A week later, Saffron's leg injury and mental state had improved. Officer Alfonso brought some photos for her to identify the perpetrator.
Saffron had her leg broken by the perpetrator because she had torn off his mask, not because she called the police. They naively thought Aaron would never call the police.

"He broke my leg. I'd recognize him even if he turned to ashes. There's no way I'd be wrong." Saffron ground her teeth in hatred.
"This man is named Oscar. He used to work at a casino, has been in and out of jail several times for robbery and assault. He's a tough guy. Rest well, we're issuing a city-wide manhunt for him now!"
"Mr. Carr, can you hand them over to me after you catch them?" Saffron clutched the bedsheet and asked urgently.

Two days later, Juniper came to the hospital.

Juniper gasped in pain, unable to speak.

Juniper sat on the ground for a while before she could get up, leaning against the wall. "You're crazy!"

Her stomach hurt so much, she must be injured. Juniper left in a panic.
A nurse came in, and Saffron ordered her, "I'll pay you, follow her and see where she goes."
Juniper hurried to the gynecology department, where the doctor performed an ultrasound and said the baby was fine.
Juniper finally breathed a sigh of relief. The pain had been so intense earlier, she was worried about a miscarriage.
