Chapter 410 Bathe Him

Elijah's expression was as dark as a storm cloud.

His fists were clenched, barely containing his anger.

Natalie couldn't help but open the door and step out. Seeing the two men sleeping at her doorstep, her expression shifted several times.

"This Jagger."

Elijah's face was taut. "Ms. Clark, please go back inside and rest."

Natalie smiled and shook her head.

"It's too noisy to sleep."

With all the commotion, Yves had just asked her why she was playing music late at night. It felt like an earthquake!

Elijah couldn't hold back any longer and kicked Jagger.

Jagger jolted awake, eyes wide with surprise, and immediately pledged his loyalty.

"Ms. Clark, why aren't you resting? Don't worry, as long as Elijah stays, I stay. I won't let any danger come near you."

Natalie was helpless.

She closed her eyes, looking at Elijah with exasperation.

"Go rest in the guest room. I'll be fine."

Elijah hesitated but had no choice.

A world champion, forced into a corner by Jagger?

Elijah, looking grim, gathered his things and left. Jagger quickly woke up and scrambled to follow.

"Wait for me! Let's share a room. I have nightmares, but I don't snore or grind my teeth."

Natalie sighed in relief as they left.

Suddenly, the study door opened.

Gabriel wheeled himself out, looking exhausted.

He frowned. "Natalie, you're finally back."

Natalie raised an eyebrow. "What's up?"

"You promised to take care of me. Aren't you going to ask how I'm feeling today?"

Gabriel's voice was low and hoarse, not as cold as before, almost vulnerable.

Natalie felt a pang in her heart, but kept her facial expressionless.

"How was your day, Mr. Kensington?"

Gabriel smiled faintly. "Better now that I've seen you."

Natalie rolled her eyes. Gabriel's sweet talk was nothing new to her.

Once he recovered, she planned to leave and never see him again.

"I'm going to rest. See you tomorrow."

"Wait, I need a bath."

Gabriel suddenly called out.

Natalie froze, looking at him in disbelief. "What?"

What did he mean?

Did he expect her to help him bathe?

Gabriel sighed, explaining reluctantly, "The doctor said my right leg can't get wet, but the rest of me can. I can't manage alone. You don't want me to get worse and stay here forever, do you?"

It made sense.

Especially with Gabriel's innocent face, devoid of any ulterior motives.

Natalie stared at him for a few seconds. His sincerity made her feel like she was overthinking.

"Fine, I'll change and come over. You can undress yourself, right?"

Gabriel sighed in relief, a flicker of something in his eyes.

"Okay, I'll wait for you."

His voice was cheerful, his heart racing with excitement.

He recalled Jagger's words before Natalie returned. "Mr. Kensington, a man needs an edge to attract a woman. Your edge is your money and looks. Ms. Clark doesn't need money, so you need to use your charm!"

It was working.

Maybe Jagger wasn't entirely useless.

He might just pass his probation early.

Natalie returned to her room, standing at the door with a sly smile and a raised eyebrow. Helping him bathe? She'd make sure he had a memorable one.

With that thought, she texted Elijah.
