Chapter 303 Let's Talk

Natalie shot Felix a serious look. Wanting him or his heart was pointless.

Besides, no matter how passionately he spoke, Natalie knew he was after her money, which made her feel no burden.

Without another word, Felix took the money and left.

Hearing their conversation, Kelly and Mia couldn't help but laugh so hard they almost fell over.

Kelly patted her on the shoulder. "You've got the makings of a rich lady."

Natalie brushed a stray hair behind her ear. "I already am a rich lady."

The music was blaring.

Everyone around was minding their own business, wisely not prying into the details.

Natalie had drunk quite a bit and felt a little dizzy. She stood up, intending to go out, wash her face, and get some fresh air to sober up.

Who would have thought that as soon as she opened the door, she would bump into someone?

The woman let out a sharp scream, as if she had touched something dirty, her voice full of disdain. "Are you blind? Can you afford to pay for this outfit? Can't you even walk properly?"

Hearing the somewhat familiar voice, Natalie sobered up.

She raised her head with a half-smile, looking at her. "Mrs. Kensington, what a coincidence?"

The woman she bumped into was Wendy.

Wendy's body stiffened as soon as she heard the voice. She looked up and, sure enough, it was Natalie.

She had come here to find out about Angela's whereabouts, to no avail.

Just now, she was so focused on venting her anger that she didn't even see who it was before she started cursing.

It turned out to be Natalie.

Her expression changed several times.

In the past, she could curse as she pleased, but now that Natalie was the daughter of the Clark family, her status was naturally different.

Moreover, Blair had repeatedly warned her not to provoke Natalie; Angela was a case in point.

She was unwilling, but she had to listen.

"So it's you." Wendy's voice was faint, no longer as arrogant as before.

She didn't like her; she hadn't forgotten the announcement Gabriel made in the Kensington family after Natalie came back alive that the person he would marry in the future would definitely be Natalie. Anyone who dared to mess with her behind his back would face his wrath.

Even Blair agreed with this.

Natalie curled her lips, looking at her expensive outfit, not a single wrinkle on it. "How much? I'll pay you."

"No need." Wendy wouldn't provoke her, but she wouldn't flatter her either.

It was not like she was short of money.

Natalie didn't want to say more. If she didn't want it, fine. She didn't want to waste money anyway.

The door behind her was wide open, and inside, Kelly jokingly urged her, "Hurry back, Natalie. Your thirteen boyfriends are waiting for you."

Natalie couldn't help but snicker, waved her hand, and was about to leave when she heard Wendy call out to her. "Wait."

Natalie stopped in her tracks. "What's up?"

Wendy, with a long face, looked at her. "Natalie, let's talk."

"Talk about what?" Natalie didn't think there was anything to talk about between her and Wendy.

"Come with me." Wendy turned coldly and went to a nearby private room, leaving no room for refusal.

Where did she get the nerve?

Natalie really wanted to walk away, but she was more curious about what Wendy had to say to her.

After thinking for a moment, she followed.

Wendy sat on the sofa, looking down on the place with disdain. Her self-righteous sense of superiority was extremely annoying.

But Natalie, out of her own upbringing, said nothing. "Mrs. Kensington, I don't have much time. You'd better make it quick."

Natalie glanced at her watch, giving Wendy only five minutes.

Wendy's expression was strange, as if she had made up her mind before speaking. "Natalie, since Gabriel is willing to get back together with you, I think you should pay attention to your private life."
