Chapter 218 Not a Good Person

Natalie's words threw the room into an awkward silence.

The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife.

"Natalie, what's your game here?" Gabriel finally asked, unable to hold back.

He'd done what she wanted—booted Lillian from the project and brought the Clark Group on board.

She'd called it compensation.

Once that was settled, they'd be square.

So, shouldn't he have a shot at getting back into her life?

He was dying to know what she was up to today.

Natalie turned her head slightly, giving him a cold, indifferent look. "Mr. Kensington, just because the past is behind us doesn't mean you get to meddle in my business, got it?"

They weren't even friends anymore.

So, he had no right to pry.

Her words made Gabriel's face go stone cold.

His dark eyes locked onto her.

Natalie turned away, looking at Vincent with a charming smile. "Mr. Turner, can we talk alone?"

Vincent didn't want to deal with Natalie, unsure of what she was planning.

"Natalie, what's your angle here?" Vincent's voice was icy.

Natalie smirked. "Isn't it obvious? I'm interested in you."

She couldn't have been more direct.

The expressions of everyone in the room shifted.

Leo's eyes widened in shock.

Was Natalie into Vincent?

The same Vincent who'd trashed her during their marriage?

And what about Gabriel?

When Gabriel heard this, the tension in the room skyrocketed.

A chilling coldness that was hard to ignore, even terrifying!

Vincent was also stiff, his face unreadable.

He stared at Natalie in horror, like she was a demon.

Had he done something wrong?

Was Natalie trying to get him killed?

A few days ago, after Gabriel found out how they'd treated her, he'd given them the cold shoulder.

They finally had a chance to make things right.

What was Natalie doing?

Vincent's cold expression showed a hint of panic as he glanced at Gabriel.

Just as he was about to speak, Natalie grabbed his arm and walked away.

Vincent tried to pull free, but they'd reached a crowded area.

Their struggle drew a lot of attention.

"Natalie, don't think just because you're from the Clark family, I'm scared of you. If it weren't for Gabriel…" Vincent stopped mid-sentence.

His face was cold as he said, "I'm not interested in you, so give it up."

To him, friends were still the most important.

Natalie chuckled softly, her back to the crowd, her expression hidden.

But their proximity sparked curiosity.

She raised her eyes, meeting Vincent's cold stare.

Her eyebrows arched slightly.

She suddenly grabbed Vincent's tie, pulling him closer.

The distance between them vanished.

Vincent almost bumped into her face.

His heart raced.

The stunning face in front of him smiled wickedly.

His heartbeat skipped a beat.

In his daze, he heard her whisper, "Do you really think you're that important? I'm not blind. Anyone who hangs out with Gabriel can't be a good person."

Her voice was ice cold.

Vincent's brow furrowed, his expression hardening.

Natalie definitely had bad intentions.

Just as he was about to push her away, a hand shoved him back.

Vincent, with his military background, stumbled several steps!

He looked up to find Gabriel standing there, his expression cold.

His gaze swept over Vincent before landing on Natalie.

His voice was low and cold. "Since when were you and Vincent so close?"
