Chapter 855 Causing Trouble Again

In the office.

"Don't listen to his nonsense, he's just a lunatic," Saffron cursed angrily.

Juniper couldn't take it anymore, "You're the lunatic."

"How dare you insult me?"

"I don't just want to insult you, I want to hit you," Juniper said through gritted teeth.

"Saffron, I know you're stupid, but you keep pushing my limits. Flirting with clients at the company, are you out of your mind? You might not care about your reputation, but the company does."

"I..." Saffron was furious.

How could she have known that man would reject her and then loudly proclaim it?

Aren't men supposed to fall for women's tricks? Is she really that unattractive now?

How fat and ugly must she be for even a lowly manager to despise her? It made her livid!

"Juniper, do you have the right to criticize me? Haven't you done the same thing?"

"Don't compare me to you. I rely on my abilities."

"Yeah, the ability to seduce men," Saffron hated her beauty. It was because she was pretty that she could close deals, while Saffron was despised.

"You're really stupid! If you have no skills and no brains, just stay put. No one expects anything from you. But you shouldn't do shameless things that disgrace the company. If this gets out, the company's reputation will be ruined."

"Stop acting all high and mighty. You have your own issues, so stop pretending to be so pure!"

"You did something wrong and don't even repent?" Kieran said coldly.

If it weren't for her status, he would have fired her immediately!

"What did I do wrong? I'm being framed. Which eye of yours saw me throwing myself at that man? You believe his one-sided story and come to scold me. Do you believe I won't tell my dad and have him fire you?"

Juniper sneered, "Go ahead, tell him. I also want Dad to know just how low you've sunk!"

"Dad will believe me," Saffron insisted. "You guys are just ganging up on me."

"Kieran, stop pretending to be a gentleman. Haven't you been bewitched by this bitch Juniper? Always helping her against me."

"What? Do you think she's so noble? This woman is filthy, with more men than you can count."

"Just the ones she brings home, there have been three in just a few months, not to mention those she's cheating with outside."

"What kind of good person dates seven or eight men at once? She's just good at pretending. And you men are stupid, only looking at her face and believing her."

"She has a boyfriend but is always with you. Don't you find that suspicious? You're just her second choice! As a pleaser, are you happy to please her?"

Kieran replied, "Juniper and I are colleagues. We go in and out together for work. It's you who are dirty-minded, thinking everyone else is like you."

"The dirty one isn't me, it's you hypocrites. One pretends to be a goddess, the other a gentleman. But everyone knows what's really going on between you two. Is it fun to deceive yourselves?"

If this continued, Kieran would be infuriated by her.

As the saying goes, don't argue with fools.

"Let this be a lesson to you. If it happens again, you'll be fired immediately, no exceptions."

Saffron was defiant, "Pretentious! The company belongs to my dad. I'll have you fired instead."

With that, she slammed the door and left.

Kieran shook his head repeatedly, "I've met many strange people in my years of work, but someone like Saffron is a first. She really infuriates me."

"Don't bother with her. She's too stupid to realize it. I'm used to it. If I really got angry, I'd have been driven mad by her long ago."

"That's true. It's not easy for you to put up with her for so many years. I feel for you."

"I feel for you too. You have to explain to that person, is that okay?"

"He and I are on good terms. He won't report it to the company."

"That's good."

Kieran rubbed his temples, "But even if we solve this problem, there's no guarantee she won't do it again. I really don't want to take that risk with her. Why don't you persuade Mr. Cooper to take her home?"

"I've tried, but she's good at acting cute. Every time she begs my dad, he softens. So we can only wait for her to make a mistake big enough for my dad to make up his mind."

"Seems like that's the only way."

The two couldn't help but sympathize with each other. Their work wasn't the hardest part; dealing with a fool's mess was.

After the argument, Saffron went downstairs for afternoon tea in a bad mood.

As soon as she entered the restaurant, she felt all kinds of strange looks, as if they were mocking her.

Saffron clenched her fists and turned to leave.

"Ms. Cooper, where are you going?"

"Back. Do you want me to stay here and be laughed at?"

"Who dares to laugh at you? You're overthinking it."

Bianca knew Saffron's scandal had spread throughout the company, but she still said, "Everyone knows you're the CEO's daughter. How could you throw yourself at a small client? It's impossible."

"Everyone knows that client must have framed you."

"Really?" Saffron was skeptical, still feeling their looks were off, as if they were talking behind her back.

"Of course. There are plenty of clients like that. Everyone knows how to tell the difference."

Bianca coaxed her, and Juniper reluctantly walked in.

"I'll get you a cake."

Behind Saffron sat a table of women, busy gossiping, unaware of her presence.

"Do you think what they say about Saffron is true?"

"I think it's probably true. The client had no reason to frame her. They say he's quite upright. And if he was the one making advances, would he have announced it? I heard he was very angry."

"But why would Saffron do that? She doesn't lack men."

"For performance, or maybe she really liked him and wanted to sleep with him. Haha."

"Don't think rich girls are all that. Many of them are actually very promiscuous. Didn't the media report a rich girl working as a sex worker recently? Many of them are mentally twisted."

"Right, I think Saffron is brainless. What kind of decisions does she make? It's laughable."

"Say that again?"

Saffron's sudden appearance startled them.

"Ms. Cooper..." The women trembled.

"Weren't you talking so energetically just now? Why stop?"

"Go on, say I'm promiscuous? Say I'm mentally twisted?"

"We... we didn't say that."

"You misheard. We were talking about someone else."

"Do you take me for a fool? Who are you to talk behind my back? What do you think you are?"

Saffron picked up a cup of coffee and splashed it on their faces.
