Chapter 75 Fiona lay in his arms.

Kelvin also put away his phone, but his brows still furrowed, unable to relax.

In order to create a romantic atmosphere, Fiona had prepared a candle-lit dinner. Outside, was the LA view, and inside, was a candle-lit Western meal, champagne, red wine, and a beautiful woman. Fiona had changed into a silk strap dress, with the neckline plunging to her chest, very revealing. She sprayed perfume and curled her hair. She had to seduce Mr. Davis into her bed tonight. No more delays.

"Mr. Davis, come, let's cheers," Fiona considerately poured him a glass of red wine. "This is our first dinner together."

Kelvin clinked his glass with hers, then sipped and savored the taste, simply responding with a "Mmhm" to whatever Fiona said, then continued drinking.

Fiona took the initiative to sit beside him. "Mr. Davis, let me serve you."

The strap slipped off her shoulder, and she thought no man could resist such temptation, but Kelvin didn't spare her a second glance.

Feeling indignant, Fiona approached him again. "Mr. Davis, this bottle of red wine is almost finished. Open another one?"

"Do you really want to keep drinking? You might end up drunk."

"If I get drunk, I'll just sleep here," Kelvin's slender finger twirled the wine glass. "I won't go back."

Fiona was instantly delighted. "Alright!"

She enthusiastically poured Kelvin another glass, and before she knew it, they had finished two bottles of wine. There was quite an aftereffect from the alcohol. While drinking, Fiona didn't feel much, but within half an hour, the intoxication began to surge.

"Mr. Davis, let me help you back to your room," Fiona stood up. "You need to rest."

With her support, Kelvin lay down on the bed, his usual deep eyes half-closed, looking exceptionally handsome. Fiona couldn't help but be infatuated. A man this handsome and wealthy, she had to seize the opportunity tonight!

"Mr. Davis, let me change your sleepwear," Fiona said. "Come, let me unbutton for you." Her hand touched Kelvin's Adam's apple.

When she reached the second button, Kelvin suddenly brushed her off. "Get lost."

Fiona paused. "Mr. Davis."

"Leave," he pressed his temple, muttering, "let me be alone."

Fiona wouldn't give up and persisted; "I'll stay with you."

Kelvin waved his hand directly, closed his eyes, and rested.

It was fine. As long as Mr. Davis was still there, she'd still have a chance. No need to rush. After some consideration, Fiona left the room. She still had one ultimate treasure she hadn't used.

It was given to her by the dean, claiming it would make men thirsty, their whole bodies burning. It would prove beneficial for her and Mr. Davis’s relationship.

Fiona rummaged through her things, searching desperately, and when she opened it, she found an aromatic candle.

She gently caressed it and smiled, "Tonight, I must succeed."

In the bedroom, Kelvin's hand groped around for his phone. After finding it, he stared at the screen for a while. After a moment, he found Penelope's name and sent her a voice message.

"After the celebration banquet, come to the Riverside Apartments," he said.

After sending the message, he tossed his phone aside, his intoxication growing stronger.

Penelope did not dare to disobey him, and would come, and when she does, she would have her take him home. These were Kelvin's final thoughts before falling into a deep sleep.

The door lock made a soft sound, and Fiona walked in, holding the scented candles in her hands. The scent was indeed enchanting. She placed the candles on the bedside table, and before long, the whole bedroom was filled with the scent of seduction. Even Fiona couldn't resist the temptation.

"Mr. Davis, let me serve you well tonight."

Kelvin was already in a deep sleep, motionless, allowing Fiona to unbutton his shirt, and unbuckle his belt. Fiona undressed herself, lying beside him, taking his hand and placing it on her waist, nestling in his embrace.

It was late at night, eleven o'clock, when the celebration banquet ended.

"I'll take you back," Monica said. "It's not safe for you to be alone this late."

Penelope smiled and replied, "It's fine. I'll take a taxi. You've had a long day, get some rest too."

"You look so beautiful tonight, I'm worried," Monica said. Penelope chuckled.

When they were shopping, Monica picked out a white, thin-strapped mini skirt for her, accentuating her perfect figure. Coupled with Penelope's natural elegance, it made her look gentle and beautiful. Many guys from the jewelry department took the initiative to strike up conversations with her tonight.

"If you weren't married, some of the guys in our department would be worth considering," Monica winked. "Several of them are interested in you."

Penelope shook her head, saying, "Given my current situation, it's not suitable for me to be in a relationship. Besides, there have been rumors circulating in the company about me and Kelvin, so the good guys are all avoiding me."

She and Kelvin had a secret marriage that was not publicly known, but she frequently went in and out of the president's office, and Ryan personally came to find her on a regular basis, and over time, gossip naturally started to spread.

Penelope pretended not to know about it because she couldn't explain. As she walked out of the hotel, Penelope finally took out her phone and saw the voice message Kelvin had sent.

Go to the Riverside Apartments? Why would she go to Fiona's place at this late hour? Kelvin and Fiona were in love, enjoying their own little world. Did she really want to intrude on that?

But when Kelvin gave an order, she had to obey. If she didn't go, he would unleash his fury again, and so, Penelope hailed a taxi.

Arriving at the entrance of Riverside Apartments, she was about to ring the bell when she noticed that the door was slightly ajar. Without thinking too much, she walked right in.

The apartment was brightly lit, with Kelvin's suit jacket scattered on the living room sofa and unfinished food on the dining table.

"Kelvin?" Penelope called out tentatively, “Where are you?” He called her over, but she couldn't see anyone. What's going on? There was a commotion coming from the bedroom, and Penelope furrowed her brows slightly.

Could it be... Kelvin and Fiona had already gone to sleep? The thought struck her, and suddenly her heart felt like it was being pricked by needles. In her mind, she pictured the scene of the two of them sleeping in each other's arms.

Penelope held her breath and slowly made her way towards the bedroom. The bedroom door was wide open, and standing at the doorway, she could clearly see what was happening inside. Kelvin was deep in sleep on the big bed, his sharp gaze from daytime now replaced with relaxation.

Fiona lay in his arms, her long brown hair spread across his shoulder and chest, creating an intimate and ambiguous scene. Most importantly, neither of them was wearing any clothes; their garments scattered on the floor.

This scene was exactly as Penelope had pictured just moments ago. Unable to control herself, Penelope took two steps back, her body swaying until her back hit the door with a loud thud.

This noise woke Fiona up. “Who is it?” she mumbled, sitting up in a daze, and when she saw Penelope, she paused for a moment then said, “What are you doing here?”
