Chapter 392 Biting Off Fingers

Cassandra recalled that it was Layla who initially took down the big order, and she flattered Layla to deal with Fanny. Later, when Fanny became the CEO, she turned against Layla and supported Fanny instead. Layla never started a war or truly harmed her. It was all Cassandra stirring up trouble.

That night, Cassandra begged for mercy, claiming she was virgin, but Fanny shockingly suggested making it more exciting by offering them twenty thousand more to just insult her.

Cassandra despised Fanny, and they were now sworn enemies!

The more Cassandra thought, the more she regretted her actions.

What had she done?

Layla was right. It was her that led to her downfall.

She brought it upon herself!

Cassandra shed tears of regret, sitting on the ground, covering her face and crying.

Others showed no sympathy towards her, ignoring her completely.

After this incident, their attitude towards Layla had completely changed. Misunderstandings were cleared, and they felt ashamed of their behavior. They also admired Layla's strength. If it were them, they might have resigned long ago.

Cassandra cried all morning, as if she figured it out, wiped her tears, and said, "Layla, I'm sorry."

After speaking, she walked out of the company with determination.

On the other side.

"Madam." The driver respectfully opened the back door for Nora.

Nora had been on the phone, feeling somewhat irritated.

From yesterday until now, Fanny seemed to have vanished, not answering her calls. 'What is going on? Did Layla kill her?' Nora was pondering when the car suddenly braked, causing her to bump into the front seat, feeling dizzy. "What are you doing?" Nora exclaimed.

"I'm sorry. A crazy woman suddenly rushed out, and I had to brake abruptly. Are you okay?" the driver apologized.

Nora looked up towards the window.

A panicked face suddenly pressed against the window, startling her to the point of dropping her phone.

"Miss Eilish, save me, save me." Fanny pounded on the car window frantically.

The white Bentley parked in the park.

Fanny, in front of her, had disheveled hair, deep-set eyes, and a face full of panic.

"Miss Eilish, save me... I... I need money..." Fanny begged.

Nora's gaze turned disdainful. She detested poor people, finding their appearance repulsive from the bottom of her heart.

"Is Layla dead?" Nora asked.

"Not yet," Fanny replied.

"Then how dare you ask me for money?" Nora added.

"But I bought a Hermes bag and owe the bank forty thousand. If I don't pay up, they'll ruin me. Miss Eilish. I don't want the bag anymore, it's brand new. I haven't even used it." Fanny anxiously grabbed Nora's hand.

Her dirty hands looked even dirtier against Nora's white sleeve.

"Don't touch me!" Nora immediately shook off her hand, as if she were a disgusting beggar who would tarnish her nobility.

Where Fanny had grabbed her, a few fingerprints remained. Nora frowned. She had a cleanliness obsession!

"Miss Eilish, forty thousand is nothing to you, but I don't have that much money. If you don't lend it to me, I'll have to sell my house," Fanny said.

"It's none of my business." Nora was cold and indifferent.

"How is it not your business? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be in this mess," Fanny continued.

Nora smirked, looking at her mockingly. "The day I saw you being kicked out of the company like a stray dog. I made you the CEO. But you're just a waste, incapable of even the simplest tasks, wasting my time."

"No! You have no idea what I did for you!" Fanny cried out in frustration.

"I don't care what means you used. If there are no results, you're just a waste," Nora replied.

"You've ruined me. I sent five men to force Layla, and they ended up raping me instead. One of them even got sick," Fanny shouted.

Nora immediately paled and shouted loudly, "Get out!"

"Miss Eilish, I might have gotten sick. Please, help me in my misery... Miss Eilish..." Fanny cried, reaching for her hand.

"Don't touch me with your dirty hands! Get out of the car." Nora commanded urgently.

Nora knew it wouldn't be contagious, but she felt very disgusted!

Even the air around this filthy woman was dirty!

"Get out!" Nora shouted.

"Help me, Miss Eilish. I beg you," Fanny pleaded. "I'm already in a miserable state... If it weren't for following your orders, things wouldn't have come to this. Miss Eilish... You have to take responsibility for me! You must help me!"

"I'm telling you to get out!" Nora dared not touch Fanny. As Fanny refused to leave, Nora was about to get off from her side when Fanny lunged forward, grabbing her hand tightly.

Nora screamed as if she were a virus, panicking and pushing. "Let go of me."

"Miss Eilish, save me..."

"Get out! Fanny, if not, I'll kill you." Nora screamed, warning.

"Driver! Damn it!" Nora shouted.

The car's soundproofing was too good, and the driver, with his back turned, was on the phone, unaware of the commotion.

"Driver! Damn it!" Nora was like a trapped animal, while Fanny clung to her.

"Let go of me... you disgusting dirty woman." Nora was furious and terrified, screaming in desperation.

Enraged by those words, Fanny snapped, her eyes filled with anger. "You're the one who ruined me."

Fanny grabbed Nora's neck with both hands, causing Nora to gasp for breath, desperately trying to pry her fingers off. But Fanny had gone completely mad, her strength terrifyingly overwhelming, making it impossible for Nora to break free.

"You've ruined me so badly, and now you want to kick me out? Not that easy. I'll go down with you!" Fanny replied.

Nora's mind was turning blank from being choked, tears streaming down her face, her struggles becoming weaker. She was being choked to death.

‘Help, help...’ Nora thought.

Fanny glared fiercely. She completely lost her sanity. She solely focused on strangling Nora.

"You're the dirty woman. Nora, go die!" Fanny exerted all her strength, her hand trembling with effort, green veins popping on the back of her hand.

Just as Nora was about to be strangled. "Stop!" The driver opened the car door, pulling Fanny from behind. "Let go..."

The driver forcibly pried Fanny's hand open, but she was relentless. When Nora pushed her away, Fanny bit down hard on Nora's finger.

Nora let out a heart-wrenching scream.

Fanny clung to Nora's finger like a wolf biting its prey, refusing to let go, her mouth filled with the taste of blood.

Nora cried out, screaming in agony.
