Chapter 902 The First Plan Has Completely Failed

Penelope was already over the moon.

Who could resist getting a star as a gift?

And it was a real star from the sky!

How romantic was that?

There would always be a star in the universe named after her and Kelvin's love.

Even years later, when they were no longer in this world, that star would still shine brightly!

"It's settled then," Kelvin said. "We'll call it Vesper Davis."

He always wanted to share the best things with Penelope.

Penelope snuggled into his arms. "Do you think Sam will feel like we're copying him? He wanted the naming rights to a star, and now we got one too."

"He'll name his, and we'll name ours," Kelvin said. "No big deal."

"If we get this gift, I bet Sam will finally call you Dad."

Kelvin raised an eyebrow. "He'll call me that eventually. Let him be proud for now; I'm not in a rush."

"I'm so happy," Penelope looked up at him. "A gift from the stars, just like that."

"You'll love it even more when you see it through a telescope."

Among the countless stars, there would always be one that belonged to them.

"I love it. Kelvin, anything you give me, I love."

Sometimes, it was not the gift itself but the thought behind it that mattered.

The two of them quietly embraced, without any other intimate gestures.

But everyone at The King Manor could feel the sweet love radiating from Kelvin and Penelope.

No one dared to interrupt them.

When two people are truly in love, just standing together feels perfectly harmonious.

Happiness and joy were written all over their faces.

Meanwhile, half a mile from The King Manor, a low-key black car was parked by the roadside.

Brandon sat in the driver's seat, his usual gentle demeanor completely gone, replaced by a dark, brooding mood.

"Why, why the hell!"

He muttered curses under his breath, slamming his fist onto the steering wheel.

He was unwilling to accept this!

After going through so much trouble to get exclusive photos from a tabloid reporter, he thought he could cause a fight between Kelvin and Penelope.

Even if it didn't break them up, it should at least create some tension. But nothing happened.

So, Brandon had the intimate photos of Kelvin and Thessaly sent to Liam, Connor, and Nicole!

As Brandon hoped, the three of them were visibly shocked and rushed to The King Manor immediately!

He thought there would be a good show to watch!

He waited for any commotion from The King Manor.

But nothing happened!

Soon after, the three elders left The King Manor, even smiling.

Why did things never go as he wished, and why was the reality so different from his expectations?

The photos didn't have the desired effect at all. It was all for nothing!

Brandon slammed the steering wheel several more times.

"No matter." His expression gradually turned cold. "There's always next time, another chance. This was just a practice run!"

Brandon learned a lesson from this.

It seemed that small schemes weren't enough to shake Kelvin and Penelope's relationship.

They had years of history, had been through too much together, and their trust in each other was rock solid. Plus, they had a child and were committed life partners.

It looked like he needed to devise a grander plan.

His phone suddenly rang.

Brandon grabbed it. "Hello."

"Mr. Walker," his assistant said. "You have a meeting with the director at nine this morning. It's almost time. Will you make it, or should I ask the director to wait?"

"I'll be there soon."

"Okay, Mr. Walker."

"And," Brandon added with a smile, "ask the director to bring Thessaly along to discuss the lead role."

"Yes, sir."

Brandon tossed his phone onto the passenger seat and started the car, heading to The Walker Corporation.

Since the first plan had failed, he had to move on to the next step!

Brandon couldn't wait. He couldn't stand seeing Kelvin and Penelope's continued happiness!

The sooner he acted, the sooner he could have Penelope!

Not long after Brandon's car left, Kelvin's car drove out of The King Manor, heading to Davis Group.

The two cars passed without any interaction.

Meanwhile, Thessaly was at Davis Group.

Ryan and the legal team were handling her contract.

Her agent sat nearby, grinning obsequiously. "Thessaly, congratulations. From now on, you're with Davis Group. Who else in the entertainment industry has such a strong backing?"

"Thank you."

This agent was a well-known figure in the industry, having managed many top stars.

Many artists took pride in being under his management, believing that he could make them famous and secure their place in the entertainment world.

This made the agent very selective and temperamental.

And he was very authoritative.

Whatever he said was final, and his artists couldn't refuse.

If they did, they wouldn't get any good opportunities in the future.

Now, this famous agent was fawning over Thessaly.

Thessaly found it ironic.

How hypocritical this person was.

The agent continued, "Even though you're not under my management anymore, we've worked together for a long time. When you become a big star, don't forget about me!"

Thessaly had to respond with feigned politeness. "Of course. I'll always remember what you've done for me."

"In the entire entertainment industry, there's no one luckier than you."

Being noticed by Mr. Davis, chosen, freed from her old contract, and given so many resources.

She was lucky!

Thessaly smiled. "We're in the same industry, plenty of chances to work together. I was worried that since I'm no longer your artist, you wouldn't support me."

"How could that be!" the agent quickly said. "I've always thought you'd be the most famous artist I've ever managed! Look, it's already happening!"

He began to shower Thessaly with praise.

"Thessaly, the president asked me to tell you something. You know, we were your previous company, and we've worked together for so many years, helping you become the star you are today. Davis Group is the top company in LA, with money and resources."
