Chapter 219 Whose Side Are You On
Everyone was watching the scene unfold.
It was obvious Vincent and Natalie were pretty tight.
And Gabriel was fuming.
People started whispering and guessing what was going on.
The drama among the rich was always so unpredictable.
Gabriel's words made Natalie chuckle.
Who did he think he was to butt into her business?
She just raised an eyebrow and stayed quiet.
Vincent, on the other hand, was quick to defend himself. "Gabriel, I'm not close to her at all!"
Gabriel didn't even bother to look at him, nor was he listening.
Leo, who was nearby, couldn't help but chime in, "Not close? You look pretty close to me."
Vincent's face twisted in annoyance. "Whose side are you on?"
Was Leo a spy for Natalie or something?
Leo, feeling the heat from Vincent's military background, backed off and hid behind Gabriel.
Gabriel was waiting for Natalie's answer.
If she stayed quiet, he wasn't going to let it slide.
Natalie saw this and smirked.
Her eyes sparkled with mischief. "Come on, we've known each other for three years. How could we not be close?"
Vincent had been cursing her for three years. It was unforgettable!
Leo nodded. "Exactly."
Both Vincent and Gabriel shot him a dangerous look.
Just then, Kelly walked over with Natalie's phone in her hand, acting like she had no clue what was happening.
She smiled at Natalie, saying, "Your phone rang. Want to take the call?"
Natalie sighed in relief, then she grabbed the phone and left without a word.
Kelly quickly followed her.
"Did we get what we needed?" Natalie asked.
Kelly laughed. "Got the photos. They're perfect."
Especially the one where she pulled the tie. So cool!
Meanwhile, Gabriel was still fuming.
Natalie felt a bit relieved. At least her reluctant seduction worked!
But Gabriel's reaction was a bit much.
Natalie and Kelly decided to find a quiet spot to check out the photos.
But as they turned a corner, they overheard some socialites heading to the restroom.
"Natalie drove Lillian away? No way."
"Lillian is a big deal in Starhaven, even tougher than the guys. How could Natalie drive her away?"
Then Angela chimed in, "Natalie's so petty. She gets jealous and uses her family's power to mess with others. Lillian didn't want to deal with her, so she left."
Everyone nodded like they understood.
Angela, pleased with herself, lowered her voice but made sure everyone could still hear. "Natalie cares so much about her reputation. Want to see her embarrassed?"
The group exchanged glances, too scared to speak.
Their families had warned them: don't mess with the Clarks, especially Natalie.
Angela scoffed, "Fine, if you won't, I will! But I need your help."
Kelly and Natalie exchanged a look.
Bad news always seemed to pop up on the way to the restroom.
And they just happened to catch this juicy plan!
They turned back and found a spot to sit.
In a few minutes, Angela showed up with a few girls.
She scanned the room and spotted Natalie.
Kelly leaned in. "Should we leave early?"
Natalie smirked, "Nah, let's have some fun with her. We're bored anyway."
Kelly shrugged while Natalie looked excited.
Angela walked over alone, her usual arrogance gone. She looked sincere, humble, and honest. "Dear."
Kelly made a gagging gesture. "Sorry, couldn't help it."
She raised her hand in mock apology.
