Chapter 300 Oliver Kidnapped

"Oliver? Where is Oliver?" Susan searched the entire room, but Oliver was nowhere to be found. She quickly called for a nurse, who was also taken aback.

"His anesthesia still has an hour to go. It's impossible for him to disappear on his own. Someone must have taken him, but who would take a child from a hospital blatantly?"

Susan's mind raced. Could it be human traffickers? However, they wouldn't come to a hospital to abduct a child, would they? Just then, Grace's face flashed before her, and her phone rang.

"Susan, I have your son. Come to Warehouse 29 now. If you dare to inform Caleb or the police, your son will be as good as dead!" Grace threatened before hanging up.

Without a second thought, Susan rushed out of the hospital to hail a cab. "Grace, give me back my son!" Susan arrived at the abandoned warehouse, where Grace sat calmly on a chair. Several bodyguards immediately restrained Susan, and she couldn't break free.

"Release Oliver now," Susan demanded, her voice filled with panic. "He has just undergone a surgery. You would kill him."

Grace, with a cold look, taunted, "He's better off dead, isn't he? It saves me the trouble."

If it weren't for Caleb's vigilance at the hospital, she would have taken the child out long ago and wouldn't have let him receive the surgery!

"Release my son now! Otherwise, I'll kill you, Grace!" The bodyguards held Susan back, rendering her unable to move, let alone kill. She could only rage and roar.

"Kill me? Haha, I could easily kill you."

"Susan, your son's leukemia is the retribution for being a homewrecker. He deserves to die, and so do you! I underestimated you. You got pregnant four years ago. You were waiting for the child to inherit the family property, right?"

"I never thought that way, and I would never compete with you for a man. Release Oliver, and we'll leave A City immediately. I only want my son, nothing else." Susan anxiously pleaded, "Please release him. Something might happen to him after the surgery..."

"Do you think I would believe your words? Get down on your knees." Without hesitation, Susan knelt down. "Please let him go. It's all my fault. Just kill me."

"You want to trade your life for your child's? Well, I won't let you off that easily."

Grace threw a dagger in front of her and said with a cold smile, "If you scratch your face, I'll let him go."

"Why should I trust you?"

"Haha, you don't trust me, or you're just afraid? Isn't your motherly love great? Aren't you willing to die for that child? It's just a scratch, Susan. You're really despicable."

"Let Oliver go first, then you can do whatever you want to me."

"If you don't do it, your son will be in danger..."

Grace's eyes turned cold.

"Enough talk! Scratch your face, and we'll see if Caleb still wants you. Do it!" Susan swallowed hard. She knew that even if she did as Grace said, Grace might not release Oliver, but if she didn't do it, she wouldn't have any chance.

Her mind was filled with maternal love, and she didn't have time to think about anything else. She picked up the dagger and was about to scratch her face. Grace's eyes widened with excitement.

With a loud bang, a jeep rushed in. A man in a patient's gown got out of the car, but he exuded a majestic and dangerous aura. Caleb saw Susan kneeling on the ground with a dagger in her hand. His heart ached, and then he glared at Grace with a look that could have torn her apart. Grace's face turned pale, and she stood up. The bodyguard holding Susan immediately backed away in fear. "Grace, you're asking for it." Caleb walked toward Grace, wanting to end her life.

Grace quickly hid behind the bodyguard, but the bodyguard dared not protect her and backed away in fear.

"You, you bunch of useless people!" Grace was slapped to the ground by Caleb, her cheek stinging, a strong taste of blood in her mouth. The next second, Caleb grabbed her by the throat, lifting her from the ground with a grip strong enough to crush her. "I said, if you dare to hurt her, I'll kill you."

"Come on, are you going to kill me?" Grace's face was swollen, her eyes wide open, appearing fierce and ferocious, but her body trembled uncontrollably with fear.

Susan quickly threw away the dagger and stood up. "I'm fine, but she took Oliver."

"Where is my son?" Those three words pierced Grace's heart.

"Caleb, you only have a daughter, not a son. You actually hit me for this woman."

"I don't have time to argue with you. Where is Oliver?" Caleb tightened his grip on her neck, causing Grace to choke and struggle to breathe.

"Speak!" Caleb commanded sternly. "Caleb, you, you're actually siding with a mistress. Bastard... you treat me like this... I gave birth to Candy for you..."

"Speak!"

"If you have the guts, just strangle me."

"You think I won't?" Susan became anxious, afraid that Caleb would really strangle her.

"Caleb... stop..."

At this moment, Caleb was completely provoked by Grace. He lost his rationality, his fingers tightening, exerting more force, choking Grace's throat.

"Speak."

"You... strangle me..." Grace's voice squeezed out of her throat with difficulty, her eyes were already starting to turn white, her gaze violently shaking.

"Caleb, stop." Susan was afraid, so she pulled his arm. "You're really going to strangle her, Caleb."

"Caleb..." Susan anxiously pulled his hand away. Grace immediately collapsed to the ground like a pile of mud, her face red, covering her throat, coughing violently. Snot and tears flowed, she was on the verge of begging for mercy just now. Grace once again experienced the cruelty of this man. She fell in love with a devil. Caleb's phone vibrated, and he answered, "Found it? Good, I got it."

"Did you find Oliver?" Susan asked in a hurry, and Caleb nodded.

"Thank God. Is he okay?"

"He's fine, Oliver has been sent back to the hospital," Caleb warned Grace with a stern look. "If you dare to approach them, I'll..."

"What can you do to me? Are you going to kill me?" Grace asked indifferently, her question full of sarcasm, but her eyes revealed a sense of despair and hatred.

"Caleb, you won't kill me because I'm Candy's mother. No matter how much you hate me, you can't do anything to me."

However, what he was doing now was already a form of torture for her. Caleb's fingers tightened.

"Are you sure your family can afford this price?”

"Are you sure you can bear Candy's hatred? Caleb, if you continue to be with this bitch, I will tell Candy about those shameless things you did. Besides, I will reveal your true colors to the whole world and make everybody know how disgusting you are."
