Chapter 1021 How Could I Have a Romantic Disposition

"But when you meet the right person, and fate brings you together, why bother with all the formalities?"

Timothy's biggest wish right now was to marry Monica as soon as possible.

Only by officially marrying her did he feel he truly had her, giving him a sense of security.

He wanted to marry her.

When a man liked a woman, it was that straightforward and urgent.

So, women didn't need to guess if he liked you, how much he loved you, or how deep his love was... True love was so passionate and fiery that you could clearly feel it!

Penelope thought for a moment. "That's true, but girls tend to think more and have concerns."

"What concerns?" Timothy asked. "Explain it to me. I just don't get what you women are thinking."

Men, no matter how successful they were in their careers, were often quite simple when it came to matters of the heart.

Timothy was like that, and Kelvin was no different.

Timothy furrowed his brow, as if facing a major problem. "You say it takes time, but Monica and I have known each other for years. We know each other's temperaments and personalities inside out. We've been happy together and have gotten along well. Why can't we move towards marriage?"

"The honeymoon phase is always happy, but what about when the novelty wears off?" Penelope asked. "Will you still love her, protect her, and respect her as you do now?"

"I will."

Seeing that Timothy genuinely wanted to marry Monica, Penelope gave him serious advice.

After all, it concerned her best friend's happiness!

"Timothy, dating is between two people, but marriage involves two families. If you want to marry her and she wants to marry you, the first thing you need to do isn't propose. It's... introducing her to your family."

"Bring her home?"

"Yes. See if your family likes her, accepts her, and is satisfied with her. See if she can integrate into your family and feel comfortable and warm."

Timothy suddenly clapped his hands. "Right, why didn't I think of that!"

His mind was filled with thoughts of being lovey-dovey with Monica, enjoying their time together, and he forgot to introduce her to his parents.

Penelope looked at him with disdain. "Does your IQ drop to zero when you're in love?"

"I just don't have experience."

"But you look like... a player."

Timothy didn't understand. "What does 'player' mean?"

He didn't spend much time online, was busy with his career, and didn't understand these trendy terms.

"In simple terms, it means you have many women and are a very romantic man."

"That's a big misunderstanding," Timothy said, spreading his hands. "I'm a pure and innocent man!"

"Who told you to have that vibe?"

"Blame me?" Timothy was helpless and puzzled. "I don't get it. Why do I have this romantic vibe?"

He scratched his head in confusion and looked at Kelvin. "Kelvin, on the other hand, looks like he hasn't touched a woman in eight hundred years."

"Exactly," Penelope nodded repeatedly. "Your romantic vibe gives that first impression, which is why you and Monica have been delayed for so long. You look too much like a player."

Timothy fell silent, furrowing his brow.

"I'll think about it," Timothy said seriously. "I need to plan how to bring her home... She'll definitely be shy. But every bride has to meet the in-laws eventually."

He walked out, so focused that he almost bumped into the door.

His comical appearance made even Kelvin unable to resist mocking him.

"Can you be a bit more dignified?"

Timothy didn't bother responding. "Considering your dear one gave me some good advice, I'll let it slide."

Timothy stepped back, reopened the door, and suddenly chuckled.

He amused himself.

"Men in love have this side too," Penelope watched Timothy's departing figure and couldn't help but sigh. "But when you were with me, I never saw you like this."

Kelvin was always mature and composed, never showing his emotions!

"What side?" he asked. "The silly side that bumps into doors?"

Penelope laughed. "Something like that. It shows... Timothy is seriously and intently planning his future with Monica, so much so that he didn't watch where he was going and almost bumped into the door. Besides, he didn't actually bump into it, he reacted in time."

Kelvin asked again, "Do you think his behavior is normal?"

"Not normal," she shook her head. "But very cute."

Girls were often moved by such contrasts.

If Monica knew and saw this, her heart would be warm and fuzzy.

Usually, Timothy was decisive and independent, but thinking about their future together... he became silly and clumsy.

"Cute?" Kelvin couldn't understand.

Wasn't that just being silly? To put it bluntly, it was dumb!

Since when did dumb become cute?

"Yes, forget it, you simple and emotionally unintelligent person wouldn't understand."

Kelvin nodded. "I really don't."

"It shows that when you first loved me, it wasn't as much as Timothy loves Monica," Penelope said. "You gradually accumulated your love for me, which is why it's so intense now."

"Penelope..." Kelvin pulled her into his arms. "I've done silly things like almost bumping into doors for you, too."

She smiled. "Really? I didn't know. What did you do? Tell me, make me happy!"

Kelvin pursed his lips. "I didn't bump into doors, but I was so eager to chase you that I forgot to put on shoes and ran barefoot from the bedroom to the front door."

Penelope laughed even more.

"Are you satisfied?" He pinched her nose.

"Satisfied! Our wise and mighty Mr. Davis has this side too!"

People in love were blind.

If you were not blind, it only meant you didn't love enough.

"I can do anything for you, even hand over the entire Davis Group for you to manage, yet you care about some unimportant details..." Kelvin sighed. "A fortune still can't buy your smile."

"Details are what touch the heart."

Compared to the billion-dollar shares, Kelvin's companionship was what mattered most to Penelope.

"Kelvin, whether the shares are in your name or mine, it doesn't matter. Ultimately, they belong to Sam and Lucy. You say you're afraid the Davis family relatives are eyeing them, you say you're afraid of an accident, and the shares falling into someone else's hands. I don't understand, but I follow your arrangements."
