Chapter 328 Normal Interactions
Blair smiled, "Actually, we wronged Natalie before. If we get the chance, we should make it up to her."
Ulysses waved his hand, "They're just kids who didn't know any better. What's past is past. Natalie doesn't mind anymore, so we shouldn't dwell on it. Let's just interact normally."
"Didn't know any better." Gabriel softly repeated, his dim eyes flickering slightly before he curled his lips into a smile.
"Yeah, we should interact normally from now on." He looked up at Natalie and gave a meaningful smile.
Noticing the intense gaze from across the table, Natalie instinctively glanced over and saw Gabriel staring at her, his eyes filled with a gentle smile.
'Why is he smiling?'
Natalie felt a lump in her throat and instantly lost her appetite.
She put down her fork and rolled her eyes at him.
To her surprise, Gabriel didn't get angry; instead, his smile deepened.
Seeing her flustered and unable to curse him, Gabriel suddenly found Natalie very cute. Even her eye-rolling looked so attractive. How had he not noticed this before?
Ulysses and Blair were engrossed in their conversation, while Victor glanced at Natalie and Gabriel.
They were exchanging looks, and the atmosphere seemed to be heading in an uncontrollable direction.
"By the way, Mr. Gabriel Kensington, I heard the Kensington family lost quite a few ships at sea. If you need help, the Clark family can assist with transportation."
Victor smiled, appropriately changing the subject to draw Gabriel's attention away.
Just as Natalie was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Gabriel said "Okay" and started smiling at her again.
Natalie's expression turned impatient. Was he ever going to stop?
What game was he playing?
She immediately turned to Ulysses, "Dad, I just remembered I have an appointment with Kelly. I need to go."
They had already said what needed to be said; the rest was unimportant.
Ulysses nodded. "Alright, go ahead."
Natalie smiled, "Goodbye, Dad. Goodbye, Mr. Blair Kensington."
After speaking, she grabbed her things and walked out.
But she hadn't gone far when Gabriel followed her.
"Natalie."
Natalie turned back impatiently. Since when had Gabriel become so clingy?
"Mr. Kensington, do you need something?"
Her voice was extremely cold. Just because they had a meal together didn't mean their relationship was suddenly close.
That meal was just for show.
Gabriel looked at her cold eyes and was slightly taken aback. He stepped closer, trying to control his emotions, remaining calm and gentle.
His deep, dark eyes stared at her, his cold demeanor subtly intimidating.
"Your dad just said we should interact normally. You need to listen."
His voice was cool and restrained.
Natalie frowned. "That's not what he meant."
"What did I mean, then?"
Gabriel curled his lips.
Natalie was at a loss for words. "Who knows what you meant?"
As soon as she finished speaking, her phone was suddenly snatched from her hand. In the blink of an eye, it was in Gabriel's hand.
Gabriel's long, elegant fingers tapped on her phone screen, removing his number from the blacklist.
"From now on, you can't block my number at will. Otherwise, I'll tell your dad."
Natalie was stunned!
He said such a shameless thing so righteously?
Ulysses clearly meant for him to keep his distance!
Natalie was about to go crazy. Did Gabriel have a problem with comprehension?
