Chapter 350 Doesn't Deserve Me
Joe smiled arrogantly, "Alright, it's a deal then!"
Meeting adjourned.
Natalie and Victor were still sitting there, with Victor rubbing his forehead in frustration.
"I didn't want you to bet with him."
Natalie raised an eyebrow, "Well, it's too late now, and besides, didn't you drag me into this?"
"Because Billy is useless. We can't rely on him for this project. I genuinely wanted you to make it happen."
Natalie smiled, curious. "Why do you hate Billy so much?"
Victor snorted, "He seduced a female subordinate and caused a scandal. Our company almost made the headlines because of him. I spent a fortune to cover it up, and now he's trying to pull the same stunt by getting that woman into the finance department."
"Joe has been covering for him repeatedly, making the company a mess. I've wanted to get rid of him for a long time!"
Natalie's smile faded. So, Billy was a scumbag.
"Serves him right!"
Natalie pursed her lips and looked at Aaron, "Do you have any information on that project and the business tycoon?"
Aaron nodded and handed over a file.
Natalie smiled, opened it, and her expression instantly froze.
It was completely blank!
Victor coughed, stood up, and walked out without stopping.
"We couldn't find anything. Even the name might be fake. You'll have to work hard on this one."
Natalie was helpless.
So, she had taken on a big mess?
Aaron couldn't help but chuckle beside her.
"Ms. Clark, if you need any help, just let me know."
Natalie looked at him and voiced her doubts.
"Do you know why Joe is so confident he can secure this project?"
Joe seemed to have bet everything on this, including Billy. He couldn't have gotten this far just by being blindly confident, right?
Aaron looked a bit dejected and shook his head. He didn't know.
"I'll look into it right away."
Such a mysterious person. Natalie was getting more and more curious!
Her phone rang. It was Felix.
She answered.
"Felix, what's up?"
"Natalie, we're having a celebration party tonight at the GR club. Want to join us?"
Natalie was about to agree when she suddenly realized that Gabriel might attend the party too.
Felix sensed her hesitation and quickly added.
"Don't worry, Gabriel won't be there. He has a business dinner tonight. Vincent is getting married soon. Apparently, he got a girl pregnant and couldn't hide it anymore. Tonight's his bachelor party."
Natalie couldn't help but laugh, "Alright, I'll definitely come!"
She hung up and immediately called Kelly.
"Is it over between you and Vincent? Is your mom keeping trying to set you two up?"
"He doesn't deserve me! Ever since you helped me take that photo, my mom has been hesitant. And while she was hesitating, the Turner family ran into trouble. I heard he fell for a girl from a poor family and had a huge fight with his family. Who knows what's going on now?"
Natalie smiled and couldn't help but share what she had just heard.
Kelly let out a relieved sigh, "So that's what happened. No wonder they were trying to keep it under wraps. Now I can be completely at ease! By the way, I recently met someone new. Never mind, I'll tell you later. My mom's here!"
She hurriedly hung up, and Natalie smiled, then went to prepare her outfit for the celebration party that night.
Anyway, the company's project issues could wait until Aaron found out more about Billy.
