Chapter 13 It's Officially Over
"Gabriel, this is the money you gave me over the past three years. Now I'm returning it to you. We're even."
Natalie's voice was cold and determined.
A deep complexity filled Gabriel's eyes. His emotions at this moment were particularly complicated.
Everyone understood what was happening. Just recently, Alyssa had labeled Natalie as someone obsessed with money, and Natalie quickly proved it with her actions. Alyssa felt utterly embarrassed.
Natalie left amidst the shimmering starlight, while Alyssa clenched her lower lip, trembling all over.
Natalie was the source of all her troubles!
"Gabriel, Natalie must be mad at me again, so let's go."
Gabriel didn't let go of this opportunity. "Wait for me at the entrance."
After he finished speaking, he went straight in and saw Natalie sitting in a booth on the side. The famous Victor was kneeling beside her, gently massaging her red ankles. Gabriel glared at this scene with a fierce look.
The two looked up at the unexpected guest. Victor smiled and calmly sat down next to Natalie, putting his arm around her.
"Mr. Kensington, if you're not comforting the beauty, do you really have the mood to come trouble us?" Gabriel frowned, feeling a chill in the air as he stared at Victor holding Natalie's hand.
"Natalie, if I've done something to upset you, you can come trouble me, but you should apologize to Alyssa." Natalie chuckled, meeting his gaze. "And if I don't?" she asked, "Do you want to throw me into the water?"
Gabriel was displeased with her casual attitude. Seeing Natalie getting involved with another man so quickly made Gabriel inexplicably angry.
"We used to be husband and wife, so I advise you to be kind." Natalie replied stubbornly, "Mr. Kensington, you don't know me, I'm naturally malicious."
Gabriel was speechless, frustrated by Natalie's defiant attitude. But they were divorced, so he had no position to teach her a lesson.
"Suit yourself." He turned and left.
Gabriel even forgot his original intention to explain his relationship with Alyssa to Natalie. But now, it wasn't necessary anymore.
Natalie's smile gradually faded. Then, Victor patted her shoulder. "Natalie, do you still like him?"
"How is that possible?" Natalie sneered. She wouldn't make the same mistake again.
Inside Gabriel's car, Alyssa was wearing his clothes and about to explain what had happened tonight to dispel Gabriel's doubts, when the surprised driver exclaimed, "Isn't that Ms. Davis?" The driver slowly parked the car and pointed at the huge electronic screen of the Fighike Hotel behind them.
The scene of Alyssa and Natalie by the pool was repeatedly playing on the multimillion-dollar per minute advertisement slot on the screen. Only someone took the initiative to blur their faces, but all the celebrities and dignitaries attending the banquet knew their identities.
Gabriel stared at the screen intently. The video was silent, but they could clearly see that Natalie didn't even touch Alyssa, and then Alyssa took a step back and jumped off the pool.
In an instant, the atmosphere became stagnant and the air pressure dropped heavily.
Gabriel was furious, his eyes sharp. Just a few minutes ago, he had gone to find Natalie and ask her to apologize.
This was Natalie's reply to them.
Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous!
Alyssa turned pale. She trembled, feeling extreme fear.
She never expected someone to put the surveillance footage on a billboard visible to the entire city.
The car door was slammed shut.
Gabriel stood outside the car, his tone cold and harsh, his gaze hidden and deep.
"Tomorrow morning, I'll have someone take you to Fairland Airport!"
