Kelvin smirked. "How could I dare? I'm just hanging out here, hoping you'll come back soon."
Penelope linked her arm through his and gave it a playful shake. "I knew it, our Mr. Davis is getting more and more thoughtful."

Penelope corrected herself. "You don't like it? How about generous?"
"Isn't that the word Sam just used?"
Penelope burst into laughter. "Well, it's the same idea, you get it! Anyway, you're no longer nitpicking, overthinking, or being domineering..."
Kelvin's eyes darkened. "Penelope, you throw around these negative words so easily, but when it comes to praising me, you run out of words and have to quote Sam?"
"No, absolutely not!"
Penelope's eyes were pure and innocent, blinking at him.
