Chapter 301 Don't Covet What Doesn't Belong to You

Natalie finally figured it out and felt a lot better.

Around eleven, she took a relaxing bath, slapped on a face mask, and got ready for bed.

She checked her phone and saw a familiar avatar in her latest friend requests—it was Gabriel.

His message read, "My friend."

Natalie rolled her eyes and let out a small scoff.

This guy was just threatening her to stay away from Felix, and now he's trying to add her? What's his deal?

She declined the friend request.

Feeling sleepy, she turned off her phone and went to sleep.

Gabriel stared at the message on his phone that said his friend request was declined, his expression dark and cold.

Of course, he had scared her off in the end!

He had been busy all night with no progress, feeling as desperate as if facing an abyss, powerless.

The deep night settled in, and everything quieted down.

Some people slept soundly, while others stayed awake all night.

The next day, Brad knocked on the office door and walked in. Gabriel was sitting there, looking indifferent and stern. His mood had been bad these past few days, and everyone had to be cautious.

No doubt, he must have hit a wall with Natalie!

"Mr. Kensington, the card with the money for the painting has already been given to Ms. Clark's assistant, Aaron."

Gabriel paused and responded with a cold "Hmm."

Brad continued his report, "Felix's studio has been cut off from all funding sources, and their works have been taken down completely. All the collaborations they had previously agreed upon, I've contacted the other parties to terminate the contracts. I believe it won't take half a day before Felix's studio faces bankruptcy."

With the power of the Kensington family, dealing with such a small studio was just a piece of cake.

Felix could have avoided all this. A young man chasing his dreams, managing to start something under family pressure, was already quite an achievement.

But now, it was all gone!

Gabriel's expression was cold as he glanced at his watch, thinking even half a day was too much!

Suddenly, his phone rang—it was Felix.

Gabriel directly hung up.

But Felix called one call after another, as if he wouldn't give up.

Gabriel's face grew darker, annoyed by the disturbance, and he directly blocked the number.

But in the blink of an eye, Brad's phone rang.

Brad saw it was Felix calling.

He looked at Gabriel's face with difficulty, then chose to hang up the call.

"Leave," Gabriel ordered.

"Yes, sir." Brad left, visibly relieved.

Gabriel's phone rang again.

It was Blair.

He paused and answered.

"I heard you shut down Felix's studio," Blair asked.

Gabriel's voice was calm as he tugged at his tie, his movements lazy. "Yes, I plan to send him to work in a subsidiary in the neighboring city. He can't just drift through life. Since he's a Kensington, he needs to be taken care of."

Blair sounded satisfied. "You always think things through."

"Why have you changed your stance? Gabriel is bullying me," Felix shouted unwillingly, grabbing the phone. "Gabriel, you're too much! You made all my investors cancel their contracts. We have no money left! We're in debt!"

Gabriel didn't hang up, his gaze as cold as ice.

His tone was indifferent, full of warning. "I told you long ago, don't covet things that don't belong to you."

Even if Felix was his nephew, he wouldn't go easy on him.

After saying that, he didn't want to waste any more words and directly hung up the phone.
