Chapter 879 Go Find Her Real Dad

"At least dogs are loyal, but you, you're worse than a dog, ungrateful. It's a miracle I haven't killed you, and you still dare to ask for my forgiveness!"

Aaron was so disgusted it felt like he had swallowed a fly, unable to even vomit.

Disgusting!

"We've been married for over twenty years. I, I took care of you. Even if I didn't achieve much, I worked hard, honey."

"Saffron may not be your biological daughter, but the bond of raising her is stronger than blood. You do have feelings for her, don't you? Honey, she has been filial to you for so many years."

"Shut up! Filial? She only brings me trouble, with a heart as venomous as yours. I don't have a daughter like that; she's not my child, which is why she's nothing like me!"

Aaron said coldly, grinding his teeth. "Sign the divorce papers, and I'll give you a million dollars to send you both out of the country."

A million dollars?

Elara was stunned.

He was too ruthless!

A million dollars wouldn't even buy a house in Libertonia. Was he trying to starve them to death?

"Honey, I, I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave you. Saffron can't be without a father either."

"Then let her find her real dad in prison!" Aaron retorted sarcastically.

"I made mistakes, but you haven't been completely faithful to me either. Over the years, you've had flings and kept other women. Didn't I keep quiet about it? Which wealthy couple doesn't live like this?"

Aaron was furious. "You think you're justified?"

He kicked Elara, who screamed in pain, tasting blood in her mouth.

"You disgust me."

"Sign the papers now! Immediately! Or you won't get a single cent!"

Realizing that Aaron would never forgive her no matter how much she begged, Elara decided to settle for less. "I'll sign if you give me fifty million dollars."

"Fifty million dollars? You think you deserve that?" Aaron's temple throbbed with anger.

He knew he shouldn't have shown any mercy. Offering her a million dollars only made her greedier.

You can't show any softness to a despicable person.

"No matter how undeserving I am, I spent twenty years with you, gave you the best years of my life. Doesn't my youth count for anything? Now that I'm older, you want to kick me out. You're so heartless!"

Shameless wretch!

She betrayed him, and now she had the nerve to turn the tables? Aaron was shaking with rage.

But he told himself it wasn't worth getting angry over a woman like Elara.

"This is my final offer: one million dollars, sign the papers! Otherwise, you get nothing."

"Saffron has a broken leg and can't marry a wealthy man. I'll have to support her for the rest of her life. A million dollars isn't enough. Aaron, fifty million dollars is nothing to you. You're too stingy."

"If you want me to sign, give me fifty million dollars. Otherwise, I'll keep pestering you." Elara was desperate, acting like a shrew.

"You think I can't deal with you? Someone, throw this woman out."

"Let go of me, let go..." Elara bit the butler.

At that moment, a Mercedes-Benz slowly drove in.

Saffron was shocked to see the scene. Her mother was drenched, kneeling before her father. "What's going on?"

"Saffron? Why are you out of the hospital?" Elara asked, her face pale. She felt deeply ashamed that her daughter had to witness such a humiliating scene and wished she could disappear.

"You didn't come back, so I had the driver handle my discharge." Of course, she had threatened the doctor with tearing down the hospital to get her way.

"Dad, why is Mom kneeling? Are you two fighting?"

Aaron hadn't visited Saffron in the past few days because he was afraid of the complicated feelings he had for her, just like now.

Saffron was still Saffron, but she wasn't biologically related to him, even though he had raised her.

Aaron's emotions were too complex.

He moved his lips, looking at Saffron in her wheelchair, but couldn't bring himself to drive her away.

After all, Saffron was innocent in this matter and actually quite pitiful.

"Come inside."

Elara thought she saw a glimmer of hope and quickly got up from the ground, only to realize her knees were bleeding and in pain.

She had been a pampered rich wife for so many years, making others kneel before her, but never kneeling herself, especially not in front of her daughter.

It was extremely humiliating.

She hoped Aaron wouldn't reveal Saffron's true parentage in front of her, as it would surely devastate Saffron.

Elara felt so ashamed and miserable that she wanted to die.

"You can rest at home for a few days. Next week, I'll send you both to Libertonia."

Aaron believed he was being very merciful, and this was his final act of kindness towards the mother and daughter.

Saffron was shocked. "What? You're still sending us out of the country?"

She thought that after the kidnapping incident, her father would have softened.

Moreover, during her time in the hospital, Aaron hadn't mentioned sending her abroad. Why now...

Saffron began to suspect Elara. Elara had said many strange things. Had she done something to anger Aaron again?

How unlucky she was to have such a troublesome mother.

"Dad, I have a broken leg. How am I supposed to live in Libertonia?" Tears welled up in Saffron's eyes. "Are you trying to kill me? Am I not your real daughter?"

Elara shivered, her face turning even paler. This question was like adding fuel to the fire for Aaron, making her extremely anxious.

Aaron clenched his fists. Saffron was like a living reminder of his shame! And she dared to ask such a question!

But Saffron, unaware of the situation, continued to angrily press, "Am I your daughter or not? Am I? Is Juniper the only one you care about? We're both your daughters. How can you treat me so unfairly? Are you planning never to see me again if you send me to Libertonia?"

"Yes."

Saffron was stunned. "What are you saying? I'm your daughter. Even if I've made some mistakes, no father would be so heartless as to never see his daughter again. Especially now that I have a broken leg."

"Dad! You can't do this to me!"

"Did Juniper say something bad about me again? She's framing me."

"Enough, stop talking. My mind is made up, and it won't change."

Aaron wanted to warn her not to run away from home again, but seeing Saffron in her current state, where could she possibly go in a wheelchair?

He instructed the butler to keep an eye on her and not let her leave the house.

"Dad, Dad..."

Aaron quickly went upstairs.

Saffron hurriedly called Elara back to the room. "What's going on? Why is Dad suddenly so resolute? What trouble did you cause?"
