Chapter 323 Limping Lies
In an instant, Natalie suddenly felt her body being uncontrollably constricted. Her face turned pale, and before she could react, she was already dozens of feet above the sea.
She let out a high-pitched scream, but it was quickly drowned out by the salty sea breeze. Her heart felt like it was about to leap out of her chest!
It was as if her body was out of control, moving at an incredible speed, driven by the wind. The parasail above her quickly filled with tension, and they glided swiftly with the speedboat, the sea breeze stinging her face but feeling exhilarating at the same time!
Natalie had never felt this way before. In that moment, she realized how small and fragile her life was, yet it felt incredibly vibrant and powerful.
Challenging the limits of life could really be addictive!
Once Rex steadied himself, he went over to hold Natalie's shoulders, helping her stabilize her position and direction.
Natalie panted heavily, her eyes brimming with excitement.
"This is so awesome!"
Rex chuckled, not forgetting his task, and pointed to a small sailboat not far away.
Natalie went over and carefully identified the letters formed by the small sailboats.
"H TV Station."
Natalie cursed under her breath. What the heck?
Could it be that this TV station bought the rights to this show?
Rex was also a bit surprised, but at least they had the answer now.
They returned to the speedboat, and Natalie's heart was still racing. But since they had the answer, they didn't hesitate and started heading back.
It seemed like they had found the answer smoothly, but the online comments were exploding!
[Natalie is about to cry from anxiety.]
[Natalie looks so anxious, I'm about to cry just watching this!]
[Too bad Rex doesn't know anything. Someone should tell him to watch the replay.]
After waiting at the original gathering point for a long time, Felix and Dominic finally arrived with Emily, who was limping.
Dominic was supporting Emily as they walked slowly.
Felix looked upset, striding ahead without hiding his displeasure.
The staff nearby were also cautious, not daring to say much.
Natalie found it strange, as Felix rarely got angry with others.
The director, who had been waiting for a long time, held a megaphone and loudly summarized the ending.
Natalie and Rex stood together, clapping politely, without asking Felix and the others what had happened.
It wasn't until everyone got into their cars and headed to H TV Station for the final interview.
There was no live broadcast in the car, so it was more relaxed.
Demi prepared food and drinks for Natalie, but before she could take a sip, the car door opened, and Felix climbed in.
He grabbed the coffee from Demi's hand and gulped it down.
Natalie pursed her lips, "Didn't expect you to come back so much later than us?"
Felix looked furious. "Why did we choose Emily in the first place? She has no common sense.
What's worse, Dominic and I carried her up the mountain and back down, only to find out that the leg she was limping on wasn't even the same one each time. She was faking it the whole way!"
Natalie couldn't help but laugh. She never imagined it would turn out like this!
Felix, seething with anger, devoured all the snacks Demi had prepared for Natalie.
Natalie didn't mind; she was actually feeling a bit schadenfreude. Luckily, she didn't choose Emily for the second round and switched teammates in time!
