Chapter 819 The Davis Family's New Member Appears!

Kelvin smirked. "How could I dare? I'm just hanging out here, hoping you'll come back soon."

Penelope linked her arm through his and gave it a playful shake. "I knew it, our Mr. Davis is getting more and more thoughtful."

"Thoughtful?"

Was that really the word to describe him?

Penelope corrected herself. "You don't like it? How about generous?"

"Isn't that the word Sam just used?"

Penelope burst into laughter. "Well, it's the same idea, you get it! Anyway, you're no longer nitpicking, overthinking, or being domineering..."

Kelvin's eyes darkened. "Penelope, you throw around these negative words so easily, but when it comes to praising me, you run out of words and have to quote Sam?"

"No, absolutely not!"

Penelope's eyes were pure and innocent, blinking at him.

Even if she did, she wouldn't admit it!

Penelope shook his arm again. "I'm just too tired; my brain isn't working. Come on. Everything should be packed. Let's go home!"

This time, it was truly going home!

Back to a home for the four of them, back to a warm and cozy home!

"By the way," Penelope suddenly remembered something, "Brandon mentioned earlier that the hospital entrance is swarmed with media reporters. Not sure what's going on."

"Reporters?"

"Yeah, you don't know about this either?"

Kelvin shook his head. "No idea."

"For safety, let's leave through the back door."

Just as she said that, Liam called out, "Kelvin!"

Kelvin paused his hand, which was about to dial the head of security. "Grandpa, what's up?"

"I specifically called the reporters to the hospital entrance," Liam said. "Sam's return to the Davis family is such a big deal, it should be publicized so everyone in LA knows we have a new member in the Davis family!"

"To prevent those gossipers from speculating about Sam's identity. We should announce it ourselves, what do you think?"

"This is a joyous occasion, a huge event. Once the media covers it, everyone in LA will know. When they see Sam and Lucy, they'll know they're part of the Davis family. From now on, they should attend various gatherings and events to show their faces."

So, this was Liam's arrangement.

"Grandpa," Kelvin said, "why didn't you tell me about this earlier?"

"I'm telling you now, aren't I?"

Telling him now hardly counted as earlier.

Kelvin rubbed his forehead. "Did you ask Sam's opinion?"

"He agreed."

Sam immediately chimed in, "Yeah, I agree with Grandpa!"

You should know that Lucy had already made headlines in LA news and topped trending lists on major platforms.

The Davis family's young lady was known throughout the city, precious and pampered.

So, how could Sam lose out?

Make a grand entrance!

Heat up the scene!

He was part of the Davis family, a prestigious identity!

Moreover, Sam, being a piano prodigy, had made public appearances multiple times and already had a certain level of fame online!

Now, with the added identity of being part of the Davis family, it would surely blow up the internet!

"Going public is good, it's good," Nicole said from the side. "We can't keep hiding the two kids forever."

Connor nodded. "Yeah, Sam needs to feel like he belongs. He's been kept in the shadows for too long."

"Exactly," Liam agreed. "It's settled then!"

Sam, being the future heir of the Davis family, would eventually need to make public appearances, integrate into LA's high society circles, and be recognized by more people. He was destined to take over the Davis Group.

But Lucy was different. She was a young princess, carefree and unburdened by the same expectations. Whether she managed the company or not didn't matter. If she were ambitious, she could take over the company with Sam. If not, she could pursue any career she liked without worrying about the "Davis family heiress" identity.

So, while Sam could make public appearances, Lucy needed to be protected and not overly exposed.

At the hospital entrance, reporters craned their necks, eagerly awaiting Sam's appearance. Cameras were already aimed at the exit, ready to capture every moment as soon as they appeared. Some reporters even started live streaming.

"Right now, we're at the entrance of LA Central Hospital, where the new member of the Davis family will soon appear. This is confirmed news from the Davis family, and many fellow reporters have already gathered here," one reporter announced.

"The Davis family, being LA's top elite, is mysterious and noble, yet has frequently made headlines in recent years. Last time, the appearance of the Davis family's young lady attracted millions of viewers. Today, how much buzz will the new member create?"

The live stream's viewership quickly exceeded ten thousand.

In eager anticipation, Liam appeared first, leaning on his cane. Photographers swarmed, flashlights clicking nonstop!

Liam beamed. "Everyone, don't rush, don't push, be safe. My great-grandson is right behind. Here are some gifts for everyone, a small token. Please accept them."

One gift after another was handed out, wrapped in exquisite boxes, clearly valuable. The Davis family was certainly generous! Countless candies were also scattered, and Liam was in high spirits.

Soon, Kelvin and Penelope appeared. Penelope wore sunglasses and walked with her head down, while Kelvin held her hand and carried Sam. Unlike Penelope, who deliberately avoided the cameras, Sam faced them head-on, waving and greeting, "Hello everyone!"

His voice was clear and loud! Kelvin, with a tight-lipped expression, carried him through the crowd, escorted by bodyguards, heading towards the nanny van. Sam looked around, striking various poses for the cameras, completely unfazed and enjoying the attention!

It was hard to believe that such a high-profile son came from such low-key parents. Kelvin couldn't stand it anymore and pressed Sam's head down onto his shoulder. "Alright, that's enough photos, you've made your appearance."

"Not handsome enough, let's take a few more!"

In the live stream chat, viewers were buzzing with excitement.

"Why are rich people's kids always so good-looking? And they're so cute and confident!"

"If I were born into a billion-dollar inheritance, I'd be even more confident than he!"
