Chapter 457 Just for Fun

Natalie lowered her eyes. "Forget it, I can't drag others down because of my selfishness."

She knew Gabriel wouldn't buy into just a simple photo.

He had just been caught off guard and angered by her words.

She looked away and smiled. "Good night, Mr. Williams."

"Good night."

She returned to her room.

Natalie took a shower, changed into some fresh clothes, and was then called over by Ulysses for a video call with the family.

Victor had some business matters to discuss with her.

After they finished their conversation, his brow still furrowed with concern, Yves jumped into the frame.

"Are you going to be with Robert?"

Natalie thought Yves was the biggest gossip in their family.

"No!"

She was exasperated.

Yves sighed in relief.

"That's good. Men are just for fun, don't take it seriously. If you do, there's no saving you."

Natalie was helpless.

Victor chimed in, "Yves has a point."

It was rare for him to agree with Yves.

They were genuinely worried about how Natalie was so cautious and humble when it came to love.

In their eyes, no one was good enough for Natalie.

Ulysses ended the call with a sigh and cleared his throat.

"Don't mind them, Natalie. You can be with whoever you want, rich or poor. Our family can handle it, right?"

Natalie blinked and couldn't help but laugh.

"Yes, but I still think making money is more important. After all, with money, you can have as many men as you want, right?"

Ulysses nodded seriously.

"That's the right attitude!"

Natalie smiled and left to go to bed.

The next day.

Gabriel had everything well-organized. Robert was leaving in the afternoon, but they were still together in the morning.

When they arrived in Novara, Natalie felt the gentle, romantic atmosphere in the air. It was warm and tender, like a sparkling gem, hard not to love.

Walking down the main street, there were no cars, and it felt like you could reach out and touch the essence of the 19th century. Time seemed to have stood still here.

Ulysses and Robert ended up walking together, deep in conversation.

Mike held Natalie's hand tightly, not wanting to let go.

This romantic trip with Natalie was something he would cherish forever.

Jagger was pushing Gabriel's wheelchair. Gabriel watched Natalie and Mike holding hands, feeling a sharp pang of jealousy, but he kept a warm, loving smile on his face.

In his heart, he thought Mike was just as annoying as Robert.

Seeing that Gabriel had no chance to be alone with Natalie, Jagger quickened his pace and bought a colorful cotton candy that looked as soft as a cloud.

He handed it to Gabriel.

Gabriel frowned at him, his expression cold.

"I don't eat this."

He gritted his teeth.

Jagger was momentarily stunned, his smile more like a grimace, feeling conflicted.

"It's for you to give to Ms. Clark."

Jagger suddenly understood why Gabriel needed help. On his own, he might never succeed.

But if Gabriel kept this up, he might end up in the Serenity River himself.

Gabriel responded and took the cotton candy. Jagger didn't dare laugh at him and quickly waved to Natalie.

"Ms. Clark,"

Natalie turned around.

Jagger pushed Gabriel over to her.

"Mr. Kensington saw this cotton candy and thought Ms. Clark would love it. He knows girls shouldn't eat too much sugar, but he hopes Ms. Clark can be as happy as this cotton candy every day!"
