Chapter 794 Kelvin, I Need to Use the Bathroom
Sam suddenly put on a sullen face, "Yeah, I look like this now, not cool or handsome at all."
Although the father and son argued like enemies every day, Kelvin was never stingy with praise when it was due.
"You were very cool and handsome when you stood up to save Penelope, risking yourself for her."
"Of course," Sam suddenly became proud again, "A man has to protect the ones he loves the most!"
Kelvin's lips curled into a barely noticeable smile, which quickly flattened out.
Though mischievous and playful, he was still just a kid.
"Penelope and I discussed it. We'll tell Lucy that you got hurt because you accidentally fell. Are you okay with that reason?" Kelvin asked.
Even if he wasn't okay with it, he had to be!
Otherwise, what other reason could there be?
Sam thought for a moment, "Can we say someone caused me to fall, not that I fell on my own? That way, I seem smarter and more dignified!"
"Sure."
"Alright," Sam finally agreed.
He began the long wait for Lucy's arrival.
He was bored, not knowing what to do.
Watching TV would disturb Kelvin's work.
Not watching TV, should he just lie there counting?
Previously, Penelope would only be out for a short while, and Sam could manage to pass the time.
This time, it was taking longer, and problems arose.
He had just eaten and now needed to use the bathroom.
Sam kept glancing over at Kelvin.
When he looked at Kelvin, Kelvin slowly spoke, "Are you mesmerized by my handsomeness?"
His narcissism was definitely inherited!
"You are indeed handsome, but compared to me, you're still a bit lacking," Sam said. "Kelvin, I need to tell you something."
"Go ahead."
"I need to use the bathroom."
Kelvin's hands paused on the keyboard.
What did he just hear?
"I need to use the bathroom!" Sam repeated, "I can't hold it any longer! I'm going to wet the bed soon!"
Kelvin was stunned.
Taking a kid to the bathroom?
He had never done such a thing!
"Hurry up," Sam urged, "I really can't hold it."
Kelvin hesitated for a few seconds, then closed his file and stood up, "I..."
"Carry me to the bathroom."
"I'll call the nurse," Kelvin said, reaching for the call button.
"Wait!" Sam quickly stopped him, "No way!"
"Why not?"
"The nurse is a girl, and I'm a boy," Sam's face turned red, "I'm embarrassed."
It was rare to see him shy!
But if the nurse couldn't help, then Kelvin had to do it himself!
"Hurry up!" Sam urged again, "I'm really about to pee!"
Kelvin walked to the bedside, carefully avoiding his injuries, and picked him up.
In the bathroom.
Sam looked at Kelvin.
Kelvin looked at Sam.
"Why are you looking at me?" Sam blinked, "Help me take off my pants."
Kelvin complied.
Sam was really desperate; as soon as his pants were down, he started peeing.
Almost peed on Kelvin's hand!
Kelvin had a cleanliness obsession! He couldn't stand a speck of dust, let alone pee!
Kelvin kept repeating in his mind, 'He's my own child.'
Sam was very satisfied, "I almost burst. Alright, Kelvin, help me put my pants back on."
Kelvin glanced at him.
"I can't move, otherwise I wouldn't ask you," Sam said, "When I was two, I could take care of myself!"
Kelvin silently helped him put his pants back on.
Just as he finished, Sam suddenly said, "Wait a minute!"
"What now?"
"I need to poop."
Was this a divine punishment?
Kelvin just helped him pee, now he had to help him poop!
Seeing Kelvin's speechless expression, Sam looked at him innocently, "What's wrong? This is normal, it means I have good digestion!"
Kelvin continued to repeat in his mind, 'He's my own child. If you have a child, you have to raise them. Raising a child is a journey of cultivation, stay calm, relaxed, and take it all in stride!'
After coming out of the bathroom, Kelvin, who hadn't smoked in a long time, went to the smoking room and smoked two whole cigarettes to calm down.
Sam must be a divine punishment, definitely!
However, this was just the beginning.
Sam kept saying he was thirsty and needed water, then that his wounds hurt.
Kelvin was busy running back and forth, unable to leave him alone.
After all the fuss, his biggest realization was that Penelope had it really tough all these years!
Kelvin wiped Sam's body with a towel, "How do you feel now? Still sticky?"
"Much better."
He sneered, "It's rare to get a compliment from you."
"Just barely," Sam said, "I can tell you're inexperienced, first time doing this. But overall, not bad, keep it up."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome, but compared to Mom, you're still far behind, keep working on it."
Kelvin turned and walked away.
"Kelvin," Sam watched him, "When you get old, can't move, have a stroke or are paralyzed, I'll take care of you like this. Don't feel unbalanced."
Hearing this, Kelvin stumbled and almost tripped himself.
"Stroke? Paralyzed?" he asked, "Can't you wish me something good?"
"Anyway, it means you'll be bedridden and unable to move. The reason doesn't matter."
Sam felt quite satisfied, "I'm a good son, right?"
Kelvin rubbed his temples.
He suddenly wanted to go back to the office.
Fortunately, familiar footsteps approached from outside.
Penelope finally returned, bringing Lucy with her!
Sure enough, as soon as the door opened, Lucy ran in, "Daddy!"
That sweet childlike voice was like music to Kelvin's ears! Heavenly music!
It could dissolve the inexplicable frustration in his heart!
Daughters were the best!
Daughters were little angels!
"Daddy, you're here too," Lucy said, "It must have been hard taking care of Sam alone."
"Not hard at all." Kelvin once again wondered why he had a son.
Two daughters would be so much better.
