Chapter 908 Not Satisfied

Wearing a pristine white wedding dress, holding a bouquet, walking down the aisle in front of friends and family, and finally reaching him to place her hand in his.

From that moment on, they would face all of life's storms together, never parting.

"What kind of wedding do you want?" Kelvin asked. "I'll get someone to start planning it."

Penelope blinked. "Are you serious about having another wedding?"

"Yeah, I am."

Just a moment ago, Penelope had been complaining, but now that Kelvin was serious, she felt a bit timid.

She had only been speaking off the cuff, not really having any specific demands.

But Kelvin always took her words to heart, remembering them seriously.

Penelope looked into Kelvin's eyes. "To me, a wedding is something to look forward to, it's romantic, but it's just a ceremony. It's important, but not necessary."

"Penelope?" Kelvin raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Did she mean she didn't want another wedding?

Penelope laughed. "Life is about our own experiences, not about showing off to others. As long as we're together and connected, it doesn't matter if we have a wedding or not. Kelvin, I already feel very happy now."

All of LA knew she was happy.

Penelope enjoyed Kelvin's unique affection, had two adorable and smart kids, and was living a dream life!

A grand, luxurious wedding would just be the cherry on top.

She could take it or leave it.

Kelvin understood her meaning and sighed indulgently.

Most people would complain about not getting enough.

But she was always so easily satisfied.

Penelope held his hand. "I don't lack anything now. I have everything I need. As long as we're together forever, that's my greatest happiness."

"Then, having a wedding would be to let everyone witness your happiness." He suggested.

"That's too flashy and high-profile, it might attract jealousy," Penelope said. "Remember why Isabella targeted me in the first place?"

It all started with that priceless crown.

Kelvin had bought it for her, and the seeds of jealousy and resentment had taken root in Isabella's heart.

Kelvin shook his head repeatedly. "What am I going to do with you? You say I don't do enough, so I try to improve. But when I do, you say it's unnecessary."

"Yeah, women are like that. Not satisfied?" Penelope huffed playfully. "What can you do? You chose me, so you have to spoil me."

He smirked and pulled her chair closer to his.

Penelope gasped softly as the wheels rolled, bringing their chairs side by side.

Kelvin wanted to pull her into his arms, but Penelope was quicker, placing her hand on his chest.

"What?" he grumbled. "I can't even hug you?"

"This is the jewelry department, not your private CEO office."

They had to be mindful of appearances.

Talking was fine, but no funny business!

"Okay," Kelvin said. "Then let's go back to the office."

"No," Penelope quickly refused. "You should get back to work. I have designs to draw."

They couldn't be glued to each other all day.

"Are you kicking me out?" Kelvin asked. "You chat away with Timothy, but have nothing to say to me?"

Penelope smiled sweetly. "You're the busy Mr. Davis. It's an honor you can spare ten minutes for me. If you're free, go to the front desk and check the appointment list. Ten minutes, you could see three people."

"They're not worth my time."

"Then being here with me is wasting your time."

Kelvin replied calmly, "I'm happy to waste my time on you."

Penelope's heart melted.

Being treated as special, as unique, felt wonderful.

"Alright," she said, quickly pecking his lips. "I'll come find you before we leave, and we'll go home together."

Kelvin didn't move.

She kissed him again.

Only then did Kelvin slowly get up.

"Bye-bye." Penelope waved, looking adorably playful.

He suddenly remembered something and leaned in close to her ear. "Penelope, your period should be ending soon, right?"

Her smile froze.

"I've been keeping track," Kelvin reminded her. "Don't try to hide it."

At that moment, Penelope wished she could have her period twice a month.

For half a month each time?

What to do with a partner with too much energy? Penelope laughed awkwardly. "It's still not over yet."

"No problem, just a couple more days." Kelvin's voice was deep and magnetic. "Just two days."

Penelope kept her head down, pretending not to hear.

And just then, her phone rang.

She quickly grabbed it, ignoring Kelvin and shifting her focus.

"Hello?"

"Penelope, it's me." Thessaly's voice came through. "Are you busy?"

"Not really, I have some free time now."

Kelvin crossed his arms, standing beside her, lips pursed.

With Kelvin, she had designs to draw.

With someone else, she had free time.

Thessaly asked, "Do you have time tonight? Are you busy? Any night works for me."

"What's up?" Penelope asked. "Do you need something? Or are you inviting me to dinner?"

"You guessed it, inviting you to dinner." Thessaly's voice was full of gratitude. "You and Mr. Davis helped me so much, and I haven't done anything for you. I feel uneasy about it."

"I can't meet Mr. Davis privately, to avoid misunderstandings and causing you trouble. And Mr. Davis is very busy, he wouldn't have time for my dinner."

"Of course, if Mr. Davis can come tonight, I'd be even happier! I wanted to invite both of you."

Penelope smiled. "No need to be so formal. But I do need to meet you to discuss the endorsement. We need to talk about how to shoot the ad and present it."

Thessaly asked tentatively, "Then, how about tonight? To thank you and discuss business."

"Sure."

Penelope agreed readily.

After hanging up, she noticed Kelvin was still standing there.

"Why are you still here?" she said. "Everyone says you're a busy man, but with me, you become a loafer."

"Thessaly invited you to dinner tonight?"

"Yes, you heard." Penelope tugged at his sleeve. "Want to come along?"
