Chapter 859 Got Caught

"Yeah, Sir, there must be some misunderstanding," Bianca said anxiously.

"Whether there's a misunderstanding or not, we'll find out after the investigation. Shouting here won't help. Hurry up, stop dawdling."

"I'm not going!" Juniper sat firmly in the executive chair, refusing to move.

"Are you resisting arrest?"

"I'm not going, no matter what."

"You have to go, whether you want to or not. We're the police, we're not negotiating with you."

Seeing that Saffron wouldn't budge, they went up and dragged her away.

"Let go of me, let go!"

"Do you know who I am?"

"This company belongs to my dad."

"Let go!"

"If you dare arrest me, I'll make sure you lose your jobs!"

"Let go!"

Saffron refused to cooperate, shouting and cursing, but was handcuffed and dragged out of the office.

Everyone watched in shock.

"What's going on?"

"No idea, she must have done something wrong. Could it be related to the contract she signed a few days ago? I always thought something was fishy."

"Hard to say."

"Ever since she came, there's been one issue after another, never a moment of peace."

Juniper saw the scene and, after understanding the situation, said to Kieran, "I knew there was something wrong with that contract, but I've been too busy to deal with it. I didn't expect her to cause such a big mess."

"I've already blocked the news from the media and contacted Nexus Solutions Inc. It won't get out; we'll handle it internally. She's really out of her mind, bribing the other party for an illegal deal."

Juniper shook her head and sneered, "She's too eager for quick success. I'm not surprised she caused this mess. She brought this on herself, serves her right."

"So, should we contact someone to get her out?"

"No need. If she doesn't suffer a bit, she'll dare to do it again next time. Just make sure the media doesn't get wind of it."

"Alright."

Elara rushed to the police station and made a scene to no avail, then hurried home.

Seeing Juniper and Aaron leisurely eating, she was furious.

She had been afraid Aaron would find out, so she went to rescue Saffron herself, but they wouldn't release her.

"Saffron's been locked up, and you can still eat?"

"Locked up? What happened?"

"She was arrested for illegal transactions," Juniper said calmly.

"Illegal transactions?"

"Don't talk nonsense, Saffron wouldn't do that. She must have been framed."

"Framed? Didn't she sign the contract? She was bragging about it just a few days ago. Dad, do you know how she managed to sign it in such a short time?"

Juniper explained the whole situation, and Aaron was furious after hearing it.

"Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! Is she out of her mind? How could she do something so absurd?"

"She never had much sense, but she's got guts, daring to do something like this! I've already blocked the news from the media, but we can't keep it from the company. Now everyone knows the CEO's daughter was arrested for illegal transactions, and it's causing quite a stir."

Elara's face turned ugly, and she angrily pointed at Juniper, "It must be you, you set a trap to harm Saffron!"

"I set a trap? Ridiculous. Wasn't it her eagerness to impress Dad that made her do this? What does it have to do with me? I even have to clean up her mess."

"Saffron wouldn't do this, it must be your scheme!"

"Blind! It's your favoritism that made her so brainless!" Aaron was furious, "And you blame Juniper?"

"No matter what, Saffron did it to gain your approval. Juniper can't be blameless. Anyway, she's still in the police station, we need to get her out first."

"I'm not getting her out. She made the mess, she can clean it up. If she has to go to jail, so be it. Let the law take its course, I'm done with her."

"Honey, she's your daughter. Saffron has never suffered much, how can she survive in jail? It's too cruel! You can't leave her there."

"She's an adult, and adults must take responsibility for their actions. She broke the law, I can't save her."

"Even if it's her fault, hasn't she learned her lesson by now? Let's just let it go, okay? Get her out first, and I'll discipline her when she's back."

Juniper sneered, "If she were so easy to reform, she wouldn't keep making mistakes. She's incorrigible. For someone like her, only being locked up will teach her a lesson. Otherwise, she'll keep making mistakes."

"Shut up! You're so cruel, you just want Saffron to go to jail. You must have set her up."

"The one who should shut up is you! If you hadn't always protected her, she wouldn't be so out of control. Juniper is right, she must pay for her mistakes. She'll stay locked up until she reforms."

"Saffron has already learned her lesson."

"In just a few hours?"

"You..."

"Unfilial daughter, always causing trouble, I can't even eat." Aaron put down his utensils, "I'm done."

"Honey, honey..."

"You can't just abandon Saffron."

"Calm down, okay? I'll make her kneel and apologize to you." Elara was really anxious, "She can't handle the hardship."

"Get out of my way—"

"Honey..." Elara was thrown to the ground, and she crawled over to hug Aaron's leg.

"Let go."

"If you don't release Saffron, I won't let go."

"She's your daughter, you can't be so heartless."

"Heartless?" Aaron snorted coldly, "I regret not being heartless enough, that's why she never learns."

Elara still wouldn't let go, and Aaron kicked her away.

"If you don't release her, I'll kneel here and never get up."

Aaron was indifferent, "Then kneel."

He went upstairs.

"Honey, honey..." Elara knelt on the ground, thinking Aaron would eventually soften.

Juniper continued eating dinner. With Saffron locked up, it was much quieter, and her appetite improved.

"You can still eat? Aren't you afraid of choking?"

"Why wouldn't I eat? Not only can I eat, but I also enjoy it more."

Elara was furious.

"Blame yourself for spoiling her. Saffron turned out this way thanks to you."

"You still say such things? Juniper, don't be smug. One day, it might be you in jail!" Elara's eyes were bloodshot, memorizing Juniper's smug look.

She vowed to remember this, and one day, she would make Juniper kneel and suffer a thousand times more.

"You won't see that day. Unlike your daughter, I don't cause trouble, and I'm not stupid. I'll only get better."

"As for Saffron, believe me, this is her first time in jail, but it won't be the last! I guarantee it!"
