Chapter 392 Personal Care
But she hadn't left yet; someone tugged at the hem of her dress.
Gabriel was sitting on the hospital bed, leaning forward with great effort to grab her dress.
Accidentally, he pulled a muscle in his right leg, causing him to break out in a cold sweat, his face turning pale and grim.
Natalie was startled and quickly stepped forward. "What's wrong with you?"
Gabriel lowered his head, enduring the pain, with veins bulging on his temples!
It was clear how much pain he was in!
"Call the doctor, quick!"
Natalie looked at Brad.
Brad was stunned for a moment, then responded and went out.
Seeing her worried expression, Gabriel felt a bit guilty.
He raised his hand and gently touched her hair.
She stiffened slightly but didn't move away, afraid of hurting his wound.
"It's okay, I was just kidding. It doesn't hurt."
His voice was hoarse and rough, but he managed a comforting smile.
Natalie's chest tightened slightly; her intuition told her he was in a lot of pain.
In less than a minute, the medical team arrived.
Five or six specialists began a consultation.
Natalie wisely stepped out to make room.
Gabriel's eyes were fixed on her, clearly not wanting her to leave!
She stood at the door, head down, messaging someone.
Ten minutes later, the consultation ended.
"Mr. Kensington, your right leg is fractured. You must avoid strenuous activity, especially walking.
It will take at least six months to recover, or it will affect your ability to walk in the future."
Fortunately, despite the car accident, the most serious injury was just a fracture in his right calf.
Gabriel responded nonchalantly.
The doctor continued to advise, "It's best to have someone take care of you closely, or it will affect your recovery."
Gabriel looked up, his eyes dark. Why was the doctor so nagging?
After finishing, the doctor left.
The room was left with only Natalie and Gabriel; even Brad had gone out.
Once they left, Natalie noticed the steel plate on Gabriel's right leg.
Her heart tightened, but she remained expressionless.
"Why don't you find someone to take care of you?"
"Or you could take care of me?"
Gabriel smiled gently, "After all, I got hurt because of you. Can you refuse?"
Natalie's gratitude vanished in an instant!
She snorted coldly, "In your dreams!"
Gabriel smiled calmly.
"If you take care of me, we'll call it even. Otherwise, do you want to owe me forever?"
He changed his tone, "I don't mind, but Blair is determined to propose to your family. Can your father refuse?"
The room fell silent!
With this situation, Ulysses wouldn't be able to refuse Blair so firmly.
A life-saving grace, the Clark family could reluctantly repay with other means.
But twice, it would be seen as the Clark family being ungrateful!
Blair was persistent, fixated on the Clark family?
Natalie's expression changed several times, and she took a deep breath.
"Fine, until you recover."
Agreeing with him made her feel a bit better.
After all, she didn't want to owe him too much.
Gabriel's joy was unmistakable; he hadn't expected her to agree so readily!
Natalie frowned slightly. "But I don't want to go to Kensington Villa."
It would be better to keep Gabriel in the hospital; maybe the doctors and nurses could help.
Before she could finish, Gabriel decisively interrupted her.
"Of course not, we're going to our home."
Natalie frowned slightly, her chest sinking.
Great, she had agreed too soon!
