Chapter 103  Admitting Mistakes

Yves carefully examined the phone in Natalie's hand. Yes, it was indeed his! The members of the Clark family used Natalie's birthday to make it easier for her to remember the password, so she paid without any worries.

Yves twitched his mouth, suddenly missing his sister, who bought a yacht to save money!

Although the amount of thirty million dollars wasn't significant to him, its sudden disappearance left him feeling empty. He comforted himself by holding his chest, thinking that it was only right for his sister to spend however much money she wanted.
Moreover, it was just thirty million!

He thought, ‘Forget it, as long as she was happy.’

Starshadow Clark had become familiar with him, rubbing against his leg and rarely acting cute towards him. He shifted his attention, carrying Starshadow Clark to play elsewhere.

Throughout the afternoon, besides the negative news about Natalie rapidly rising to the top search, "rich baby" instantly dominated various trending topics.

One user said: [I've never seen before that rich people buy things without asking for the price.]

The second user joked: [Rich people really treat wealth as their name, huh?]

Another user chimed in: [No matter how old she is, I want to marry her, no, I must marry her!]

One user added: [Who is this rich, mysterious baby?]

Natalie arranged the address, happily put down Yves' phone, and found her phone, seeing seven missed calls. One call was from Gabriel, four from Blair, and the last two were from Kelly and Charlie.

She was about to call Kelly back when her phone rang again. She thought, ‘Is it Blair again?’

A cold smile appeared on Natalie's lips. She thought, ‘Looks like he is in a hurry.’

Although he had pushed himself into a corner, making the whole world criticize her, she held the emerald ring in her hand. With such a bargaining chip, what was there to be afraid of?

Natalie paused, casually answering the phone, "Hello?"

The butler breathed a sigh of relief, excitedly looking at Blair. "Mr. Kensington, she answered!"

Natalie chuckled at the words, and Blair glared at the butler, calmly taking the phone. "Natalie, do you realize your mistake?"

Natalie slightly frowned and knowingly asked, "Mistake? Mr. Kensington, I don't understand. What mistake have I made?"

Blair snorted, full of momentum, "How have you been these days? I heard you haven't even been to the company. Did the Clark Group kick you out? I've always said you should know when to stop. The threshold of a noble family isn't as low as you think. Not everyone is as foolish as Gabriel to be fooled by you."

Natalie raised her lips, calmly smiling, "Thank you for your concern. I’ve been quite well these days. I've always dreamed of living a life where I don't have to do anything."

She focused every day on spending money. What could be more enjoyable than that?

"Even in this situation, you still insist on being stubborn?" Blair couldn't believe she was so indifferent.

"Mr. Kensington, do you have anything else to say? If not, I'll hang up." She didn't want to waste time on unworthy people.

She knew well that Blair called to ridicule her.

However, she was afraid that he would be sorely disappointed! Whether it was Gabriel or Blair, they were all the same. She wouldn't let them laugh at her.

Blair fell silent for a few seconds, his voice lowering. "Natalie, no matter what you do, you can't whitewash your past unless I speak a few good words for you in the name of the Kensington family. Do you understand?"

He had already hinted to this extent that Natalie wouldn't fail to understand; she had no way out.

Natalie raised an eyebrow and sneered, "In fact, the situation I'm facing now is all thanks to you. Do you think I'll be grateful to you for the little favor you're about to bestow upon me? You're thinking too highly of yourself, aren't you?"

"You have no choice." Blair was confident and straightforward. "As long as you return the emerald ring to me, I'll make the online critics stop attacking you, and I'll even let you manage a small company under the Kensington Group, making your days a bit better."
