Chapter 831 Is He Pretending to Be Drunk?
Juniper had a hard time getting Anthony into the hotel.
"I'm so hot." She was sweating profusely, feeling like she was about to shed a layer of skin. "You, lie down properly, don't move."
She wanted him to lie on the bed, but Anthony grabbed her, and they both fell down together.
Juniper was startled.
Luckily, she was on top. If he had pressed down on her, it would have hurt her stomach.
"I'll get you a towel. Let go of me first, Anthony."
She pushed against his chest, trying to get up.
"Anthony."
"Juniper, I love you so much." Anthony, drunk, held her and mumbled, "So much, so much."
"Don't go, stay with me."
"How can you be so cute?"
"Kiss me." Anthony, drunk, leaned in to kiss her.
Juniper felt helpless. How was she cute? The cute one was clearly the drunk Anthony, acting like a clingy child.
"Let go of me first, I'll be right back."
"No, I won't. If I let go, you'll run away, and then I won't be able to find you."
Anthony said childishly, "You're mine, I can't let you run away."
"I'm already pregnant with your baby, where could I run to?"
Knowing he was too drunk to listen, Juniper mumbled softly.
"Pregnant, with my baby?"
Did he understand? Juniper was worried, but then she heard him say, "Yeah, let's get pregnant tonight, come... let's make love."
Juniper was both amused and exasperated.
"Stop it."
"I'm not kidding, I want to have a baby with you, one as beautiful as you."
"And as smart as me." Anthony, lost in his own fantasy, smiled foolishly. "Our baby will be so cute."
"Of course, with our genes, it has to be."
If it was a daughter, she would be stunning. If it was a son, he would be handsome and attract many girls.
Juniper hoped for a son first, so he could take care of his future sister. How nice that would be.
"Wife, I want a kiss." Anthony offered his lips.
"Who's your wife? Don't call me that."
"You are my wife. I won't let you run away. I will marry you. Wife, give me a kiss."
Juniper thought it was funny. She decided she couldn't let him drink anymore.
When he was drunk, he turned into a clingy child. Men could be so adorable when they acted spoiled.
She felt both annoyed and sweetly touched, her heart melting for him.
"Alright, one kiss." Juniper leaned down and pecked his lips, but Anthony immediately cupped the back of her head and deepened the kiss.
It was as if their bodies had a mind of their own, deeply entangled, making Juniper blush.
He, he couldn't be pretending to be drunk, could he?
"Anthony, don't take off my clothes."
"Anthony."
Aren't men supposed to be unable to perform when they're drunk? Why were his movements even more skilled than usual?
Juniper was confused.
His hands were unbuttoning her clothes.
"Anthony." Juniper squirmed, but her movements were weak, melted by his warm breath.
He was drunk now; he wouldn't hurt the baby, right?
But what was happening to her body? Why was she so soft and accepting, as if she also longed for intimacy?
'Juniper, what's wrong with you?' she thought.
Life says, if you can't resist, then enjoy it.
Juniper closed her eyes, ready to let him do as he wished.
Suddenly, his weight pressed down on her.
She was stunned.
What the heck! He passed out!
At this moment, when she was already...
Juniper blushed with embarrassment, once again feeling both amused and exasperated by him.
She gently pushed him aside and got a towel to wipe his face.
This face was really handsome, with well-defined features, a high nose bridge, and skin smoother than a woman's. His long eyelashes fluttered like fans, incredibly gentle.
What a beautiful man.
"Juniper, Juniper..." Anthony mumbled in his drunken state, "I... love you... love... you..."
"I love you too." Juniper smiled softly and kissed his lips.
After wiping him down, Juniper washed her face and called Aaron to say she wouldn't be coming home tonight. She didn't explain much and hung up quickly.
On the other side.
Aaron frowned deeply after the call.
Elara walked in, muttering, "It's past eleven and she's still not back. What does she think this place is? A motel or a hotel?"
"A girl playing around outside, and you don't care. If something happens, it will be our Cooper family's reputation that's tarnished."
"She won't be coming back tonight," Aaron said.
"Not coming back? She just got home and is already staying out all night. She said she came back to be with you, but she's out there having fun with some man. Who knows which man this time."
"It's Anthony. She should be with Anthony."
"How casual. Can't wait to spend the night out. She knows you disapprove, but she still wants to be with Anthony, just to spite you?"
"Anthony has a bad reputation now. If they get involved, she'll be called a mistress, and our Cooper family's name will be ruined."
"Honey, are you just going to let her do this? Do you want her to cause trouble?"
"What can I do?" Aaron was at a loss.
"I have an idea. Tomorrow, call her..." Elara whispered in his ear.
"Who did you find? Are they reliable? Juniper won't like them."
"You can't let her do whatever she wants. You need to control her!"
"I was too controlling before, and we ended up in a stalemate."
"That's because you were too lenient. You need to assert your authority as the head of the family, make her listen to you, not the other way around."
"Will that work?"
"Just follow my plan."
The next day.
Sunlight fell on his eyelids.
His head was dizzy and aching.
Anthony opened his sore eyes.
A hotel?
How did he end up here?
"You're awake?" Juniper put down her phone and crawled to his side. "You slept long enough. It's already eleven-thirty, time for lunch."
She lay on her side, propping her head up, her long hair cascading down, her bare face smooth and delicate, fresh and charming.
Anthony felt like he was seeing an angel.
This angel was his treasure.
Anthony smiled, "Morning."
Waking up to see her was the happiest thing.
"It's already eleven-thirty, and you call it morning."
"Sorry, I drank too much last night."
"You know you drank too much? Then why did you drink? Ronnie is an idiot. Why compete with an idiot? Doesn't that make you an idiot too?"
"I'd rather be an idiot than lose to your ex-boyfriend."
"Actually... if I told you Ronnie isn't my ex-boyfriend, would you feel like you drank for nothing?"
