Chapter 111 Natalie is Prohibited to Enter
Ulysses raised an eyebrow, glanced at Gabriel, then shook his head. "I wouldn't dare. Someone as outstanding as Mr. Kensington, my daughter wouldn't be a match for him."
Blair paused for a moment, then changed the subject with a smile. "By the way, the Clark Group must be in a mess because of Natalie's scandal. The stock market has even started to fluctuate."
Alyssa held Angela's hand and quietly asked, "Did you really see clearly? Is it possible that Natalie would be here at this time?"
"How could I be wrong? My mom was there too," Angela answered.
Alyssa's eyes paused, and she followed Angela'ssteps. When they reached the second floor and looked down, they saw so many people in various formal attire, making it impossible for them to recognize anyone specifically.
"It's hard to find her," Alyssa said.
Angela touched her hair and then said, "I don't know where she's hiding, but since she's here, she won't leave easily. Just watch. She's probably here to force a marriage! Because she has no other way out, she can only force the Clark family to marry her."
Alyssa felt that theshow was about to start!
Alyssa suppressed the excitement in her heart. Could it be that Natalie was finally cornered?
Her eyes flickered slightly, and she grabbed Angela's hand. "I see her. She's over there!"
She pointed towards the entrance, and upon closer inspection, it was indeed Natalie. She was wearing an ordinary dress and talking to someone at the door, who handed her a bouquet of flowers, which Natalie accepted.
"Weren't you abroad? How did you come back?" Natalie asked.
Charlie, tall and handsome, stood in the shadows in a well-tailored suit, smiling charmingly.
"Today is an important day for you. How could I miss it? I'll leave right after the banquet is over tonight," Charlie answered.
Natalie was momentarily dazzled by his smile, and her hands holding the flowers paused. "Quinn is also here. Aren't you going to say hello?"
Charlie shook his head and spread his hands helplessly. "If he doesn't beat me to death, he'll be infuriated by me again. Why bother? In a few days, it'll be my brother's death anniversary. The project I'm working on abroad is almost done, so he won't have any reason to force me anymore."
Natalie smiled and then said, "Alright, then I'll wait for your next return."
"Deal." Charlie took a step forward when she wasn't paying attention and hugged her. "I'm so happy for you to return to your true identity."
Just as Natalie was about to push him away, Charlie let go instantly. "You go ahead. I need to find a place to hide before my dad sees me."
She nodded and turned around, only to see Gabriel standing not far away, staring at her with deep eyes and a cold frown.
She paused in her steps as Gabriel strode towards her.
"What a coincidence, Mr. Kensington!" Natalie raised an eyebrow and smiled.
She thoguht, 'Wasn't the last scolding enough for him? Why does he come over again?'
Gabriel stared at her coldly, his tone stiff. "Why are you here? And hugging other men?"
He was already shocked to see Natalie, but to see her openly hugging Charlie made his anger surge uncontrollably. He immediately walked over.
Natalie glanced around, luckily no one noticed.
"Can't I be here? Who says so? Is there a sign at the door saying 'Natalie is prohibited'?" she snapped.
"What kind of occasion is this? Don't you think your reputation is bad enough?" Garbrie retorted.
He thought, 'Her entanglement with Victor isalready scandalous, and now she's hugging Charlie. She really doesn'tknow what's good for her.'
"Isn't my reputation today all thanks to you people?" she scoffed.
She thought, 'How dare he still come and mock me? He is ridiculous!'
In Gabriel's eyes, she looked like a rogue.
When she spoke, her lips curled into a mocking smile, making it unclear whether she was laughing at him or mocking herself.
Gabriel, like everyone else, believed that she was the last person who should appear at this time and place.
He thought itwas inappropriate for her to be here.
He thought she didn't deserve to enter their high society.
"What do you want, Natalie?" Gabriel asked.
