Chapter 897 Never Part

Seeing his daughter crying so heartbreakingly in his hands, Atticus felt deeply distressed.

Patting her shoulder to comfort her, he said, "Let it go, Brynn. This just proves that you two aren't meant to be. It's better for Eldon to live his own life."

"I don't want to. I want to find him, Dad... I need to find him. Tell me where he is. I can't live without him."

Atticus shook his head, "Let it go."

"I want him! Dad! I want him!" Brynn cried out, her voice hoarse.

She felt like she had fallen into a dark abyss, filled with despair.

"Eldon, come back, come back." She called out in desperation.

At that moment—

"Brynn."

A familiar voice.

Was she hallucinating?

Brynn froze, staring in shock.

Eldon stood right in front of her, holding a suitcase.

"Eldon?" Brynn immediately rushed towards him, but her legs were too weak, and she almost fell as she stood up.

"Careful!" Eldon quickly supported her.

"I... I was afraid you'd leave again, Eldon. Am I dreaming? You didn't leave?" Brynn clung tightly to his arm, afraid it was just a dream.

"I didn't leave. I won't leave you."

"Don't go, don't go." Brynn threw herself into his arms, hugging him with all her strength, trembling with anxiety, "I would die without you."

"Me too." Eldon's eyes reddened.

He had originally decided to leave, but at the moment of passing through the gate, he suddenly realized he couldn't do it.

He couldn't bear to leave!

Even if he couldn't be with her every moment like before, he had to stay here. Just being able to see her was enough!

"Eldon." Brynn cried uncontrollably.

Atticus silently watched this scene, feeling both shocked and moved.

"Dad, don't let Eldon leave, please? I'm begging you, Dad." Brynn pleaded anxiously.

"Mr. Elise." Eldon also looked at him with pleading eyes.

After witnessing their deep attachment, how could Atticus harden his heart?

His greatest wish wasn't for his daughter to marry a man of equal social standing, but for her to marry a man who loved her, cherished her, and would treat her well.

In this regard, no one could compare to Eldon.

Moreover, Atticus recognized Eldon's abilities. As long as he was given a platform, his future was promising.

Atticus nodded.

With his approval, both of them showed grateful smiles.

"Thank you, Dad."

"Thank you, Mr. Elise."

"Great, Eldon, we never have to be apart again." Brynn joyfully jumped up and hugged his neck. In her arms was the greatest happiness of her life.

She wanted to hold on tightly, tightly, with all her strength.

At the Elise Villa.

Eldon sat on the bed, and Brynn clung to his waist like an octopus.

She loved Eldon's scent so much, loved him so much, she never wanted to be apart from him for even a second.

"Your eyes are swollen from crying. Should I get a towel for a warm compress?"

As soon as he moved, Brynn hugged him tighter, "I don't want to."

"I don't want to be apart from you."

"I'll be right back." Eldon chuckled.

"That's not good either."

"Listen to yourself, your voice is hoarse. Let me get you a glass of water, okay?"

"No, no!" Brynn said willfully, "Don't go. I'm afraid you won't come back if you leave."

"How could that be? Didn't we agree to be together forever?" Eldon gently comforted her.

"But you promised to be with me forever before, and you almost left me. If I hadn't chased you to the airport, you would have gone, right?"

"No." Eldon gazed at her tenderly, "Even if you hadn't chased me, I wouldn't have left."

"Really?" Brynn's eyes trembled, shining brightly.

"Yes, because here is where my heart and love are. I can't leave, and I won't. The moment I passed through the gate, I regretted it. Even if you hadn't chased me to the airport, I would have come back to find you."

Brynn was deeply moved. It turned out Eldon couldn't bear to leave her either.

It was so good, so happy.

But Brynn, being proud, hummed, "Who said I'd accept you if you came back? Aren't you afraid I'd be angry and not want you anymore?"

"Then I'll keep pestering you, apologizing until you forgive me. Our little princess is the kindest, she wouldn't ignore me, right?" Eldon touched her face.

"How annoying, you're so sure I wouldn't ignore you?" Brynn pouted, "Hate you."

"Silly girl."

"You said I treated you like an accessory, hindering you from living your own life. Was that the truth?" Brynn still felt a bit sad thinking about it.

"Of course not." Eldon quickly said, "I'm sorry for saying that to you. I was just afraid..."

Brynn gently placed her finger on his lips, "You don't need to explain, I understand. But I've reflected on it. My previous behavior was indeed a bit selfish, always clinging to you, making you accompany me all the time, which would hinder your development."

"Eldon, you are a very outstanding person. You will have a broader future."

"To me, the most important thing isn't the future, it's you." Eldon held her small hand, full of affection.

"But I believe we can have both the future and each other. As long as we're in the same city and I can see you every day, that's enough. I also hope my Eldon can become an even more outstanding man."

"Do you really think so?" Eldon was moved.

"Yes."

"Alright, I promise you, I will become the most amazing man in Brynn's heart."

"I will work hard too. Let's strive together."

"Okay."

The best love, besides companionship, is growing and progressing together, becoming more outstanding and shining people together.

Next room.

"It's good that Eldon is back. I think they are a perfect match. I had no choice when you insisted on separating them before." Celestia said with relief.

"You understand me. I was also doing it for our daughter's good. But it doesn't matter now. Our daughter's happiness is the most important. This was also a test for them, making them understand each other's importance and love each other more deeply."

"So romantic." Celestia couldn't help but sigh.

Atticus pulled her into his arms, "Wasn't I romantic when I was young?"

"You were like a block of wood, not romantic at all."

"Really? I remember being quite romantic."

"That's because you're old and have memory problems." Celestia laughed.

"Or maybe you were romantic with other women. Tell me, who was it? Was it one of your ex-girlfriends?"

Atticus smiled, "Are you bringing up old issues?"

"You brought it up yourself."

"Alright, alright, I was wrong. You have a sharp tongue, I can't win against you." Atticus said gently.

Two days later.

[Eldon, I'm at the rooftop restaurant of the Platinum Haven Hotel, waiting for you.]

Eldon rushed to the hotel as soon as he received the message.
