Penelope found Brandon's words ridiculous.
"Your love means destroying me, so I can only stay by your side, dependent on you, becoming your pet, right?"
"Whatever Kelvin can give you, I can give you too, Penelope!"
Penelope shook her head firmly. "No, what he gives me, you, Brandon, can never give in this lifetime!"
