Chapter 358 Longing
"Samuel? You're back!" Layla screamed and jumped into Samuel's arms. Like a koala, she wrapped her arms around Samuel's neck, both surprised and joyful.
The ingredients in Samuel's hands fell to the ground as he looked at the affectionate girl in his arms, a hint of surprise flickering in his eyes, followed by joy.
"Missed me that much? Hmm?" Layla realized she was in Samuel's arms, blushing shyly as she tried to get down, but Samuel held her from behind.
"You..."
"I missed you too."
With that, Samuel spun her around and pressed her against the door, suddenly landing a passionate kiss that expressed his intense longing.
This was at the doorstep.
Layla was flustered for a moment, but this brief moment of panic was quickly engulfed by the kiss. Just as Layla's startled voice was about to escape her throat, Samuel silenced her with a kiss, leaving her dizzy.
Layla was like a piece of driftwood, helplessly holding on tighter, her consciousness drifting away, until the neighbor next door opened the door and stared in astonishment at the kissing couple.
"Someone's here," Layla whispered softly, quickly burying her face in Samuel's chest, feeling embarrassed.
"I didn't see anything. Just ignore me." The neighbor hurriedly entered the elevator.
Layla playfully punched Samuel's chest. "Look! How embarrassing!"
Samuel didn't feel the slightest embarrassment. "Who was the one throwing herself at me?"
"It wasn't me."
"Are you sure?" Samuel lowered his gaze, looking down, and Layla's legs were still firmly wrapped around his waist.
Blushing, Layla hurriedly tried to get down, but Samuel held her from behind, took the keys from her hand, and opened the door with one hand while carrying Layla. In the living room, he pressed Layla onto the sofa, another deep and lingering kiss, before reluctantly releasing her lips.
"Layla, I missed you so much," Samuel murmured, his eyes burning with passion.
Layla, feeling soft all over her body, almost melted in Samuel's fiery affection.
Blushing, Layla changed the subject. "I'm hungry."
Her stomach also cooperated by growling.
"Eat me?"
"I want to eat pasta."
"I'll cook for you," Samuel said, his eyes shining with affection as he rubbed her face. "Wait for a while, babe. Your personal chef is going to cook for you."
Layla got up from the sofa. "Mr. Vandella said you weren't coming until next week." She suddenly realized the fact and added, "So he lied to me."
'No wonder Mr. Vandella didn't prepare dinner for me today,' she thought.
"Mr. Vandella looked so honest. I never thought he could lie without blushing." Layla was both angry and amused. "Just like you."
Samuel rolled up his sleeves in the kitchen, filled a pot with water, and said, "When was I ever cunning?"
"You're not cunning? You're the most cunning person in the world."
Samuel protested, "I only have a sincere heart for you."
Layla complained that Samuel was too flippant.
Watching Samuel busy in the kitchen, a surge of impulse rose in her heart.
Samuel raised his hand, and Layla wrapped her arms around him from behind, pressing her cheek against his back.
Samuel's hand trembled suddenly, freezing in place.
"I've wanted to do this since last time. I've always wanted to," Layla said against Samuel's back, her eyes soft, letting her longing pour out like a tide. "You've been away these days, and I missed you so much."
Layla had been fighting against her rationality, trying to reveal her true feelings, and restraining herself. Even though she wanted to hug Samuel and say she missed him, Layla had to resist. It had been like this for a long time, which was really tiring.
At this moment, Layla was like a snail shedding its hard shell, wanting only to embrace him with her softest body. She missed him and relied on him.
Samuel smiled gently, his eyes full of tenderness. Samuel didn't say anything, not wanting to disturb the tranquility of the moment.
As the pasta boiled in the pot, Samuel turned off the heat, turned around, and embraced Layla, holding her tightly and resting his chin on her head.
Layla was so soft and petite, evoking Samuel's full affection. He wanted to completely merge her into his body.
Samuel lowered his head and pinched Layla's chin, his fingertips gently caressing her. "Layla, I love you." Samuel smiled tenderly and kissed her.
Layla melted like spring water, no longer resisting her true feelings. Yielding to instinct, she tiptoed and warmly responded to Samuel's kiss.
Before they knew it, Layla's body gently fell on the bed like a feather.
Samuel gently kissed her forehead, nose, and cheeks and slowly moved down to her lips.
"May I?"
Layla blushed and couldn't speak, just silently kissing Samuel.
Samuel was ecstatic, but his actions were incredibly gentle.
Samuel's fingers intertwined with Layla's, lingering.
As the passion faded, warmth filled the air.
Layla lay quietly in Samuel's arms, listening to his steady heartbeat.
Just now, Samuel was incomparably gentle, even more tender and profound, penetrating the soul.
For the past some time, Layla had been living quite depressed, thinking this day would never come. But love was unstoppable. No matter how Layla resisted, she couldn't refuse this deep love that penetrated her bones.
Samuel held Layla with one hand, playing with her cute fingers with the other, unable to resist kissing them frequently.
Every part of Layla was so lovely.
Her stomach growled again.
"Hungry?" Samuel asked with a smile.
Layla, with a face like a delicate flower, pouted, "It's all your fault. Several hours have passed. How can I not be hungry?"
Samuel apologized sincerely, "My bad."
Layla could tell how proud Samuel was. Men could be really childish in this regard.
"The pasta are ruined. Let me cook again."
"It's too much trouble. Let's order a takeout." Layla hugged Samuel, actually reluctant to leave him. Layla had too much-unspoken attachment to his embrace. Of course, she wouldn't let him know how clingy she was.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Don't bother Mr. Vandella. It's convenient to order through the app," Layla said excitedly, sitting up, her eyes sparkling. "I want to eat sushi!"
'Her eyes weren't this bright even during lovemaking! Could I be less appealing than sushi?' he thought.
Samuel chuckled, thinking he had stooped so low as to be jealous of food. It was pitiful, truly pitiful!
Samuel helplessly booed Layla's nose. "Not allowed."
"Why?"
"What do you think? The cutest little pregnant woman in the world."
Layla pouted, "I'm pregnant, not someone with a weak stomach. Why can't I eat? I've been very careful with my diet, and an occasional indulgence won't hurt. Do you know what a woman's obsession is?"
