Chapter 906 Women All Fall for This

"Love is beautiful," Penelope said, "just like your name."

Monica smiled at her.

As Penelope walked out of the office, she caught Timothy's eager gaze.

If he wasn't worried Monica would notice, he would've rushed over to ask her right away!

Penelope returned to her desk.

"How'd it go?" Timothy asked, practically bouncing. "Did you find out anything?"

Penelope's eyes sparkled. "How did you confess to Monica back then?"

"Well, just like that."

Timothy was confused. How many ways could there be to confess?

"Just with words?" Penelope asked. "Nothing else?"

"And myself," Timothy added.

Penelope couldn't help but roll her eyes.

Why didn't he mention his sincere heart?

"Where are all your old tricks? Use them!" Penelope said. "When you and Monica were dating for that month, didn't you send her flowers every day? You were quite the charmer back then. Why have you stopped now?"

Timothy fell silent.

Penelope continued, "Why aren't you doing anything now? Just relying on words?"

"Back then..." Timothy coughed and explained, "We were already a couple, even if it was just for a month. I could give her anything."

"You can give her things now."

"But under what pretense? She hasn't agreed to be with me. I'm not anyone to her."

Penelope was stunned by his logic.

"Timothy, are you saying you can't give her flowers because you don't have a title?"

"Not exactly," Timothy thought for a moment but couldn't find the right words.

Penelope said, "The less of a title you have, the more you need to show your affection! Do you want a title? How about the pursuer? Or a future boyfriend? Do you need a title to do certain things? You're being foolish!"

"You need to pursue Monica aggressively, not just with words but with actions!"

Timothy replied, "I did take action. I confessed."

"Confessing is just talking. What actions have you taken? Going to The King Manor counts as action?"

"Then what should I do?"

Timothy was confused.

Despite his usual ease with women, where he seemed to handle everything effortlessly, those were just casual flings. He never put his heart into it.

A few casual words and his charm could easily handle a crowd of women.

But now, he was seriously pursuing Monica. Subconsciously, he felt those casual tricks wouldn't work on her.

She was different from other women.

She was unique. She was precious.

Penelope looked him up and down, then clicked her tongue. "I thought you were much better than Kelvin. Turns out, when it comes to the real thing, you're still a novice."

No wonder they were friends.

Kelvin didn't know how to pursue women, neither on the surface nor in reality.

Timothy, on the other hand, seemed like a ladies' man but was clueless.

Comparatively, Timothy had it worse.

Because Kelvin didn't know how any sweet words he said would make a woman feel special.

Timothy, however, if his tricks were too cliché, women would think he wasn't sincere.

"I've got an idea for you. Just go for it," Penelope said, motioning him closer. "On the last night of the three-day deadline Monica gave you, ask her out..."

She and Timothy whispered excitedly, their conversation growing more animated.

The more Timothy listened, the more puzzled he looked, his frown deepening.

"Got it?" Penelope snapped her fingers. "Of course, this is just a rough suggestion. If you have a better idea, go for it! It might work even better!"

"Will this work?"

"It will! Trust me, women love it!"

Timothy rubbed his chin. "If Kelvin pursued you like this, would you be moved?"

Penelope replied, "As long as the woman has even a little interest in you, she will be moved. Unless she doesn't like you at all or dislikes you."

"Let me think."

"Women love romance and will fall for the person who creates it," Penelope said with a smile. "Go ahead, pursue her, prepare for it. If you need my help, Mr. Foster, just ask!"

Timothy was still frowning, deep in thought.

After a while, he leaned in mysteriously.

Penelope leaned in too. "What's up? Still confused about something?"

"Has Kelvin ever pursued you like this?"

"No."

Timothy pressed, "Then, what's the most romantic thing he's done for you?"

This question stumped Penelope.

Kelvin was a man with very low emotional intelligence, completely clueless about women's thoughts.

But she had witnessed his small changes, all because he loved her.

He would prepare candlelit dinners.

He would give her flowers and gifts, and even an unlimited credit card.

He would say "I love you."

He even talked about buying the naming rights to a planet and calling it "Vesper Davis."

Those were Kelvin's grand romantic gestures.

And the small ones?

He would warm her hands.

He would cover her with a blanket when she kicked it off at night.

He remembered what she liked and disliked.

"What's the matter? Has Kelvin never done anything romantic?" Timothy asked. "Can't think of anything? Well, it's understandable, he always..."

Penelope interrupted, "No, he's done a lot."

But if she had to choose the most romantic thing, Penelope found it difficult.

Whether grand or small, they were all his expressions of love for her.

Why choose the most romantic one?

Every romantic moment was his love for her.

"Then why can't you answer? No most memorable one?" Timothy asked. "I want to make sure Monica has the most unforgettable memory, something she'll never forget!"

He was full of confidence, ready to go all out!

Penelope looked at him helplessly. "Mr. Foster, with that one sentence, you've revealed your severe lack of romantic experience."

How did he reveal that?

"For women, the most memorable moments might not be the grand romantic gestures you meticulously plan, but the small, unintentional acts in daily life."

Women were detail-oriented creatures.

Timothy seemed to understand but not fully.

It made sense, but he hadn't grasped the essence.
