Chapter 348 Stay Here
Samuel stood at the door reluctantly. "Are you really letting me go? I’ve stayed the night here before. Why not today?"
"You pretended to be drunk before. Anyway, I won’t allow it today, no matter what. You should go back early. Don't be stubborn," Layla said as she prepared to close the door.
"Wait." Samuel leaned against the door, half his body inside, looking cheeky and sophisticated. "Give me a kiss."
"Dream on," Layla scoffed.
"If you don't kiss me, I won't leave."
"Why are you so cheeky?" Layla sighed.
"When have I not been cheeky in front of you? You should be used to it by now," Samuel said nonchalantly. "Otherwise, we can just hang out like this. I'm fine with that."
Layla had no other choice but to reluctantly tiptoe and peck his lips. But in that moment, Samuel, who was quick-witted, grabbed her waist as she tiptoed. His other hand held her chin, giving it a firm pinch before kissing her forcefully.
Layla's body trembled, her eyes fixed on his long eyelashes. His intense gaze resembled ink, and sparked, almost devouring her.
Her mind went blank. She closed her eyes in response to his kiss.
After a while, she opened her eyes in a daze and saw a pair of smiling eyes.
"Not satisfied yet?" Samuel's narrow eyes were now filled with a charming allure.
Layla blushed, hastily pushing herself out of his embrace. "No way!"
"Slow down." Samuel held her waist, shaking his head indulgently. "You're almost a mother, but you’re still so reckless. Don't you know to be careful?"
'It's all your fault,' Layla thought, 'If your kissing skills weren't so superior, leaving me dizzy and weak-kneed, would I act like this?'
"Hurry up and leave," Layla huffed.
"Rest well," Samuel said.
After pushing the man out of the door, Layla covered her face, feeling unbelievably hot. A girl's blushing face revealed everything, exposing all her thoughts to him.
She was a weakling in front of him, as he knew all her thoughts clearly, which was super embarrassing.
Layla leaned against the door for a while, and her heartbeat finally calmed down. However, as she looked at the empty apartment, which was only about fifty square meters, she felt empty, even a bit cold.
He had only been gone for two minutes. She shouldn't depend on him so much.
But sometimes, the more she felt she shouldn't, the harder it was to control her emotions. She was even unable to resist the urge to call him back.
Layla shook her head in a hurry. She wouldn't do something so embarrassing. And she only expected his warmth and company at most. If he misunderstood and thought she wanted to be intimate with him, that would be even more awkward.
She didn't want that.
Layla shook her head vigorously.
'Well, time to sleep. Everything will be fine after I get some sleep,' she thought.
But as Layla left the door, she inexplicably turned and opened it again.
To her surprise, Samuel was still at the door.
Their eyes met. Layla's eyes were full of surprise.
'Why hasn't he left?' she thought.
Ahe hurriedly tried to close the door, acting as if she had seen a ghost, but Samuel had already squeezed in, looking pleased and triumphant. "I knew you couldn't bear to let me go."
"It’s not that. I was just going out to throw the trash," Layla insisted.
"You little liar. You don't have a trash bag in your hand," Samuel said.
"I just wanted to take a walk." Layla said.
"Don't go for a walk. Do something else." Samuel lifted her up and strode into the room.
As he threw Layla onto the bed, she screamed.
As he pressed down on her, Samuel supported his weight with his arm and lowered his head, his kisses falling like raindrops.
"Samuel.
"Don't.
"I'm pregnant. Don't do that.
"Samuel, stop.
"Stop," Layla cried out in urgency, her voice hoarse, blushing and panting.
"Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore." Samuel smiled, his eyes filled with deep affection. "I’ll just hold you as you sleep, nothing else, okay?"
Layla breathed a sigh of relief.
"Unless you want to."
"No, I don't want to, and you're not allowed to think that." Layla immediately raised her voice in urgency.
A deep laughter came from Samuel's chest, resonating like a cello, stirring Layla's ears.
"Don't laugh."
"Why?"
Layla pursed her lips awkwardly as her face turned red.
She wouldn't admit that his smile made her weak in the knees.
"You're heavy. Don't crush me."
Samuel shifted to the side. "Don't wear your underwear. I’m sure it's uncomfortable.
"Take it off."
"How shameless," Layla said.
"How is it shameless? I just want you to sleep comfortably," Samuel said as he calmly took off his suit, loosening his tie. His action exuded a strong masculine charm and a hint of seduction. Layla was overwhelmed again.
Samuel's hand then fell on his belt.
"Don't take off your pants."
"If I don't, how can I sleep?" Samuel asked.
"Why can't you sleep?"
"I’d be uncomfortable." No one would wear a suit to bed. Of course, that was just one of the reasons.
"I'll go take a shower and get back to you then." Samuel left her with a mischievous smile and entered the bathroom.
The glass door faintly revealed the man's slender and sexy figure.
Layla regretted her decision. 'Why did I have to open that door? Why did I invite trouble into my home?' she thought.
Layla scolded herself inwardly and beat her hands herself.
The only way to alleviate the embarrassment now was to pretend to sleep!
As the sound of water in the bathroom stopped, Layla immediately whooshed in the dark, turned off the light at lightning speed, and dove into the covers, turning her back.
A shadow emerged from the bathroom. She heard him walking barefoot on the floor, then the sound of drying his hair. Soon after, the man leaned down beside her, the mattress sinking.
"Are you asleep?" he asked softly.
Layla closed her eyes, biting the blanket.
A few seconds later, a large palm slipped into her sleepwear from behind.
Layla shuddered all over, almost jumping up with her eyes wide open.
'What is he doing? Wasn't he supposed to leave me alone? Liar. He must be trying to take advantage of me while I sleep,' she thought.
"Wearing clothes to sleep is bad for your health," he coaxed her softly.
Layla remained still.
"If you keep pretending to sleep, I'll do it with my own hands."
Layla was left speechless. She regretted pretending to sleep.
"Isn't this uncomfortable? Take it off.
"Darling, it's uncomfortable to sleep with it on. Take it off," Samuel insisted.
Successfully provoked, Layla cursed in the darkness. "Samuel, are you crazy? What I wear has nothing to do with you. Mind your own business! I like wearing it, and I don't need you to interfere. If you say one more word, I'll kick you off the bed."
