Chapter 826 All Yours, I Am Yours Too

Everyone else bolted out of there like their pants were on fire, scared they'd get roped into staying!

Tina swallowed hard. "Mr. Davis, are you unhappy with my work today?"

"Quite the opposite."

Tina was taken aback. "Then why did you ask me to stay?"

"To talk about work." Kelvin's demeanor softened, losing the earlier intensity. He looked more relaxed. "If Silk Haven keeps going like this, it'll soon be living off its past glory. We need a game plan."

Tina racked her brain for ideas. "Maybe hire more designers? Especially fresh grads who don't have much experience yet. Their spending habits and tastes might align better with Silk Haven's style."

"No. Silk Haven's style is about creating high-end designs using affordable materials like sterling silver and rhinestones. The materials are cheap, but the designs are classic and timeless."

Tina was stumped.

Silk Haven's style was somewhat reminiscent of Penelope's.

But Penelope wouldn't take on designing for such an affordable brand.

Penelope was the chief designer for "Adoring Cupid"!

Tina couldn't help but glance at Penelope repeatedly, unsure of what to say.

She felt like she was caught in the middle, stuck between Kelvin and Penelope!

Silence.

The room fell completely quiet.

Kelvin kept his gaze on Penelope, his eyebrows slightly raised, looking composed.

Finally.

"Alright, enough beating around the bush," Penelope spoke up. "Kelvin, throughout the meeting, you've been subtly hinting at me. Those comments were meant for me, weren't they?"

"Really? Penelope, you're overthinking it."

He was still pretending!

Penelope couldn't keep up the act anymore!

She had to admit it, or Kelvin would keep bringing up Molly in their future work!

"Just say it," Penelope said, looking at him. "You want me to admit that I'm Molly, right?"

"Bang!"

Tina knocked over the chair behind her.

She froze, awkwardly smiling at Kelvin, stammering, "I, I, I..."

Kelvin raised an eyebrow.

"Tina, I am Molly. I designed those pieces for Silk Haven. During the four years I was away from LA, I relied on this job to support my family and raise my two kids!"

"This, this, this..."

Was she supposed to hear this?

It felt like a major secret!

No wonder Kelvin kept mentioning Silk Haven and Molly earlier. He was talking to Penelope!

Tina finally understood.

"I knew those designs looked so much like yours. I didn't expect it actually to be you, Penelope, haha." Tina said. "Well, you and Mr. Davis can continue your conversation. I'll be going now."

She didn't want to get involved in their marital issues!

Kelvin's tone was strange; she couldn't handle it.

Penelope, good luck!

Kelvin naturally didn't keep Tina.

The room was left with just him and Penelope.

"What do you want?" Penelope frowned. "Reveal that I'm Molly?"

"Do I seem that petty?"

"Yes."

Kelvin squinted. "Penelope, when will you understand my good intentions?"

"In which universe are these good intentions?"

He stood up, walked over to her, and crossed his arms. "Why do you think I bought Silk Haven?"

Silk Haven's performance was peanuts compared to the massive Davis Group.

It was like pocket change.

But Kelvin not only acquired it, he managed it and occasionally checked in.

Why did he care so much?

It was all for Penelope!

"Oh..." Penelope's eyes lit up. "I get it. You want to hand over the brand to me, right?"

"Actually, Adoring Cupid is yours too. But Adoring Cupid is already established, with tons of employees. Managing it would be exhausting for you. Managing Silk Haven would be much easier."

Kelvin knew she was independent and strong-willed. She wouldn't be content living as a wealthy housewife in The King Manor, nor would she want to be a full-time mom living a leisurely life.

After a pause, Kelvin added, "It's all yours. The Davis Group is yours. I'm yours too."

Penelope looked at him with disdain.

Her expression displeased Kelvin.

He leaned forward, one hand on the table in front of her, looking down at her. "What?"

"You're really good at giving a slap and then a candy," Penelope said. "You blame me for hiding my identity as Molly, but then you hand over Silk Haven to me."

"There's no conflict."

Penelope snorted, glaring at him. "I'll manage Silk Haven. But you can't bring up my identity as Molly again, and you can't be mad anymore!"

Kelvin raised his hand, stroking her chin. "You can do it, but I can't say it?"

"Exactly!"

"You've really been spoiled by me," Kelvin whispered. "Now you can't handle any grievances."

"That's right," Penelope nodded. "You know it's your fault, so you have to accept my bad temper!"

Indeed, under Kelvin's indulgence and pampering, her little quirks and temper had become more pronounced.

A little dissatisfaction, and she'd dare to show him an attitude!

Being favored really made her fearless!

Kelvin slightly lifted her chin. "You did something wrong, and you still want to throw a tantrum at me?"

"I can apologize." Penelope looked at him. "I'll sincerely apologize, and you have to genuinely forgive me."

"That's not happening."

"Kelvin!"

He had a "what can you do about it" look. "Penelope, if I let this go easily..."

There wouldn't be another chance!

And it wouldn't be her coaxing him; he'd have to go to great lengths to please her!

Right now, Kelvin could still act a bit proud, deliberately putting on a stern face, waiting for her to come cheerfully to coax him.

That feeling was great and rare.

He definitely wanted to enjoy it more!

"So that's your plan," Penelope said. "Then let me be clear, Kelvin. If you keep messing with me, Sam will never change how he addresses you. He'll keep calling you Kelvin!"

"How does our issue involve him?"

"Because he's on my side." Penelope showed a bit of smugness. "As long as you let go of the past and let me take charge, Sam will immediately call you Dad!"

Kelvin responded calmly, "Our home has always been yours to run. We've discussed this."
