His fingernail grazed Thessaly's cheek. "How about messing up that pretty face of hers?"
Thessaly stayed stone-faced.
Kelvin didn't flinch. "If you mess her up, you're messing yourself up, too. Think Penelope won't notice the scars? How are you gonna explain that?"
"Stop using Penelope to get to me!"

Brandon went quiet, thinking it over.
Keeping Thessaly captive wasn't a long-term plan.
Thessaly had already made it clear she was on Kelvin's side and wouldn't be of any use to him.
He could control her for a day, but what about after that? What was the next move?
Would he just sit back and watch Kelvin hand over the recordings to Penelope, exposing all his sordid deeds?

"Hahaha," Brandon suddenly laughed. "Kelvin, oh Kelvin, and Thessaly, you two really think I'm out of cards to play, don't you?"

Brandon lifted Thessaly's chin. "There's something I forgot to mention. That night, I didn't just hand you over to Paul. I also took some photos and videos."

Thessaly shook her head. "No..."
"It's settled," Kelvin interrupted her firmly.
Brandon laughed. "Alright, I do appreciate your forthright nature! Kelvin, keep your word. If Penelope finds out, I guarantee that within an hour, Thessaly and Paul's photos will be all over the internet!"
Kelvin nodded. "Deal."
