Chapter 318 Find the Exit

Natalie's expression was somewhat surprised, while Emily was very disappointed. She wanted to blame Natalie for choosing the wrong path, but considering Natalie's status and the opinions of their online followers, she chose to keep quiet and instead comforted her, "Since there's no way forward, should we head back?"

If it weren't for Natalie's stubbornness, they wouldn't have come here, and she wouldn't have sprained her ankle!

Natalie frowned as she studied the map. Something was off. According to the map, there was only one path in this direction, and it led through the cave.

How could there be no way?

"If the map is correct, then the exit is inside this cave."

Natalie said as she walked to the blocked area. She looked around, planning to move a stone.

She tried hard but couldn't move it.

Frowning deeply, she searched for clues everywhere. Suddenly, she looked up. Above her were dark, damp stones covered in moss.

The flashlight's beam carefully scanned over the moss. Natalie stared at each patch of moss.

She suddenly froze.

It was a handprint!

Seeing this, she was so excited she almost jumped up!

Even though the show crew was the most professional adventure team, the more they pursued authenticity, the harder it was to erase human traces.

Natalie stepped on a nearby stone, carefully tiptoeing to look above. The damp, slippery stones were filthy and muddy.

She saw a gap between the stones, with a faint, non-dazzling light.

She gently reached her hand towards the gap, feeling the cool breeze from outside.

The gap was about a few dozen centimeters wide and very long, only allowing one person to crawl through at a time.

Natalie breathed a sigh of relief, jumped down, and looked at Emily.

"The exit is up there. Do you want to go first, or should I?"

Emily hesitated, looking at the narrow passage above, clearly surprised.

"But what if it's the wrong way?"

Natalie frowned, "How will we know unless we try? Or do you have a better idea about the route?"

Emily hadn't voiced any opinions along the way and had even sprained her ankle.

She bit her lower lip, "I sprained my ankle, you go first."

Natalie nodded.

She took out gloves from her backpack and carefully stepped on the stones, but the height was still not enough.

Natalie looked at her follow-cam director, who immediately looked away.

"If you don't help me now, don't expect me to wait for you later."

The follow-cam director weakly whispered, "We're not allowed to help."

Natalie raised an eyebrow, just about to try jumping again when someone held her leg and pushed her up.

With the help from below, climbing up was much easier.

The follow-cam director smiled, handed up the camera, and extended his hand, "My turn."

'Weren't you not supposed to help?' Natalie pursed her lips.

The live chat was filled with laughter:

[Ms. Clark's dominance can't be ignored!]

[Director: How dare you threaten me? Fine, I accept the threat!]

[A director needing help from the guest should have their pay docked!]

The two of them struggled to climb up. The gap was really small; if they were any fatter, they wouldn't have fit through.

Natalie carefully slowed her movements, inching her way out.

When she could see everything outside, she was suddenly a bit overwhelmed.

Outside was an open space with no tools to support them, and the height was even greater than expected.

This wasn't an adventure; it was a death trap!
