Chapter 227 Natalie is Not Wrong
Natalie and Yves were both in the loop about the whole mess.
They just didn't want to roast Clara and Mary out of respect for Oliver.
Ulysses was always the protective type, and now these two had the nerve to act up in his house.
Clara had it coming!
Her face was twisted with anger and resentment.
She tried to play the family card but ended up losing big time!
The servants were all snickering at her!
Ulysses and Natalie's attitude made her face turn beet red with rage!
Clara was totally triggered. "If it weren't for you, Oliver would have married me ages ago. The way I am now is all thanks to you! How dare you insult me like this?"
Natalie shot a cold glance at Clara and Mary, sneering.
With utter disdain, she said, "A mistress will always be a mistress. Know your place. The Clark family isn't just for anyone to waltz into. If you get a marriage certificate, the media will dig up your past. Everyone will know you climbed up as a mistress. What would that do to the Clark family's reputation?"
Natalie smiled, almost mockingly. "Just keep Oliver happy, and you might have some good days ahead. Otherwise, you're doomed."
Seeing Clara's face go ghostly pale, Natalie finally felt satisfied.
This was all Clara's doing!
Clara gritted her teeth, her voice sharp and harsh. "Natalie, are you threatening me? When you were hell-bent on marrying Gabriel, you lost all face. Why didn't you say you were disgracing the Clark family then? Do you think you can be all high and mighty just because you've reached this position?"
She thought Natalie would lose her cool and step up.
She was ready to put her in her place.
But in a flash, Clara felt the cold malice in the air.
Even the servants were glaring at her with hateful eyes.
Natalie's gaze froze for a moment, then turned icy and deep.
She walked closer, step by step, with a chilling but intimidating calm.
Her aura crushed Clara completely.
Mary swallowed hard. Looking at Ulysses and Yves, Mary thought their gazes could skin her alive!
Natalie's voice was calm and indifferent. "Ms. Campbell, do you really think coming here to scold me is something to be proud of? Just for what you said, you'll never have any connection with the Clark family in this lifetime."
Natalie's words hit them hard.
She was Ulysses' personally announced heir and had every right to decide their fate.
Mary's expression faltered for a moment. Her hands hung at her sides, clenching tightly. Her nails almost dug into her palms. "Natalie, my mom didn't mean it. She wasn't intentional. Please don't take it to heart."
Natalie was so rude and arrogant. She could insult them at will!
But Mary still didn't dare to offend Natalie openly!
Because Natalie had the right to say so!
Natalie's face was stern and cold, not wanting to say another word to them.
"See them out." As soon as she spoke, the butler stepped forward to escort the two out.
Clara was still wary of Natalie. Even though she was unwilling, she didn't dare to do anything.
She was trembling with anger! "Fine, you bully people like this. Do you think I care? I won't come even if you invite me in the future!"
After saying that, she dragged Mary away, the sound of her high heels clacking loudly, sharp and piercing!
As soon as they left the Clark Villa, Mary took out her phone to make a call.
Her voice was cold. "Natalie won't let me into the company."
Ulysses was fuming. Yves and Natalie could both feel it.
He stormed off to the study upstairs, slamming the door loudly.
The servants downstairs didn't dare to make a sound.
Natalie glanced at Yves. "This is the good show you were talking about?
Yves shrugged innocently. "Isn't it good?"
Natalie snorted coldly."Next time they come, just kick them out," she instructed the butler.
Since they had already shown their true colors, there was no need to consider them.
She didn't care about the two vain women at all.
