an argument would ruin their reputation, turning into a spectacle and gossip for others.

By the time they realized the photos didn't show the whole truth, it would be much harder to calm things down.
