Chapter 1011 I Want to Take Thessaly

"Did you hear that?" Kelvin's voice cut through the tension. "Brandon, let her go."

Brandon bristled at Kelvin's commanding tone. "You think just because you say so, I'm gonna let her go? If Thessaly wants to leave with you, should I just let her?" He spat out, his anger palpable. "No way!"

"Thessaly works for Davis Group. It's only right that she comes with me."

"I'm her boyfriend!" Brandon shot back.

Kelvin chuckled, and Thessaly joined in. Only Brandon remained defiant.

Their laughter twisted Brandon's face with rage and embarrassment. Was Kelvin really going to reveal his hand?

But with what would he lay bare the truth? Thessaly was in his grasp, and he hadn't left any evidence for Kelvin to use against him.

"Brandon, Thessaly is loyal to me and Penelope. She won't be swayed by your sweet talk or bribes," Kelvin said. "You should know that by now."

"And I know exactly why you're after Thessaly. But she's not Isabella. She won't lose her mind and life over you."

"It's all out in the open now, Brandon. Today, Thessaly is leaving the Walker Mansion with me. No exceptions."

Brandon laughed bitterly. "Kelvin, you're done pretending, huh? Thessaly is still putting up a front!"

"I'm acting," Thessaly said. "I don't have Mr. Davis's power or resources. I had to lower myself to stay by your side, to appease you. But now that Mr. Davis is here, what do I have to fear?"

Brandon's fury intensified. He had suspected Thessaly's disloyalty, but hearing her admit it so bluntly made him even angrier.

"Thessaly, I've told you before, being Kelvin's spy is nothing compared to being my wife!"

"You say you want to marry me, but it's just to placate me temporarily. Who knows if you'll actually marry me? And even if you do, who knows if I'll get half of your assets?"

Brandon nodded repeatedly. "Fine, fine! Thessaly, Kelvin, you two are teaming up, huh? You've laid your cards on the table, but so what? What can you do to me? I won't let Thessaly go. This is the Walker Mansion, my territory!"

Kelvin might be powerful, but he couldn't cause trouble in the Walker Mansion.

Brandon signaled, and several bodyguards rushed in, surrounding Thessaly.

Kelvin stood alone, without any backup.

Thessaly remained calm, as if she didn't see the bodyguards around her. She put down her fork and sighed. Such a waste of a good meal.

Kelvin's expression remained indifferent, showing no sign of concern. He looked at Brandon with cold eyes.

Brandon had been causing trouble in secret for a long time because he didn't have the strength to confront Kelvin directly.

"Mr. Davis, why don't you just leave?" Brandon said with a smug grin. "You came alone, so leave alone."

Kelvin's smile widened, his presence even more imposing. It felt like this wasn't the Walker Mansion, but his own domain.

"If I dared to come alone, it's because I'm confident I can take Thessaly with me," Kelvin replied. "Brandon, do you really think you can stop me?"

Kelvin had noticed Thessaly's condition long ago. Her haggard appearance and pale face couldn't be hidden by makeup. She had clearly been mistreated by Brandon.

But with Penelope and the kids present, Kelvin had kept quiet and suggested leaving early. He couldn't let his family get involved or face this situation.

So, Kelvin had planned to send them back to his place before coming back.

Unexpectedly, Sam had given him a surprise by handing him a listening device.

Kelvin had prepared thoroughly for this confrontation. In LA, no one could challenge him.

"Let's see if you can stop me," Brandon said. "Kelvin, you're too confident!"

Brandon looked around, confirming if Kelvin was really alone. Kelvin was too smart and cunning; he might have a backup plan.

"Stop looking. I'm alone," Kelvin said, easily reading Brandon's thoughts. "Dealing with you, I'm more than enough."

Brandon sneered. "Alright, let's see how you take Thessaly away today!"

He signaled, and the bodyguards restrained Thessaly, holding her tightly.

Thessaly didn't resist, remaining calm because she trusted Kelvin unconditionally.

Kelvin looked at Brandon with disdain. "I wish Penelope could see you now."

To see the true face of the friend she trusted and treated like family.

"Why didn't you bring her then?" Brandon retorted. "Why come back to the Walker Mansion alone?"

"I'm sparing you some dignity, Brandon."

"What a joke! You, Kelvin, sparing me dignity?" Brandon scoffed. "You'd love to see me destroyed!"

Kelvin spoke calmly. "To Penelope, you're an important person. If she knew your true nature, she'd be heartbroken. And I don't want her to be sad. So..."

"Brandon," Kelvin's gaze fixed on him, "you still have a chance to turn back. I can give you that chance. Don't be ungrateful."

Brandon laughed loudly. Did he need Kelvin to give him a chance? What a joke!

"Stop with the righteous talk," Brandon pointed at Kelvin. "You just don't have any evidence against me, so you're pretending to give me a chance!"

Kelvin remained silent.

Thessaly, however, smiled. "We already have the evidence."

"What are you talking about?" Brandon's face changed suddenly.

"I've been by your side all this time to gather evidence," Thessaly said. "And just now, I transferred the evidence out of the Walker Mansion. Mr. Davis, you should have it by now."
