Chapter 483 Drunk
Susan groggily watched Caleb's face get closer, feeling his hot breath on her skin.
She could've dodged but didn't want to. She even looked forward to it.
Their lips met, and Caleb kissed her gently.
His lips were so soft. Why did she like it so much? Susan wondered.
Her hand, still holding the can, wrapped around his neck. She tilted her head back, deepening the kiss.
Susan was almost out of breath.
Encouraged by her response, Caleb, who planned to stop after a light kiss, couldn't hold back. He held her waist, pressing her into his chest. His other hand, shaking with nerves, moved to her front.
Slowly, he unbuttoned one button, then another...
Just as things heated up, Susan suddenly tilted her head and collapsed into Caleb's chest.
Caleb was both amused and exasperated.
Susan always knew how to torment him.
Susan had an embarrassing dream where she and Caleb drank and kissed passionately.
When she woke up, she touched her lips, feeling like his breath was still there.
How could she dream that?
Then she saw a few empty cans.
Did they drink last night?
Was it real? Did they kiss after drinking? And then...
Susan's face turned bright red, even her neck flushed.
No way.
She lifted the blanket. She was in pajamas, not yesterday's clothes.
Susan panicked, feeling hot and prickly.
Her head buzzed, unable to think clearly.
Then the bathroom water stopped.
Caleb walked out with a towel loosely wrapped around his waist. His strong chest was in full view, muscles like a statue. Even Greek god statues couldn't compare.
Drinking, changing clothes, showering?
All signs pointed to post-drinking sex.
"Awake?" Caleb's hair was wet, his eyes dreamy, smiling at her.
Susan swallowed, wanting to speak but couldn't.
Seeing her face turn red and pale, Caleb laughed. "What's wrong? Scared?"
"You, I... we..." Susan stammered.
Caleb smirked, walking towards her.
"Don't come over." Susan shrank back, making a stop gesture.
"Don't you have questions? Don't you want answers?"
"Talk from there, don't come closer."
"No, I need to get closer to answer." Caleb said, tossing the towel aside, supporting himself on the bed, inching closer.
"I said don't come over."
Susan, anxious, kicked him, but he grabbed her foot easily. With no effort, he pulled her under him, his strength terrifying.
Susan looked at his handsome face in panic. "Let me go..."
The more she struggled, the more helpless she felt. Caleb seemed to enjoy this cat-and-mouse game, letting her almost break free before pulling her back. Over and over, he found it amusing.
Susan's face turned red with frustration. How dare he tease her!
She glared at him, her face about to explode with anger.
"Caleb, are you done?"
"Looks like you're the one who likes to play, and I'm just going along," Caleb said, smiling mischievously.
To Susan, it was infuriating but also oddly charming. She couldn't resist, her body tingling.
"Let me go!"
"You know I can't, Susan." His eyes burned with determination.
"Don't you want to know what we did last night? How about I help you relive it?"
He smiled wickedly, making Susan's body go soft. Before she knew it, Caleb kissed her. She tried to push him away, but he held her hands, intertwining his fingers with hers, pressing them into the bed.
His kissing skills were too good. Susan wanted to resist but found herself responding.
Caleb lifted his head, smiling proudly. "Your body is more honest than your mouth."
Susan was furious. "I'll sue you for rape!"
"If the police saw, they'd think it was consensual, a burst of true feelings."
"How could I be willing? Don't flatter yourself, Caleb!" Susan wanted to bite him.
"Damn douchebag, you took advantage of me!" she accused.
"You were the one who suggested drinking last night."
"I was just feeling down and wanted to drink a little..."
"But do you know what it means when a woman invites a man to drink? It's not just about drinking. To a man, it means..."
"Means what? That I'm inviting you? Only a shameless douchebag would think that!" Susan was about to faint from anger. She regretted wanting to let loose last night.
But in Caleb's eyes, it had changed. He actually thought she was...
She was too naive!
"You really are a little fool." Caleb chuckled, kissing her forehead.
"Don't touch me." Susan glared. "Caleb, if you did anything to me last night, I'll kill you."
"Then what should I do? We did everything we should and shouldn't do. Now you can only do it back..." He offered himself, but Susan was on high alert, ready to kick him.
"Get away! Don't touch me!"
She was like a cat with its fur standing on end, making Caleb want to laugh.
"Why are you so easy to tease? I'm not a saint, but I'm not that bad."
So they didn't...
But how could he pass up such a good opportunity?
Susan was half-believing, suspiciously looking at him. "Didn't we drink last night?"
Caleb nodded.
"And the clothes I'm wearing aren't from yesterday, you changed them?"
Caleb nodded again.
"You—despicable!" Susan said, raising her hand to slap him.
