Chapter97 The Talent of Jerks

The night was dark, and Natalie, upon hearing those words, paused in her steps, her complexion drained. Leo's words pierced Natalie's heart like a knife, stirring her to the core.

The scar she had desperately tried to conceal was now exposed, unable to be brushed off as if nothing had happened.

She struggled to forget those three years, but there were always reminders of her existence and her worth, which she deemed worthless!

Yves let out a cold laugh, his voice carrying a dangerous tone.

"Leo, what are you saying?"

He knew that Natalie hadn't fared well during those three years with the Kensington family, but he was unaware of the details. Ulysses forbade anyone from inquiring, and they dared not touch upon it.

However, with a hint of the past brought up now, Leo's words infuriated Yves. The princess, whom the Clark family had cherished, was treated in such a manner?

Leo fell silent for a moment, but Alyssa was Oscar's only concern, making Alyssa more important.

"Is she going to stand by and watch without offering any help?? It's just a bit of blood. Is it necessary to be so stingy? Besides, it's not the first time she's donated blood, right, Natalie?"

Gabriel furrowed his brows, his expression turning colder. "Leo."

Upon hearing Leo's words, Natalie smiled and turned to face him, her eyes flashing with a resolute fierceness.

She approached, looking at Alyssa lying in Gabriel's arms, a faint smirk playing on her lips.

"Mr. Dixon's words sound so comforting. Just a few drops of blood, and everything will be fine? Is it really only about donating a bit of blood?"

Leo was taken aback for a moment, his expression pale. He felt that something was off with Natalie but couldn't pinpoint the issue.

"Compared to her safety, what does giving a bit of blood matter?" he argued.

He thought, ‘Is she only happy if Alyssa died?’

Leo's tone carried a sense of entitlement as if Natalie was obligated to sacrifice for Alyssa.

Shouldn't she feel honored?

Natalie laughed, her smile devoid of warmth. Instead, there seemed to be a hint of coldness. Suddenly, she lifted her leg without hesitation and kicked Alyssa's head wound.

Alyssa let out a sudden scream, "Ah!"

Caught off guard, everyone was unprepared. Leo was startled, trembling. "You..."

Gabriel hadn't expected Natalie to be kicked out like that. The force was unrelenting. Mia stepped forward to block her, not to prevent Natalie from acting but to stop Leo from retaliating!

The scab on Alyssa's head split open unexpectedly. What was worse, new wounds were added, though no blood flowed, just bruising, making it look even more pitiful.

"Gabriel." She clung tightly to Gabriel, fear and misery evident.

"Mr. Kensington, Mr. Dixon, let me make it clear: I have no mercy. I don't care if Alyssa lives or dies, and a jerk like her doesn’t deserve my blood. I've been kind enough not to drain her blood; if anyone dares to ask me to donate blood to her again, I'll reclaim what I gave her before with interest."

Natalie's words were clear and sharp, her voice resonant.

Guilt Trip?

She would rather have no morals than let them have their way!

Gabriel looked at Natalie, falling silent. He was uncomfortable with Leo's words, let alone Natalie's.

Natalie had divorced him. She had no obligation to donate blood to Alyssa again, didn’t she?

Leo stood there pale. The hatred in Natalie's eyes was clear, undisguised, making him somewhat fearful.

Natalie's gaze swept over Alyssa's face, a hint of mocking curve tugging at the corner of her lips.

"I may not have the talent of being a jerk, but I hope Ms. Clark can survive."
