Chapter 991 Your Two Children Are So Adorable

Kelvin raised an eyebrow. "So, he wasn't a fan of me?"

"You were more like a puzzle he couldn't figure out whether to like or not."

Kelvin snorted, amused.

"Is this Thessaly?" Lucy asked, her eyes wide as she looked at Thessaly. "Her eyes are so big and bright, her skin's perfect, she's really beautiful."

Thessaly giggled, covering her face with her hands. "Keep it up, and I'll turn into a shy little thing."

Sam jumped in, "Do angels even get shy?"

"Sure they do," Thessaly said, giving Sam's head a playful pat. "Hey, Sam. Nice to meet you. You're even cuter than in the pictures."

Sam puffed up his chest, striking a pose. "Well, duh, I'm handsome and cool."

"Lucy, you're a real cutie too," Thessaly said, smiling at Lucy. "Such a sweet little princess."

Lucy asked, "Thessaly, will I be as pretty as you when I grow up?"

Thessaly's beauty was so admired by the kids; it was obvious how stunning she was. In the entertainment world, her looks were unmatched. That's why, when picking a spokesperson for Adoring Cupid, Penelope immediately thought of Thessaly. No wonder they were family; they had the same taste!

"Lucy, when you grow up, you'll be even prettier than me," Thessaly said with a warm smile, pinching her cheek and lifting her up. "Your voice is so sweet. I wonder which lucky guy will marry you someday."

Seeing this, Sam quickly spread his arms wide. "Thessaly, I want a hug too!"

Kelvin couldn't help but turn away, shaking his head. 'I want a hug too. —Is that something a guy should say? Sam usually doesn't act like this. It's just... wow!'

Brandon was also taken aback by how much Sam and Lucy adored Thessaly. He chuckled, "You two are all about Thessaly now, huh? What about me?"

Sam and Lucy replied in unison, "No way!"

"Uncle Brandon, we came here just to see you today."

"Yeah, Uncle Brandon, you look even more handsome since the last time we saw you!"

"Only someone as handsome as you could find someone as beautiful as Thessaly!"

These kids sure knew how to butter you up.

Brandon opened his arms. "Now, you both want Thessaly to hold you, but she's a girl and not that strong. Who's gonna let me hold them?"

Sam and Lucy exchanged glances, neither budging.

"Lucy, you go."

"Sam, why don't you go?"

Thessaly couldn't stop laughing.

"Penelope, your kids are too cute. I'm so jealous of you... having them around all the time, chatting and bickering. You must be dizzy with happiness."

Penelope replied, "They can be quite a handful when they get rowdy."

"They're not rowdy; they're so well-behaved and fun."

"You've just met them. You'll see over time," Penelope said. "I didn't expect you to be such a fan of kids."

Thessaly nodded. "They're so adorable, of course, I like them."

"You could have your own," Penelope teased, winking. "Go for it."

Thessaly's smile faltered for a moment, but quickly bounced back.

Brandon dropped his arms, sighing dramatically. "You say you miss me, but you're both glued to Thessaly and won't let me hold you."

"Uncle Brandon," Sam said, "we've seen you tons of times, but today's our first time meeting Thessaly, so it's special!"

"But you call her an angel and me Uncle... is that fair?" Brandon teased. "She's my girlfriend."

Sam mulled it over. Should he call him Angelic Brandon?

That sounded weird; it felt off.

"What do I do?" Sam looked puzzled. "Stick with Uncle Brandon or switch to Angelic Brandon?"

Lucy was deep in thought, too.

"It's cool, call him whatever you want," Thessaly said. "He won't mind."

"Your Uncle Brandon's just messing with you, don't sweat it."

Brandon feigned seriousness. "I'm totally serious. Are you two saying I'm not handsome enough?"

Before they could sort that out, Penelope jumped in to stir the pot.

"Sam, Lucy," Penelope asked, "do you like Thessaly so much you call her an angel?"

"Yeah, Mom, she's so pretty, like a perfect doll."

"Don't you think she's beautiful?"

"Beautiful," Penelope said. "But is she prettier than me?"

Sam and Lucy froze.

This question... was a real brain-buster!

It was like the "Trolley Problem" dilemma!

Lucy went silent.

Sam avoided eye contact with Penelope.

Penelope sighed dramatically, "I worked so hard to bring you into this world, raise you, send you to school, help with homework, and yet... never once have I heard you call me an angel."

"Okay, okay, we'll call you now," Sam quickly said. "You're our angel mom!"

Lucy chimed in, "Yes, Mom, you've always been an angel, no doubt about it."

Penelope couldn't help but laugh, leaning against Kelvin's shoulder. It was tough for them to come up with that answer.

Kelvin wrapped his arm around her waist, leaned down to her ear, and whispered, "In my heart, you've always been an angel. My angel Penelope, my angel darling."

Even though it was a bit cheesy, Penelope found it comforting.

Thessaly held Sam's hand in one and Lucy's in the other, her face glowing with happiness. She hadn't felt this joyful in ages. It wasn't about being called an angel; it was because the kids were just so lovable.

"Alright, Brandon, Penelope, stop putting the kids on the spot," Thessaly said. "They're almost speechless."

Penelope replied, "I'm just sharpening their quick thinking and adaptability."

Brandon added, "You're my girlfriend, they call me Uncle, and you an angel. Can't I be a little jealous?"

"Angelic Brandon," Sam quickly switched gears. "You're so lucky and happy. How'd you win over angel Thessaly?"

"So, you want me to spill my secrets?"
